I’m so very happy!! I had my first appointment with Dago, let me tell you, he was awesome!! He gave me a warm welcome when I arrived and immediately I felt comfortable.This was my make over!! I was cutting my very long hair to my shoulders and going from a brunette to a blonde!!This was not going to be an easy task.Right away he asked me what I wanted, he listened, and he delivered!!! I love my short hair with lots of layers , it feels so much lighter! Oh and the color, spot on!!

Excellent!!! Rika was my woman and she more than made my hair beautiful and renewed! Ive also gotten myself a new friend. Everyone here was very nice. Definitely going back! Thanks Rika.

A employee by the name carmen was beyond rude to me . All I wanted was my roots glossed or colored and she insisted I get a color correction. I did not want bleach in my hair. I just wanted a shade darker. She told me Im not the professional she is and I had no idea what I was talking about . Then she insinuated I was trying to be cheap by just wanting a gloss tint. She then told me it would be 120 dollars to color my roots .I said thats a bit high for just my roots. She them questioned me to go back to the salon I went to before . And why I didnt go . For one I owe her no explanation for ware I go and this whole consultation felt like a interrogation and harrassment. Im beyond shocked that any hair stylist could treat someone like this . She was far from professional. And her coworker was shaking her head and rolling her eyes at me the entire time. I felt so uncomfortable and judged. Everytime I was trying to explain to her what I wanted she would interrupt me and tell me be quit and let her talk shes the professional.All I wanted was a kind person who cared about my hair. Honestly I would of paid the 120 dollars if she had been professionally and kind. I will be following up with management about this employee.someone like carmen does not make jcpenney or the salon look good at all. I will never return. I ended up going to another salon in Carlsbad and they did exactly what I wanted with to questions, complications or problems and they were happy to do it. Horrible experience. I ended up talking to Aaron the jcpenney manager for merchandise and he comforted me and made me feel like I was cared about so 5 stars for him .

I will never forget this.. Was a while ago I wanted highlights my mom took me while we were just shopping and thought to come here... Big mistake this elederly woman left the bleach in my hair to long while she went to go eat her lunch in the back she came back and I was feeling my hair it was literally coming out!!! My bangs were coming out she didn’t even apologize, no refund was given not even a complementary hair cut (which me and my mom wouldn’t take it just out of courtesy ). I was devastated after this I had to beg a hairstylist to fix my hair at Twig in Bressi not the nicest but she did a good job fixing it when she agreed... thank God but horrible experience do not get your hair cut done at jcpenny lesson learned...
