So happy that I found this dental office. After my appointment I know without a doubt that I want to schedule my daughter’s appointment here as well. We were recently at a dental office chain and had a poor experience and no one who would be available to schedule future appointments or answer my calls and with having a busy work schedule and needing so much done, I wasn’t able to schedule everything at once and they didn’t even to offer to schedule anything after our appointments. So I knew I had to find somewhere else. EVERYONE in the Manatee Dental staff was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable in a not so comfortable place. I felt everything was so clearly laid out for me and I am so happy to feel like someone cares and is helping me get the care that I need. I already have my next appointment scheduled and am finally able to start the process.

I had an emergency situation with a cracked upper molar that I have been trying to ignore for months. I am from NY but in FL for an extended period as a caregiver for my mom. I found Manatee dental on Google and read the reviews. They fit me in the same day, were able to put a temporary crown on my upper molar and we worked out a fair and reasonable payment plan because I don’t have dental insurance. All of the staff I interacted with were professional and efficient. I am happy I chose Dr K. & his dental assistant, Alissa. They will continue to take care of my teeth over the next few weeks. Linda, at the front desk made the whole visit easy!

Very unprofessional. Did not feel as if the dental practice even wanted me as a patient. Firstly, the receptionist came to the door and told me they are short staffed that day and I would have a very long wait. Asked me if she could reschedule me. I said, NO I need to wait, I am having a dental emergency. I then sat down in the waiting room at 9:30 AM, she then stated again I would probably be waiting until the afternoon. I said okay, and just sat and waited.While in the waiting room, I heard all of the dental staff behind the counter carrying on and laughing. Watching videos on cell phones at a too loud of a level for a professional setting. I also heard them loud and clearly talking about personal lives. I felt it was very unprofessional behavior of the dental staff.I was called back for my dental exam 30 minutes after arriving.Exam was completed very quickly. Dentist was not very personable, told me I needed 3 root canals done and to do them all in 1 day, about 4 to 5 hours of major dental work.Then another individual brought me the Treatment Plan/Cost Estimate. This amount was very costly. I didnt feel as if anything was explained to me very well from the Dentist. Then the receptionist is telling me we need to schedule your appointment immediately before the afternoon gets booked up because they are so short staffed.At this point I felt completely overwhelmed with this entire experience I was just put through.I ended up leaving, without booking that appointment.Got home and scheduled another consult with a specialist, to get a second opinion. I am very glad I did!!!I found a Root Canal Specialist. They did my procedure over 2 days. A week apart. Very nice personable staff and professional. The dentist was extremely understanding and spent a reasonable amount of time with me.Not to forget to mention, I didnt even need everything done they told me I did at Manatee Dental at College Plaza. I ended up saving thousands of dollars going to this specialist!! Had a great experience and very glad I did NOT return to Manatee Dental at College Plaza.In conclusion, I would like to give a warning to be careful going to Manatee Dental at College Plaza...

Staff very accommodating and pleasant. I was seen for a tooth extraction. It was the tooth extraction gone wrong. While doing the extraction the denist instrument slipped and gouged my gum that wasnt numb. As tears rolled down my cheeks the was no mention of what happened or even an apology. After getting home I noticed 2 stitches in the gum she gouged. Would have been nice to know that. No written instruction we given to me for after care.

Ive been going to manatee dental at college plaza for a couple years now, and the level of care I receive is second to none. The staff is super friendly and Dr. Azizkhani is ten times more capable than any dentist Ive seen in the past. I have recommended this place to multiple friends.

The dentist turned a simple bond procedure into a full set of crowns estimate. Dentists like this are starting to become used car salesman instead of just doing the basic work required. Plus the office had open seating. No separate patient rooms. Like a sweat shop.

Honestly it’s been a few year since I’ve been to the dentist and these ladies made it so painless and easy! They’re extremely responsive and easy to deal with. I had no issues with scheduling or wait times. The staff was amazing and extremely welcoming. I am so glad I selected this office for my visits. Office was also very clean and well maintained! Shannon is amazing at what she does! I went in for a routine cleaning and they discovered a small cavity. I’ve always maintained my teeth pretty well so nothing too crazy but I definitely lucked out with this group! I’d recommend for everyone! My boyfriend and I will definitely be returning!

This new dentist is PHENOMENAL. For someone with a lot of dental issues and history, the ladies in the office are incredibly kind and helpful. I feel much better about my options and more prepared for treatment, highly recommend!! Shannon is the best dental hygienist - she is kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Linda is awesome at scheduling and great at laughing at jokes people make when they are nervous about going to the dentist, and the office manager - Jessica, I believe her name is - is a queen at getting things done. You can tell she has experience in taking care of people visiting the office and making sure you are in and out in a timely manner. All in all, the office is lively and a gem in an unexpected area. Worth the trip!

Manatee Dental has a Hygienist who must be working on a commission basis. Earlier this week she looked in my mouth and saw a Gold Mine. I have a history of visiting the dentist once a year and take good care of my teeth. I brush twice a day, use dental floss after eating and water floss three times a day. I don’t have bleeding gums or loose teeth. I asked for a routine cleaning and was refused. They laid out a program of three cleanings a year and Periodontal work. But no routine cleaning. I decided to go to another dentist and asked for my X Rays, they refused to give them to me.

5 stars are not enough for the service they provided. Dr. Garcia is truly an expert on what he is doing....explaining to the patient all the best possible option in a given situation.Vanessa is amazing. You can feel that she knows what she is doing.. and also the empathy to her patient. The office workers are so respectful and helpful to your needs. This office indeed has a wonderful team!

The people here were wonderful and my emergency visit! I broke a tooth, we are snowbirds and have no dentist in this area, and my dental insurance ended 10 days before. From the ease of scheduling an emergency appointment all the way through the dental work performed and services offered, I felt I was in wonderful hands! I had experience dealing with the entire office of manatee dental at college plaza. The ladies in the front, Jessica and Linda reminded me of my appointment and checking in at my appointment was fluid and absolutely effortless. I came into the office for a cleaning and 2 fillings. I first got my cleaning by Shannon and wow it was amazing!! She knew exactly what she was doing and she used a cavitron to clean my teeth, which was the first time I’ve had that done and It was painless. Next, I had my impressions done by Sara and I didn’t gag or feel any discomfort with that. She seemed really experienced and knew exactly how to make that experience easy and comfortable. Then proceeded to get my fillings done by Dr. Nahal and her assistant Vanessa. Wow! Let me tell you, they made my trip to the dentist incredible! I’ve never experienced such a PAINLESS and ENJOYABLE trip to the dentist! My first experience here at Manatee Dental at College Plaza was absolutely incredible! I’ll definitely be back!

Being able to give a dentist office five stars is huge coming from someone such as myself who has never, and I mean never had a good experience at any dental visits.... I am new to the area and knew that I was behind on my cleanings and checkups so I family member recommended Manatee Dental and I am so thankful that she did! My teeth had quite a bit of plaque buildup so I was already nervous going in, but Shannon who is a hygienist there reassured me that she would take care of me and she was with me every step of the way. She is confident in what she does, as she should be, as she was able to take care of the numbing and the deep cleaning that needed to be done without so much as a pinch of pain. She made sure that my mouth was fully numb before she started and wasn’t rushing to just get it done. Even now that I am home and the numbing has had time to wear off, I may be a little sore, but I could still have a steak for dinner if I wanted to and it wouldn’t hurt, which speaks volumes for Shannon‘s work considering in the past it has been days before I could eat after having just a simple cleaning! So thank you Shannon for all you do, Jessica for being such a great office manager, and Linda for working so diligently with my work schedule to get me squeezed in at a time that best suited me!

Manatee Dental Staff are professional, friendly, and helpful! My husband’s gums were swelling painfully around a back tooth while we were on vacation. The Staff worked him in. The Dentist spent time with him before he made his diagnosis. He was able to successfully treat my husband, offer further recommendations, and help us continue our vacation. The rates are very reasonable, and my husband now recommends them.

When the appointment was made, I specifically told them not to mention periodontal work, as I had heard this before. Upon entering the back, where all the patients are sitting back to back, the hygienist stated I might need to see a periodontist based on the X-ray she took. Then I was told the treatment plan was a crown at 1600. I called the office, asked for my films and cancelled the crown. Linda asked why, and I told her what I wrote above. The office is worried about HIPAA, they should invest in walls between the patients to prevent anyone hearing what is happening in the other 5 areas. It is an expensive clinic. Run, dont walk.

Every other dental clinic told me I had to wait almost 3 weeks to be seen and Manatee Dental took me in the very next day!!! I plead with so many clinics to help me. The pain was so horrible it brought me a 63 250lb man to his knees and couldnt sleep in weeks. It was effecting my job and I was so scared I couldnt work anymore. My boss recommended me here and Im so happy he did. This clinic is a God send. I felt no pain during the extraction of both my infected teeth and paid $300 less than anywhere else I went to. The other clinics told me $700 and a 3 week wait and Manatee Dental did it in one day for $450! If you have teeth pain and want a caring staff that knows what theyre doing then this place is it! I definitely understand why the reviews are 2nd to none perfect.Edit: My surgeon was Dr. Garcia and his nurse Vanessa 10/10

I was always greeted with a smile and a great smile was my final result. This place is amazing! They are very flexible around scheduling needs, they are courteous and patient, and all of the staff is so attentive and re-assuring! Very happy I found this place! I had an emergency Friday. I was a new patient and they got me in that day, actually saw me 20 minutes after calling them. I went into the office nervous since I no longer had dental insurance but was extremely satisfied with everything such as the cost of the procedure, the courteous staff and the dentist being very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

The company were great at first, I always inform the office that they should ensure services are approved by my insurance company before i attend. However, they scheduled a repeat service which wasnt necessary so the insurance rejected paying the $200 plus..now they want me to pay. I spoke to them about it and they admitted the error and they wouldnt bill me. I told them no because they shouldve ensure it was approved before I went in for routine work...trying to strong arm customers :(

Dr. Garcia and his staff treated me with great respect and I was confident in the skill and knowledge of everyone in the office!All my fillings and cleanings are done and have received my new partials. Having some adjustments done and will take some getting used to. I received the greatest of care at Manatee Dental on Cortez Avenue in Bradenton. Dr. Garcia and his staff we amazing. I was seen very quickly (a 5 minute wait where I was told I would live the dentist). They were friendly and efficient in their treatment of me. I highly recommend this dental office.

I had been dealing with mouth pain for about eight years and a number of dentists could not identify exactly which tooth was causing the facial pain. I called Manatee Dental yesterday because the pain had flared up and they were able to get me in right away. I showed Dr. Boss the tooth I thought was the culprit and he did an exam and took an x-ray. He did tell me he felt the tooth could be saved with a root canal but I told him I was so sick of the pain and just wanted it out. Dr. Boss was great! He is a master at giving shots and because of some allergy complications that I have, he stayed right with me while my mouth became numb and he extracted the tooth right away. This was not an easy tooth to remove but he kept stopping to give me a break and he made sure I was OK and that my opposing jaw was stable. He was very explicit and caring about post-op instructions and how to prevent post-op infection. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

This office is the best I have ever been to in any State I have lived. My husband had a severe tooth infection. Had never been there. They took him in immediately and the entire staff was friendly and compassionate as well as Dr. Garcia. The entire process was explained thoroughly to both of us including medications. I needed to call back later that day because my husband was still in severe pain. They immediately checked with Dr. Garcia and was told I could come and get a prescription. Dr. Garcia personally came out and spoke to me about the severity of my husbands condition. We were never told someone would call us back. We were given immediate attention. I will schedule with this office for myself now as I have neglected treatment due to the availability of good dentists in our dental plan. Was not aware of Dr. Garcia and so thankful for finding them. They deserve 5 stars or more. His receptionist girls are just as good.

Stopped in with a nasty toothache on a Friday morning as a walk in. Very friendly staff took me right in. Saw the nice doctor and she was able to prescribe relief and and recommend a path forward. Could not be more pleased. Saved me from a weekend of pain. I have a new dentist!

We had our first appointment with Dr Garcia yesterday. Staff was very nice and Doctor is wonderful.I have been in quite a few dental offices.The only thing I didnt like is in front office the flooring is dirty and the carpet was really dirty looking. The carpet doesnt need to be there. My father is in a wheel chair and caught it on his back wheels twice.

Very Expensive compared to other places I’ve been but they seem to be more thorough in their work. If that equates to better oral care over time it might be worth it. Time will tell.

Overall the doc and hygienist are good people that take good care of their customers. They also dont give me grief for not flossing. (See the 1st sentence for my token excuse.)

Recently I had an old crown break over a weekend. I hadnt seen my previous dentist for quite some time due to a couple bad experiences I had with them. So I found myself looking for a new dentist with an emergency broken crown. I did some research on-line and discovered Manatee Dental accepted a discount plan for those who cannot afford dental treatment. They were the only group that accepted this plan and that impressed me so I called. They were able to get me in that same Tuesday. Not only were the staff helpful but went above and beyond to help with my insurance coverage. And Dr. Boss was superb. He genuinely cares about what he does and managed to save the tooth (even though it had an enormous cavity!). And he did so without a root canal. The cost of his work was substantially less than I had been paying for my care previously, and the level of competence and care was beyond anything I had experienced in many years. In this day and age of greed and quacks its not easy to find someone you feel is honest and take pride in their work. But this staff does through and through. And that has to be because of the leadership of Dr. Boss. So if you are looking for a new dentist give them a shout. You wont be sorry!

My wife had a difficult tooth extraction.. Our dentist and his assistant made her and her husband very comfortable during the procedure. Before we left, our dentist and his assistant, prepared us for every possible problem we might encounter after surgery and the pain killer wore off.She had none of the problems she was prepared for and never even had to take an Alieve tablet. It is now three days after the event and you would think she never had a tooth pulled. Cant get better then that.

I fractured a tooth and needed to find a dentist. Being relatively new to the Bradenton area, I did not have a dentist and I quickly realized that most Dentists in this area do not work on Friday. I was very happy and grateful when Manatee Dental was not only open but was kind enough to fit me into their schedule.When I arrived, the physical offices were not as modern or well decorated as the dentist I had been seeing in another state but I learned a long time ago that you cant always judge the quality of the medicine offered by the physical environment,To make a long story short the damage to my tooth was more extensive then I had thought and Dr. Garcia, the Dentist that treated me, was as good if not better then other dentists I have been treated by. In a world where doctors have in many cases exchanged their passion for Medicine for marketing , Dr. Garcia was a serious, laser focused professional that still values doing the right things right. His care was thoughtful, skilled , pragmatic and thoughtful. I went in for what I thought was a filling and ended up needing a root canal and crown. Because I leaving the country on a business trip, Dr. Garcia, made the time to do the root canal and buildup so that I would not create additional damage to the tooth , be in pain or get an infection. In my experience, Dr. Garcia represents the best of what medicine used to be . His many colleagues could benefit from his example. Needless to say, you can not judge a good book by its cover. Manatee Dental, may not have the most upscale offices but they have whats important inside, high quality, professional , caring and efficient dental care and customer focused service.

I called with a jaw ache, fearing an infection, on a Monday morning, and asked to, if possible, be admitted the same morning, as I have an especially busy week at work.They were very accommodating and told me to come right in. I was there in 15 minutes, got seen immediately, got X-rayed and examined by the doctor right away. I was ok, it turned out, and have stress related tooth grinding, but what I want to share is that I was extremely happy with the care and efficiency of the staff. Ive been going there for going on 2 years now and have always been very satisfied.

Today was my first visit to the Manatee Dental office and I had a great experience. Dr. Jose Roque Jr was excellent. I was a little anxious so he said, I said I was VERY anxious.(haha...LOL) However he made me feel comfortable and relaxed, along with his assistant Vanessa, who was also great at coaching me on and easing my nervousness. I had a wisdom tooth extracted. They explained everything very thouroughly prior to. I WILL be returning to this office for my regular cleanings and recommending them (especially Dr.Jose Roque) to others looking for a good dentist.Thank you so much Dr Jose Roque Jr for making the time to fit me in before I had to go out of the country.
