Been coming here for a while. During my haircuts the owner is usually pretty loud. It seemed like everyone was laid back and all of this didnt bother me until recently. The owner decided to scold one of her employees in front of customers. I believe the owners name is Ginger. She went on to tell her how this woman came back and that was the worst haircut she ever saw. She told this worker that since it was so bad, she cant cut any walk-in customers hair and needed to only cut her own clients. I just thought this was very unprofessional. Regardless of how laid back and environment is, doing this when there were many customers around is rude. Makes for a very awkward situation both for the clients and that poor woman. Wont be coming back here as it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Took the both of small children in to see Lauren on a recommendation and she was so wonderful with them!

My wife got her hair dye done here and they done a bad job for $115.Her hair is black, and the lady that did her hair say she dont usually do black hair! So FYI if you have black hair, dont go there! Sound like they only does other hair color besides black!Definitely not going back!Sorry, I usually give good review but when I saw my wife hair color, so disappointed for that price!

I have been coming here for years and always had a great experience. I’m not sure if they changed ownership, but their service is awful! I just showed up at 5:46pm and the door was locked with a customer inside. An employee was sitting in a chair on her phone. She came to the door when I was walking away to tell me they close at 5:45pm. The hours on the door state 6:00pm! I had been rushing to make it in time for a quick haircut because I have a funeral to attend tomorrow. This is the fourth time they have completely disappointed me. I will not return, nor will my friends and family.

Lauren is my stylist. She listens to me, and does great with my hair. Cant beat $10.00 haircuts.

My daughter and I previously had our haircuts done elsewhere, which was a huge mistake. We called, and Annie answered the phone, she was very friendly over the phone and told us to come right in. Amber initially, fixed both mine and my daughters hair cuts. My daughters haircut was previously very choppy and uneven, now it’s all to one length and fixed wonderfully! My hair was previously cut and layered, my overall both length was the only thing done to satisfaction previously. Amber was so kind and friendly to both of us and talked to both of us the entire time. After explaining my precious encounter at the other place, she took the time to fix my hair, she showed me the evenness to my layers, she didn’t rush at all. The atmosphere was friendly, busy from all the customers but everyone was so kind and pleasant. Definitely will only come here from now on!!

This is a great hair salon if you are looking for a bargain. They cut pretty smoothly, but after my haircut, they forgot this small chunk of hair. Not bad, but could do better. When I walked in there for the first time it smelled pretty horrible. I much recommend going to Hideaway Salon, although it is a little bit more pricey than this place. The hair stylist was very nice. Well done!

I love this hair studio. All of the stylists are so friendly! I go in here once a month with at least two or three grandkids with me. Everyone always makes us feel welcome and relaxed. Samantha is the best hairstylist and wonderful with kids.

Nice haircuts, but the women at the front right station is so obnoxious! She screamed about all of her family drama the entire time I was waiting and inserted herself in other customers business. A teenage boy was asking his mom questions as she got her hair done and the stylist was just yelling at him. I erased my name and left.

I got my hair cut here awhile back and had it colored as well. The hair cut was one of the best Ive ever had, especially for the price! The color looked great although i did have some of it on my face and ended up having to scrub it off. Overall I had a great experience!

2nd time I went there. First time h/c was awesome. Went back to the same person and showed her how she cut it the first time. She apparently went into happy scissor mode and cut it shorter than I wanted. She also got scissor happy on my great 2yr old nephew. I doubt Ill be going back.

Go see Jodie. She does a great job on my boys. I have 3 ages 12, 8, & 3 she always does such a good job and you cant beat a $7 hair cut!!

Cant beat the price ($7) for a haircut. The ladies there all have 10 or more years experience and they did great on both mine and my husband hair.

Usually I have pretty decent hair cuts, but todays was prettyy rough. I guess the moral of the story is go when they arent busy and tired. Seven bucks is a good deal for a (usually) good job.

This place rocks. They cut my 3 boys hair & it looks great every time! Weve been going here over 5 years and Ive never had a bad experience.

I walked in (never been here before) no one greeted me or said a single thing. I sat down unsure of how things worked and waited for someone who looked like they were in charge. Didnt see anyone by stylists with customers. A man walked in, signed a note book on a ottoman full of magazines and sat down. Eventually someone walked over and called a name off of the notebook. At this time I walked out, uncomfortable and unpleasant with this business. Dont waste your time, they were super packed. A couple next to me said theyd been waiting for 30 minutes and were still waiting when I left.

STAY AWAY!!! I have visited this salon a couple times a year for the past 3 years to see Ginger, who is also the owner. Ginger always seems kind, however nobody in her salon is capable of doing anything other than a trim without messing it up. I had been working on growing out my hair so I only visited her for hair trims a couple times a year. Last week I made the mistake of visiting her and requested 3 inches to be cut off and layers added. (Im 55 and when standing my long, straight hair touched my elbows.) Also, I brought my computer with 5 different pictures of the haircut that I wanted and also stressed that I needed to keep the length. She said it was no problem. When she was finished, I looked at in the mirror and was shocked to find that my hair barely went a couple inches past my shoulders. To my dismay, she had cut off 7-8 inches of hair and looked nothing like the pictures :( As if that wasnt bad enough the layers are inconsistent-the bottom 2 inches of my hair have no layers. It looks awful!!! My apologies for the extensive review but I dont want anybody else to have an experience like mine. STAY FAR, FAR, AWAY!!

Ill preface this by saying that Ive came to Split Ends for as long as I can remember. Their haircuts, mens anyhow, are good for the price but lack in overall quality. They tend to miss spots here and there leaving long(er) hairs. My main complaint however is that their hours are until 6PM yet they lock their doors and or leave by 5:45. Ive experienced this 3-4 times. Ive even had them smile at me from inside as I tug on a locked door from outside. Its the small things, sometimes, and Im going to go elsewhere.
