I had a terrific experience being a first time customer I did not know what to expect. From receptionist to Doctor to General Manager Estela at the end making sure I was happy with experience. 5 Star Service will be back thank you Americas Best Brownsville Texas

We were just refused service by GM Estella Anguiano because according to her my 3 year old counts as an extra person. As if I could have her wait alone in the car. Not to mention their website says nothing about this rule nor was I ever notified. (We made the appointment online). Worse customer service. At least she admitted that she was refusing service. Dont take your business here, fixing to write to their corporate office as well as the better business bureau.

Upon entering, the costumer service was poor. After my son had his eye exam we were told which area of glasses we could choose from. The only problem was there weren’t many. I had wanted to use their promotion 2 pair of glasses with eye exam for 69$ . Unable to we settled on a set for 111$ . A week later we returned to to pickup the glasses . To my surprise only the lenses were sent without the frames . So I was able to observe the employee pick 2 pair of glasses from display and shove my sons lenses into place . The whole experience at this place was unprofessional I would never recommend anyone to go there .

Disappointed.. was recommended by a friend to go there. When in there with good insurance and they even had me pay out my pocket .. Same day took my other two sons to another competitive store close by with same INSURANCE came out with four pairs of glasses total out my pocket zero.

Yall really just took my money. You guys dont care about a patients eye health. I tried explaining to the doctor what kind of problems I had with my eyes but he literally cut me off and said ok sir, have a nice day. I honestly think this whole company is a hoax. Easiest way to waste your money.

People skills are lacking in America’s’s best staff. First I ask representative for info regarding contact lens class. Rep provided inaccurate information and made me make an unnecessary trip to the store. Then when I spoke to another rep to try to prevent me wasting my time. That rep was condescending and rude. Never offered apology for wasting my time and providing inaccurate information. Brownsville Texas location.

I went 2 weeks ago to pick out a pair of glasses and also some sunglasses as to which it’s not the first time. They told me my wife had to wait in the front as per she was not allowed so I had to keep going back and forth with her so she could help me choose a pair at glasses .. Well come yesterday I went to pick up my glasses and I see a man and his wife there in the floor trying to pick out glasses which is fine but I do believe you should treat everyone equally not only that he tells me that my sunglasses are in but there not processed which then I ask him well when will they get proceeds which he reply’s well maybe tonight or maybe tomorrow which is already getting me irritated .. so I just walk out . Today I asked my wife to see if they were ready and they tell her that now the glasses aren’t in and that they’ll call her when they get to it... Never again will I go back to this ..

All the staff was really nice, I waited less that 5 minutes to get my exam and immediately after it the doctor was checking me. Want was super nice helping me choose my new glasses.

After the exam, I waited 45 minutes for my prescription. Very confusing experience. I had an appointment for 10 Am and didn’t leave the location until 12:15 pm. Good promotion if you don’t have insurance. Vsp is out of network so I just went for my prescription.

I just want to say a big thank you to Esmy and Toni who were very helpful. The office was full of staff but it seems like they were doing everything there on their own. Toni who fixed my daughters glasses that looked unrepairable and to Esmy who did as much as she could to get us in and out quickly. We promised my daughter she would walk out with contacts and she did. We had been waiting since June for the appointment. She was super helpful. Thank you girls people like you is what companies need more of.

Dr. Pena explained thoroughly how to read Xrays from eyes and was patient and knowledgeable. His staff was very accommodating and kind as well! Great experience! I LOVE my new glasses - Johnathan assisted me- he was fantastic aa well!

So I went today for a prescription and when I initially called to make an appt nobody told me that I was supposed to arrive 15 minutes beforehand so on my way there they were fixing a street near this place and got late when I arrived this lady was mad and said that I was supposed to arrive 15 minutes before and told me the day I could reschedule, im never doing bussiness here anymore 🙃

The doctor did not even ‘examine’ my eyes, just asked if I could see and told me I was done. The front desk ladies have a lot of attitude for women who have to wear THAT much foundation to look feminine. And my ‘new’ glasses were given to me bent and crooked. F this place. Never coming back.

I am very disappointed at the level of service from this eye center. As a “VIP Eye Club,” the doctor and associates did not take the time to hear my eye concerns and proceeded to provide a lesser eye prescription. I figured that since I wa snot satisfied even after voicing my opinion and that it has only been 6 months since my past eye exam I would just continue to use my past prescription that was still valid until October 2020 and they denied to honor it. I feel under-welcomed and will take my business and my family elsewhere. **LISTEN to your customers/patients!!

This is the absolute best price for contacts plus exam that I could find. I also joined the eye care club there for even better discounts. I buy my contacts for 6 months and then reorder the next 6 months on the website. It is super easy with a 10% discount and free shipping for being a club member. I ordered online on Thursday evening and had my contacts in hand on Monday. Thats pretty fast service. I am a very satisfied customer.

Usual doctor visits, especially when they’re walk ins, might take longer than expected. However, I was given a time that we would be seen. 30 minutes after everyone and their mother got seen, we had enough and asked what was going on... they’d forgotten to add us on the list. Incredible!! The doctor was rude and they didn’t want to give us the prescription for the glasses. I, of course, didn’t leave without at least the prescription for the glasses. We now have to go back to get training on how to put on contacts cause they were understaffed and they didn’t have the time to give us 5 minutes of their time... especially since the assistant was ironing her hair and on her phone. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical office.

Dont know why but todays service was way off. Rude snitchy comments infront of spanish speaking patients from front desk receptionist and co worker. Not willing to answer questions on add ins for glasses once choosen. Just trying to get people out of store so they could go to lunch.

Horrible experience!! The lady helping me out asked if I wanted a contact prescription as well and I asked her before I got the exam if my insurance covered both and she told me YES. Afterwards when I decided to use my insurance credit towards glasses she tells me I have to pay a $39.99 for a fitting fee for the contacts. The fee would only be waived if I used my credit towards contacts. Of course I was not told of this before hand, long story short I had to contacts with them when I initially wanted to get glasses. NEVER again will I be going to Any Americas best store. They should be more upfront with fees, that is why I asked before hand if it covered or not, if there was going to be a fitting fee I wouldve never asked for the contact exam in the first place.

I went here because a friend recommends me this place.The staff is great they explain the best options to choose for my glasses and future visits.The doctor Pena, is so rude and unprofessional. Looks like he was mad, you say hi and a good matter and with a smile and he keeps serious, I stay on his chair no more than one minute and he dont ask more information, and he dont want me to give me the prescription because my eye has some little infection and I told him my glasses are broken, and I only have contacts and he responds Im telling you cant wear contacts, so how I suppose to keep doing normal things without glasses!He gave me a prescription for some medicine want to see me in 7 days, but Hell No!!!! Im not going to come back with that doctor again.I already do my appointment with another location.I already see on other users bad reviews of this location and most for the doctor, I should read the reviews next time before I get to some place.Like other review mentioned he threat his patients depending on his mood..

I like to review the comments on the businesses that I am interested in frequenting.... Noticed a few bad reviews... So I thought I would share my experiences with you all as well.....Dr Pena was very experienced and insightful in his knowledge of lymes disease and Morgellons disease too... He made me feel confident that he could be a good fit for me. The entire staff was courteous and even went out of their way to accommodate me and they now have me as a client for LIFE 😉🌹

The staff is great... The doctor is so rude and unprofessional... I was seen by another doctor who was covering for Dr. Pena (while he was on his wonderful vacations )and he was amazing he gave me contacts to try for a week and told me if I needed more prescription to come back and I would be given more. So I did and this time Dr Pena was there, I told him everything that I was told by the other Dr but as soon as I started talking to him he started to sound a little upset. He then told me its my place and I give you what I want I was so upset... I left the place I told the ladies and they said they will send a message to a manager but the doctor works seprate from them. I havent heard from anybody I send an email to corporate because my insurance paid half and I paid for the rest for a prescription for glasses and contacts that is not right for me. I am so upset I guess he treats his patients depending on his mood..

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE AND A SAD JOKE OF THE OPTOMETRY BUSINESS.AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. WIFEY WENT BY TO GET AN OVERPRICED SET OF PLASTIC JUNKER GLASSES TO WHICH SHE WAS CHARGED AN ARM AND A LEG AND WERE DELIVERED BENT WITH POOR QUALITY.BUSINESS PLACE CLAIMS THAT BECAUSE WE DID NOT BUY THEIR ((INSURANCE)) WE WERE OUT OF LUCK. I have to say the glasses are not the greatest quality. The Manager measured and fit me and they ended up being not wide enough ,after multiple adjustments . I went back only to encounter a lack of customer service. Whatever training or experience they have is lacking go somewhere else.

1st time at this place..was referred from some coworks..receptionist was nice and greetful..Dr Peña was very nice and helpful, made me feel comfortable. CJ was super nice and helpfel as well. He explained the trials and scheduled my next appointment. Definitely will be back and will refer friends.

The receptionist in that place is very rude. His attitude is superb and little patience. Very bad customer service.TheSecond person doing the first study the same. His manners are very rude. Sit down put your head there without addressing my husband or me.How one will know who will attend first. Not nice my educated.The doctor and the person ordering the glasses are different. The doctor is very friendly and the same as the one who helps you order the glasses.I recommend ? DO NOT!
