My hygienist is very thorough and does a fabulous job. The entire office staff are wonderful as well. I also saw Dr. McAvoy. She’s precious the best.

Dr. Shelly McAvoy has been my dentist for several years. Over the past year, I have needed extensive amount of dental work, including several trips to a periodontist. Dr. Shelly had encouraged me to pull the trigger on the work I needed, but I put it off till last year. It has been a journey, but all I can say the results have been amazing. I am in the medical field, and I have been impressed with Dr. Shellys professional skills, her encouragement, her sense of humor and her gentle hand. Without her gentle nudging, I probably would not have done the work but the end results were beyond my expectations. I cant thank you enough. Her office is the model of efficiency, it is modern, clean and well organized. Her staff is amazing. Kudos to Ashley, her technical skills are beyond reproach and great sense of humor, I cannot say enough good things about her. Kathy, the customer service representative, made sure I got there on time and helped me with all my appointments and Nirvana who navigated all the insurance stuff that I cannot begin to fathom. Again, I cant say enough good things about the team of Cooper Creek Dental, the are truly rock stars in their profession!

Prompt and professional service. Appointment for follow up on gum treatment and cleaning. Previous treatment was for antibiotic implant in infected gums. It worked. Pockets of infection were no longer evident resulting in no need for a periodontist appointment.Great practice.

Staff is very friendly and helpful but I had to wait a long time to see the nurse and the dentist. Apparently there was an emergency (as always) but no one informed me until I had been waiting for 30 mins - when I asked if perhaps they had forgotten about me!After they took a whole array of X-rays I was left to wait another 15-20 mins until I finally saw Dr Mooney. So X-rays and an exam took 2 hours!Dr Mooney seems very good - thorough, clear and straightforward (and conservative - which I like). I have yet to receive any treatment so the jury is out as far as that is concerned but I am hopeful that future visits will be more efficient

A couple of Saturdays ago my husband woke up with a terrible toothache. He goes to see Dr. Shelly at Cooper Creek Dental . Ashley, A chair side dental assistant was the person on call. She was very professional of course and she always checked with Dr Shelly before giving any advice but her kind and sweet demeanor was what stood out to us.Even though we called her a couple times with minor questions ,about things that we wanted her to repeat , Ashley was still sweet and treated us like we were her own parents.

Ive been going here for years and am very happy with my experience. Dr. Mooney is thorough but never pushy. Another dentist told me I needed a old crown replaced but she said to wait and see as doing that might create problems. Sure enough Ive been fine.My insurance changed and I went to another dentist - huge mistake. They told me I needed that crown replaced plus an expensive treatment on my gums, both of which proved to be unnecessary. I am now back and seeing Dr. Mooney out of network - not expensive and well worth it since she doesnt overtreat. My hygenist Alli is friendly and remembers my peculiarities.Ive recommended this dental practice to others and will continue to do so.

I had an exceptional experience today. All precautions were taken for my safety and the liability of the dental office. I entered to find the hand sanitizer and a form to read and sign which gave me the opportunity to state my acceptance of the risks in proceeding with my dental procedure.The hygienist was new to me, but I certainly want her for the future. She cleaned my teeth with a minimum of discomfort, frequently asking if I were okay. She also had a careful technique with regard to rinsing and evacuating the water from my mouth. As usual, everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. I am thankful to be a patient at this practice.

I can not say enough about the care I received today from Cooper Creek Dental. I have been a patient there for over 6 years and have always received excellent professional care. My Oncologist said I needed a pre-radiation dental approval before I could begin treatment. I called Dr. Mooneys office and they had me come in the NEXT DAY for an exam and signed off on my approval form. Dr. Mooney and her staff, starting with Kathy at the front desk, were caring and as helpful as could be. I couldnt have asked for better treatment and the fact they got me in the next day was awesome. What a great team to work with at Copper Creek Dental. I went in for a broken tooth this morning, which Dr McAvoy cleaned up and put a beautiful filling in the gap. I was in and out in just over an hour. The professionalism and ease of treatment was second to none. If you are like me, a bit scared of dental procedures, then this is definitely the place to go for oral care. Having been going here for 5 years and it always seems like they treat you better and better. 5 stars!!!!!

My hygienist Shawna does a fabulous job, and I feel very confident in Dr. Anns checkups. Luckily, I have not had any major work done, so I cant review that. But this is where I would go if a time comes when I need more done. I referred a friend who had an urgent need for dental work, and Cooper Creek fit her in. You wont be sorry if you choose this practice.

My recent experience for a crown replacement was outstanding. Dr McAvoy and Erin did a great job performing a crown build up to save a severely damaged tooth. The temporary crown was strong and the final crown fits perfectly. The team at Cooper Creek Dental continues to exceed expectations.

Unethical billing practices. Presented me an invoice with covered insurance amount. I paid my portion of it at the time of visit. Later I received a bill for hundreds of dollars. When I called in they were rude and seemed too bothered to explain the charges. It finally came out that they went out of network since my last visit but failed to inform me of that on check in with full insurance verification. In addition, the invoices I approved that were presented at the time of visit were for in-network bills. So a bait and switch operation.

They are always on schedule and do a great job!

I have been dealing with Cooper Creek Dental for almost a year. I originally called because I was experiencing some sensitivity in a few teeth. I waited months to get in because Im a new patient to find out the only thing that is done on the first visit is x-rays and have a treatment plan printed up. They told me I had a couple cavities and thats where my sensitivity is coming from. A priority for them at the time was for me to have a cleaning. So I waited another 2 months for the first available to have that done. Fast forward a few more months. I call because now Im experiencing some more sensitivity and mild pain. The doctor is booked up and out of the office so I have to wait a couple weeks for a first available emergency appointment. I finally get in to the office and Im told that I just need a small filling, but its going to be another month before that can be done. I ask about the rest of the cavities and again the priority is for me to get a cleaning, but its going to be a couple months for first available. Im now experiencing some more sensitivity and a lingering pain. I call to see if the office can do anything to squeeze me in or if I can move up my appointment. Im told to go to the urgent care to get some pain medication until my appointment.

In a seven month period Id been to two dentists who could not identify the source of the pain I was experiencing in my lower left jaw. Dr. McAvoy and staff (notably, Ashley x-ray tech) spotted the problem as a cracked wisdom tooth. Referral to an affordable oral surgeon was so welcomed. The surgeon extracted the tooth in two pieces and Im now pain free again.

Our family LOVES Dr. Mooney and her staff!!!

Actually 0 stars will be more appropriate for my experience with this office. After waiting a week for a pain/problem appointment, filling out paperwork, waiting in the waiting room for a half hour-I was called back behind the front desk. I was then told that as the office was unable to confirm my appointment they would need to reschedule. They had 2 numbers on file, the second # the staff entered incorrectly, as I only have 1 phone, that I have had for 5 years! They did have that number on file, I was told they tried to call and my phone was disconnected, not the case whatsoever!! This is extremely poor business/practice. The woman that called me behind the counter was rude the second she called me behind the desk, as if already on the defense. All of the people in the waiting room heard this discussion, I walked out in tears.

Dr. Mooney and her staff are all friendly and professional. The office is clean, the receptionist greets you by name when you come in, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. I dont even mind going to the dentist anymore! :)

I had a balance of under $300 which I was making monthly payments. Without missing a payment they turned my account over to a collection agency. That was not needed as I was paying every month without missing a payment. If they are that desperate over such a small amount of money they need to re-evaluate there practice as they are not that good and are way over priced for the service they give. I would NEVER recommended them to anyone.

Dr Mooney is the best!

Unfortunately, when I bit into a piece of licorice July 2nd- the candy won and pulled off a crown on one of my molars! I called Cooper Creek Dental and they attended to my needs this morning at 11:00am. The staff reviewed my situation and Dr McAlvoy realized I had a greater concern that just cementing a crown. The good news : they are very responsive. I have 2 appts to schedule - 1 for taking impressions and 1 for putting in a new crown ( as the other one is damaged) Although I wasnt excited about the outcome , it is a positive one which will ensure good dental care and hygiene! From Ashley to Dr McAlvoy, I couldnt have asked for anyone to be more professional. This bump in the road, will soon be smoothed and all will be good.
