Made my Dads last days very comfortable. Staff was very professional, friendly and empathetic.
My beloved partner was perhaps minimally conscious for the last hours of his life when he was transferred to this facility. He was placed in a small room with a man who was agitated and who coughed loudly and continually with all the attendant disturbing noises. I pleaded with the personnel to move my dying partner to a place in which, no matter how insensible he was, would allow him some dignity and his family a peaceful farewell. It took several hours for them to comply with my request (the nurses are having a meeting) and my partner died within an hour of the transfer. I am angry and horrified at the callous treatment afforded him, and at the cruel indifference of the staff.
