He did surgery on me last Sept. and it went so well that I was released to go home the same day, which is unlikely for most patients. Im not one to write reviews, particularly not for a physician or a medical practice. In our current healthcare enviornment my experiences have been less than desirable. Large group practices are usually a disaster. But not so with GA Urology and Dr. Gonzalez. It was a pleasantly refreshing experience, right from making the appointment to the consultation itself. The electronic systems are one of the best, the staff is amazingly caring and accomodating. And Dr. Gonzalez himself was great. I wasnt really looking for a Urologist, but I think I just found my go-to man!

Doctor Gonzalez is a credit to his profession.I was referred to Doctor Gonzalez after a recent diagnosis of prostate cancer. As you would expect, I had a lot of questions and concerns. In my first visit he conveyed a sense of “this is going to be Ok”. He was confident and very knowledgeable regarding my condition. He was open to second opinions and even made recommendations. Dr. Gonzalez has performed thousands of robotic radical prostatectomies. You don’t want someone without experience doing this procedure. If they don’t cut enough, they leave some cancer. If they cut too much, they will damage the nerves. My surgery went great! I was amazed at how good I felt only hours after the surgery. The only discomfort was the bloating. (They pump you full of air). Today Im happy to say I’m cancer free!!!Thank you very much for everything Doctor Gonzalez!

Dr. Gonzalez is an incredible Urologist & highly skilled Surgeon! I had a very enlarged prostate that eventually became cancerous. Dr. Gonzalez performed a robotic prostatectomy that went extremely well! I am deeply grateful to this marvelous doctor!

He diagnosed me with cancer without a biopsy. Everything he said was a lie! Then he made a mistake by not using die before surgery, after he told me he would, then he cut a major vein, repaired it and gave me blood thinner, then he cut my kidney in half because I was bleeding, he couldnt see what he was doing and cut the mass in half also, pathology came back it was a piece of fat. I needed 5 units of blood, which took hours to get started, I was in shock all that time & he never came back to see me in the hospital. I was in NorthSide Canton Hospital for 6 days. The nurses tried to kill me. Every time I ask for Froylan Gonzalez, he would not come. Now He wont see me & his office staff wont let me make an appointment to do any follow & I have 100% medical coverage on my insurance. Please if you have a loved one or are considering him as your doctor or surgeon, you better pray & reconsider! He convinced me he was the best there was & I am sorry I ever met him!

Dr Gonzalez is nothing short of an amazing doctor. By the time I sought his care I had been told many different things by at least 4 different doctors with no real answers or explanation for what was happening with my health. He was the first doctor to sit down beside me and illistrate what the tests meant and what his action plan was. He explained everything thoroughly and made an effort to be sure I understood what was happening with my body. Then he went above and beyond to find resolutions to my health concerns. On March 11th we had Green Light Laser Surgery performed by Dr. Froylan Gonzalez. I researched the procedure before hand and I found Dr. Gonzalez highly recommended even by the manufacture of the laser. Dr. Gonzalez is an expert in the robotics surgery. I have had no issues since the surgery and it was everything Dr. Gonzalez had clearly explained in pre-surgery counseling.
