I love working here! The staff is all friendly, and the Executive Director as well as the Health and Wellness Director are the best you could ask for! Definitely make residents seen and comfortable.

The staff at Point West are very friendly and welcoming. They have always treated my aunt like family, and I am comfortable knowing she is there.

The administrative staff is wonderful and very caring.The nurses and caregivers are great. They just need more help as does every facility that we have ever investigated. They do a super job given the amount of work they are asked to accomplish.The surroundings are lovely and very relaxing.

This is my first on line review. I had to use my daughters review post because I am not tech savvy. My mother developed dementia and we could no longer take care of her at home. We looked at several places before we picked Brookdale and we have been so happy with our choice. The administrative staff is great in answering our numerous questions. They have always promptly returned all calls.The true heroes are the staff. They work non stop, getting my mother up. dressed and fed. They wash her and change her pull up numerous times throughout the day. They keep her engaged. Last week they even had a pool party for the residents. Every time I go and visit, they know who I am and who I am visiting. They know exactly where my mother is and tell me how her day has been. Words alone can not express how happy and lucky I am that my mother is at Brookdale.

I visited the facility with a family friend to visit her mother, who resides there. I normally try to stay away from ALF centers because they make me sad, but this was not the case. As soon as we walked in, I could hear laughter from some of the residents sitting in a little sitting area. They were all of good health and having a genuinely good time with one of the workers. Another worker was walking around nonstop asking the residents if they needed anything and making jokes and having a good time. If a person has to be away from his or her family, its nice for them to have such a loving and light-hearted atmosphere with their second-family.

Very clean community! The staff is excellent and really show that they care about the residents. The residents are all happy and lively! Would definitely recommend this community to everyone!

WORST place to work !!!!! I wouldn’t recommend a FLY here .. co workers MESSY AND LAZY . Drunk employees and nasty dinning services!!! Residents fall and they cover it up . Workers come to work drunk and they KNOW about it and sweep it under the rug . No takes the blame for anything !!!! Nurse KNOWING left 1 employee in building on New Years because she didn’t want to miss being with her husband ! (ALWAYS SUPPOSE TO BE 2 PEOPLE IN BUILDING) ! Activities Director LAZY AND ALWAYS ON A CIGARETTE BREAK , NEVER do ANY activities with residents ! Just sit them in front of a computer screen and play this GOD AWFUL MUSIC ! Residents are barley changed or treated with respect or care they need ! Nurse STEALING RESIDENT PAIN PILLS ! 1 resident has a urine bag , NEVER EMPTIED nor do they wipe when resident poop (all in their vagina) !!!!!! It’s horrible !!!!! And check the closet on D hallway ( the stash of whiskey is in there “IF” they haven’t found a new hiding spot 😉 take your love ones SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!!

I wish I could give a negative rating, they dont deserve 1 star. This place looks great when you walk in, but beware of leaving your loved one here! They dont change their depends, Every time I went in to check on my mom her depend weighed 10 pounds, guess thats why she had such a bad UTI it turned septis. O, not to mention that after I had been out of town for a trip only to return to my mom smelling so badly, I ask a nurse to check her chart to tell me when she was showered last...12 days!!!What!!! Many times I was in and her sheets smelled liked urine, I took them home with me to clean after that happening to many times. I only left my mom in here 2 months, that was 2 months to long. She passed away 2 weeks after I got her home. I regret so much every putting her in here! DO NOT put your loved one in this place! This place should be shut down!

Very immature unprofessional staff. Lots of unethical behavior and activities being done in place of caregiving.(lots of residents rights being violated) Director and lead nurse get drunk on the job....its the brookdale way

I like working at Brookdale.

This place was a great place to work because I loved the residents so much they were awesome! However when you have an E.D that doesnt take covid seriously and risked not only her staff but also our residents that is dangerous and should be considered negligence. Residents not only got sick with Covid but several died. She doesnt care what anyone says or thinks its her way or the high way. I had to quite my job because she was letting the sick residents hang with the healthy ones and stated well theres nothing I can do about it we are all going to catch covid . She told me to take a Xanax my E.D told me to take Xanax because I was concerned with our situation.
