Whoever wrote the 5 star reviews for this place obviously didn’t spend much time there, before their loved one spent much time there. The move in process and sales staff are good, but what happens after that? While the place looks and smells clean when you walk in, there are more serious issues going on there. Turnover rate is over the top high, probably 10X greater than industry average. This was the most hostile work environment I have ever seen in 40 years of working. This spills over into the rotating door of help, and residents having money and valuables being stolen from them. Their is no one in “charge” on the weekends so it is a free for all. If you come in on the weekend you would likely hear loud employees, loud rap music, and food that doesn’t even resemble the menu for the day. A large percentage of the residents don’t even come to the dining room after breakfast on the weekend because they know it’s horrible, or the residents hand their plates back saying the food was so tough or dry they couldn’t even eat it. Management can be seen on any day out in the courtyard smoking!!

Mom (96 years old) became a resident of The Windsor of Bradenton in July 2021. From the first contact with this facility through move-in day, Phil (Sales Director) was caring, professional, knew our concerns before we did, and very responsive to every need. Dawn (Facility Director) and Betty, Sandy, and Eddie were awesome as they helped us understand policies and navigate move-in day and the first weeks into residency. The nursing staff, especially Jennifer, Nyesha, and Dominque have been equally supportive, helpful, and understanding to our nervousness moving Mom into an assisted facility home. The facility is beautiful, very well-kept, and clean. Moms studio apartment is lovely. Betty (Activity Coordinator) has welcomed mom into the Activities Center and been there for her every day to ensure a smooth and positive transition into this new life. My sisters and I have been impressed with everything thus far. We promote The Windsor of Bradenton.

As a former discharge planner and daughter , my family visited 4 different assisted living environments for my father. Dad was leaving his 55 and older community and facing a terminal illness, shortening his life. It was important to us that Windsor be prepared to their best ability , to help Dad face the next year with cancer. Although the pandemic challenges and staffing turnover challenged Windsor leadership, the employees responsible for Dads care were stellar. In addition, being a smaller building was quite good for Dad and for us. The admissions process, the fees and all pandemic restrictions were fair and compassionate. Dad only lived at the Windsor with support of Hospice for 5 months, but I can strongly recommend .

Phil in sales was excellent, as were all the folks I met, very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful to the max!!

I looked at several places in the area before we decided on Windsor. The staff is very friendly and caring. They know your name. The facility is very well kept. It was one of the few places that had a kitchenette. It provided a more intimate atmosphere which was important to my mom. They have really worked to engage her in activities. So far we are very happy!

My Mom stayed at The Windsor of Bradenton towards the end of her life. She loved it there. The people were so caring and she met new friends. She loved the food!!! We researched many places in Bradenton and this was the best we found. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely staff. They even went to visit her when she went in the hospital. Highly recommend it.

My first visit to The Windsor of Bradenton was to the Wired Up Wednesday, I enjoyed good conversation and toured the facility. I was very impressed with the staff, everyone was pleasant, it was very clear to me that customer service is top priority. The facility/building impressed me as well, it did not have the assisted living feeling that you sometimes get. It felt like home away from home, Welcoming. Plenty of events for residents to participate in, which I loved. If one of my loved ones should need assisted living, or even myself, I would not hesitate to consider The Windsor of Bradenton. Thank you for such a Welcoming experience.

The Windsor of Bradenton is the most wonderful place Ive ever stayed in. Its a home atmosphere where everyone knows your your name! Its very clean, and all staff is very plesant. The food is very good and you get so many extra things like mystery bus rides and a personal driver to appointments. I enjoyed all the people that live and work at the Windsor of Bradenton. I stayed there for two months to visit my son who lives in Bradenton and my hope is to return next winter for good!!! Everything was excellent. Joyce Owens.

Windsor of Bradenton is a great little community. Our Family put my Grandmother in this community. We liked the small atmosphere where everyone knows your name. She was not happy being here at 1st but the staff was so compassionate to her, she now calls the Windsor her home.

Toured today - what a lovely community! The Director has a passion for seniors, the residents were enjoying activities and later baking scones. The apartments are decorated nicely and the courtyard is something my mom will enjoy - looking forward to having my mom here!

They took good care of my father-in-law a few years ago and are taking good care of my father now. I highly recommend them. Mike.

Our entire family was very pleased with the treatment our Dad recently received at The Windsor at Bradenton. The staff was patient and compassionate to Dad and all of us. Kudo’s to Beth, Phil, Debbie, Betty, Regina, Juanita, Jalisa, Jen, and all. Well done!

The Windsor of Bradenton is a wonderful addition to our community. I recently met the employees Beth Widell and Phil Scrivner, and they were both friendly and informative. I highly recommend them!
