I made an appointment to go to Parkwood Dental. It was over 3 weeks ago. They took x rays and schedule a cleaning. When I went to my cleaning, they were going to provide me with a treatment plan. When I was done with my cleaning, they all were at lunch. I called the following week and spoke to Carmen. We talked about insurance plans. She said, they would submit it for a pre authorization. She sent me an email with insurance companies they are working with. I have since called 10 times, an not one return phone call! I have emailed Carmen numerous times. No response. I called today and asked for the office manager. I was told she was not in. They asked for my number. Guess what. No phone call! They are incapable of returning phone call, or emails, or even giving you a treatment plan. Please dont waste your time going there.

Shockingly bad experience. Would use 0, if possible. Waited 3 weeks for an exam and cleaning..Requested minimal Xrays, they did my whole mouth. They refused to acknowledge or accomodate my health issues. They wanted to turn the the teeth cleaning into a major procedure which was unnecessary and therefore, run up the bill. The dentist appeared very green and inexperienced. Because I was questioning their procedures, they left me in the room, by myself, for about 15 minutes, to straighten me out. The owner eventually showed up in the exam room in her best bullying mode..Lots of game playing in there and narcissistic behavior. Not about the patient! I wasted over an hour in there..

THEY BROKE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTERS FRONT TOOTH! We had our first visit here and after we left my daughter noticed her front tooth was majorly chipped. We immediately called and went back, the only help they offered was a referral to a pediatric dentist to get it fixed. THEY BROKE HER FRONT TOOTH. 0/5 stars do not recommend. So unprofessional and honestly heartbreaking. Very disappointing.

Best dental practice experience my family has ever had. From our first visit 4 yrs ago to now, we have felt like family. The doctors and staff are so amazing. Highly recommend to everyone I know.

I have been going to Dr. Hernandez and Parkwood Dental for 11+ years… I have just had another great experience at his 26th St. office. I’m in the risk category for Covid so I have been away from the office for over a year!Dr. Hernandez Jr and his wonderful dental staff did a thorough exam and great cleaning. His office staff were so kind to squeeze me in and his business office staff gave me their first time patient special rate with my insurance came back not covering my claim. Great skilled care and great customer service! I definitely would recommend this office to take care of your family’s dental needs!!!

My daughter (15 & a not yet established patient) had an urgent need. They were so very accommodating and got her in right away. From the front office/management staff to the assistant to Dr. Hernandez himself; they were ALL extremely courteous, professional and efficient. I would not hesitate to recommend this office to anyone in need.
