Much better than many other places I’ve been in other states. I’ve been here dozens of times. I’d park myself here when the time comes. Same problem with this place that every place seems to have. They are short staffed on holidays, trouble keeping the best employees working for them, etc. I’ve never seen a major issue like someone getting delayed care, mean staff, or an unchanged resident.

I have personally seen Tijuana Saladyga, LPN work. I recently had a loved one in her former facility. Her dedication and hard work were apparent from the moment I met her. She was attentive and caring. As sometimes happens in ALFs there were times when things did not go well. Tijuana was always truthful even if it meant admitting that there was a mistake on her part or that of the facility. She, however, did not put up with staff who did not perform well. It appears the young man who cant spell is a disgruntled former employee. He also posted a negative review of his former boss at Brookdale. Seems there is a pattern here and the source of the review should be considered. Unfortunate that people can leave bad reviews even when there is no truth in them.

They have hired a new health and wellness director here by the name of Tijuana. I have worked with her previously at other facilities and she is the worst kind of person to have working in a facility that is suppose to help people take care of themselves. She is extremely careless, rude, and she is abusive. She is a terrible leader and if she sees a problem in the facility she will be the first person to turn a blind eye. I have personally witnessed her lieing about incident reports to the face of many family members. Any faculty she works in is a facility that condones abusing the elderly because I have seen her definition of health and wellness.

Visiting my 97 year old Grandmother and was extremely pleased with how kind and gentle the staff is! They were playing brain games in the dining room and insisted that my Gram joined tomorrow. They went as far as making sure the receptionist called my Gram for a reminder tomorrow! Spacious suites and very clean! Gram is very happy with the meals too! Refreshing to see!

The staff refused to help an elderly lady who was unable to walk. I am a cab driver and I picked the lady up at manatee memorial hospital, when I got there it took about 10 minutes for the young lady to open the door and when she did open it , I asked for a wheelchair to and we are not supposed to touch anyone,its a liability against our company policy and the young lady said IM NOT HELPING HER- SHE CAN WALK and it broke my heart. P.S.: TO THE YOUNG LADY, THIS COULD BE A LIVED ONE OF YOURS, PLEASE BE PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUR JOB AND NOT JUST THERE FOR A PAYCHECK.

I would be very careful of this place, they do not respond to a clients help button. There were so many ants in the apartment that you could see them crawling on the floor, even after multiple request to spray they never did anything. As a visitor being in the room for any time they would crawl on you, I cant imagine what a resident had to but up with.

Its nice to hear that they are treating my grandmother well. Nice place, clean, organised.
