Lisa is very diligent in making sure residents are properly cared for. I did some work at her facility awhile back and all the residents were happy ,healthy , having a good time with each other with lots of smiles. This facility is one of the last of its kind standing on two feet, for good reason! I would recommend one of my own family members to Cortez Care! Thank you Lisa for all you do..

If I could give zero stars I would. Lisa is a crook who has been very unfair to her workers and residents. She probably will come here and reply to this review with some rude comment that shows her character. I am unsure how she is still in business with her unethical and neglectful practices here at Cortez Care. Please don’t place your love ones here and find another assisted living facility for them. This place is filthy and the workers unfortunately not due to anything in their control can’t watch and give your family members the attention they need.Hope this helps someone.

Ive worked for Cortez Care and Lisa, the owner, is a very caring and compassionate person that focuses on quality of life for all her residents. They are of the utmost importance to her. Lisa always treated her employees well. She was one of the most understanding and nicest employers Ive ever had. Im sure I would still be working there if it wasnt for my mothers cancer diagnosis. I would return to work for her in a heartbeat.

I have been an employee of Cortez Care for 21 years. The owner,Lisa Bryan has been in business for 32 years. That speaks for itself. She has always said everyone deserves a nice place to live and she stands by that by providing a safe, clean,happy place to live for the residents. Her caring and compassion for people is evident. Lisa holds her staff to high standards. If they dont treat residents with respect she lets them go. Its a shame that unethical former staff can post negative reviews. If anyone comes to see the facility they would be pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness,great food and smiling faces.

My father was at Cortez Care for many years.I am happy to say that even during his lifetime of deteriorating health I was comforted by the staff taking care of him.All of the residents were happy at Cortez Care. I would not hesitate to place another family member there or recommend them to anyone looking to place their loved one in a happy, safe, clean caring home. Family atmosphere is great at Cortez Care.

Lisa Bryan is the owner of Cortez Care. She is a very dishonest person in simple words a crook. Lisa stole money from her employees and other people working for her providing services and repair. After agreeing on a certain amount she refused to pay and got the work for free. She has done this several times. Dont trust her with your loved ones. She is a thief. Does not pay her employees not pays contractors/workers agreed money as per contract.

If one of the residents from this home doesn’t stop growling at my dogs when he passes my house daily, I’ll call the cops. My dogs are in my back yard and he walks by on the sidewalk and stands there and growls loudly at them and not for a few seconds either. It’s quite disturbing and it scares me. My husband has told him to stop and so has my son, but he still does it. This needs to stop!

This place is ridiculous. I called and spoke with Lisa regarding my Aunt. She claimed she was concerned as well and informed me my Aunt was no longer there. She claims my aunt was only there for a day and a half when she’s been there since the last week of May!!!!! When I told her about the reviews, she kept going on about how it was from people who were fired (discrediting workers and patients). I tried to cut her off and told her I was only concerned about my aunt (who made the same exact complaints) and she hung up saying she doesnt need that kind of disrespect. Mind you, I spoke to her like an adult. She focuses on the wrong thing and tries to make herself seem innocent when she’s not! She calls me back and threatens me, telling me I better take down my review. What kind of place is this?

This place is filthy and the owner is despicable, don’t place your family here.

Lisa is a kind and caring owner, she works very hard for her residents, she is an owner/operator, try working in her shoes one day, not easy!!!
