I have been going to Dr. Patrician for years now and he is truly the best! Ive seen him for routine cleanings (lovely staff), fillings, bonding, and an extraction. Most fun root canal I’ve ever gotten! Dr. Patrician is literally the coolest dentist ever and the office doesn’t feel like a torture chamber (as is the case at most dentist offices). The atmosphere is casual and I was not shamed once for needing significant dental work. Also, the staff run this office like a well oiled machine. I am confident he and the team will make my mouth great again.

We recently moved to Boulder from New York. It can be stressful to find new doctors. My neighbor recommended Boulder Dental Arts. My husband and I both went and loved it. All the equipment is state of the art. The staff are all super warm and friendly. I get anxiety when I have to have a cavity filled, so they gave me a warm weighted blanket to help me feel relaxed. The drill did not hurt at all and the whole thing took less than an hour. On the way out the desk staff went out of their way to give me a box of special floss that I use. Dr. Patrician is awesome. He treats people 18 and older but when I had some questions about my 14 year olds teeth he was happy to discuss with me. Im so happy we found him and I highly recommend him.

This place is awesome. Super friendly, encouraging staff. Very relaxing environment with dim, spa-like lighting and music to keep the chill vibes. Cutting-edge modern technology (including a 3D tooth scanner that removes the need for x-rays).I just turned 26 and had to switch insurance, and sadly they dont take my new insurer, which means I have to leave :( Think about that...Im actually SAD that I have to leave my dentist. I have been a patient for 6 months, and have been very pleased with the services and attention received from Dr Patrician and his staff. He is personable, professional, and skilled. I feel the same way about the different assistants and hygienists that have assisted in my treatments. Two things in particular stand out - I recently had a veneer come off that had been placed by another dentist outside of Boulder about 3 years ago. Despite its being a Friday evening, I received a call back from Dr Patricians office manager on Saturday morning asking whether I could come in over the weekend to have it re-seated. I greatly appreciated this. Second, I had an issue requiring an extraction that predated my being a patient of Dr Patricians, and was worried Id need to be referred to a specialist for the extraction. Dr. Patrician and his team assured me that they could handle it, and they did an excellent job both with the procedure and my post procedural questions and care.Also a compliment to his business management team - Ive had no issues with my dental insurance claims, and Ive been worked into schedules when I needed to reschedule or travel for work. Very professional.

You have yourself a fabulous hygienist in Ozzy! I have had problem teeth for twenty five years and he is the first hygienist in all of those years that has been careful yet very thorough with a good sense of humor. I will go to him every time.

I just had my initial appointment and have never been treated more personally and attentively than by Dr. Patrician and my hygienist, Ozzie. Ozzie took a ton of time being meticulous and talking me through what he was seeing and what I can do to help myself. In the middle of things, Dr. Patrician sat down and talked to me for 7-8 minutes about nothing that had to do with my teeth. He just asked a bunch of questions about where Im from, what I do, what brought me to Boulder, and told me a bit about his history and background. Only after we finished chatting did he examine me. He used some pretty amazing technology in which I could view a video of each tooth as he examined them in real time. I spent an hour and a half at the office and it went by like nothing. Im so glad I found this place because I HATED the practice I was using since 2013. It involved an endless rotation of new dentists under the same monolithic banner. Im looking forward to my 6-month check-up. This is a dental practice worth patronizing if youd like a personal experience with medical and office staff who seem happy to actually work there.

This might be my best dental experience of my life. Beautiful decor, low lighting, latest tech....I mean the dental chair gave me a frickin massage! Ive lived in Boulder for over 30 years and Boulder Dental Arts is the BEST dentistry practice Ive ever experienced. Jeff, Kyle and the crew are incredibly personable, warm, and skilled. Jeff wouldnt settle for anything less than perfection and proceeded to have not 2 but 4 crowns made, so that they fit just right. Then he topped that off by charging me only for 1 crown! It seems like without much consideration of a second opinion of an Endodontist they signed me right up to schedule a root canal. I decided to get a second opinion from a professional that isn’t driven by money he had zero concerns and was confused on the recommendation that was given to me. I recently went to Boulder Dental Arts to have an implant placed after losing a tooth. I was extremely apprehensive, as Id never had a piece of metal literally screwed into my jaw before, but everyone in the office put me at ease from the moment I walked in. It was really nice to see the team interacting with other patients in the office like they were all old friends - and they made me feel that way, too!After filling out some paperwork while sitting in the coolest, most comfortable chairs Ive encountered anywhere (let alone in a medical office - I seriously want some of these for my living room), I was almost immediately taken back to start the process. The dental assistant was bright and cheerful, which helped calm my nerves, and she gave excellent direction on what I needed to do and what to expect while images were taken of my jaw.After that, Dr. Patrician showed me the images of my jaw and explained what he was looking for and how it helped him choose the appropriate implant for me. At that point, it was time to actually get to work. Im sure I must have looked really nervous; Dr. Patrician asked me what kind of music I wanted to listen to while he was working - he put bluegrass on for me! The nerve block I got was by far the least painful Ive ever received; after that, the entire procedure flew by. I had absolutely no pain at all during the procedure, nor afterwards, after the nerve block wore off.Everyone in this office obviously loves what they are doing; the entire experience from the moment I walked in until I left was fantastic. Aside from being obviously and extremely competent, Dr. Patrician was warm, funny, and engaging, and I will absolutely return for to him for my dental needs in the future.

Beyond the pleasantries and customer service, every step of my visit impressed me from the highly skilled dental technician who stopped to explain what she was doing every step of the way to the dentist himself who uses the latest infrared technology to show you the health of your teeth without damaging X-rays. As a fellow small business owner Im blown away by how much they have invested into the best equipment and making their patients feel at ease in a welcoming environment. I wont be visiting another dentist while I live in Boulder.

Going to Boulder Dental Arts was the best experience at a dentists office I have ever had in my life. I had decided to go there because they had advertised a great offer on Amazon Local for a routine clean, x-ray, and all of the other basics. However, that was hardly the best part! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted not only by the sweet receptionist, but also by Dr. Patrician who was in between patients and recognized that I was new. He came over and sat and talked with me and was genuinely a very nice person. I felt at home immediately and was offered coffee and other refreshments before I went in for my appointment, which didnt have me waiting long at all! The staff was amazingly thorough and after having my teeth x-rayed, Dr. Patrician told me what he would do if they were his teeth. I never felt like he was trying to sell me a bunch of fancy upgrades or unnecessary procedures. I got the most detailed teeth cleaning of my life by the most knowledgeable and passionate dental assistant I have ever met. She was explaining what she saw and why she did everything she did while being very gentle. I have never left a dentist office feeling like I had a good time and cant wait to go back! Dr. Patrician made sure to be kind to me in every way especially when it came to sending me home with a water bottle full of goodies to help keep my teeth and gums in their best shape!You need to go to Boulder Dental Arts no matter how great you think your dentists office is now because its not!

With all the horror stories I hear from friends who have had unpleasant experiences with dentists, I cant tell you how grateful I am that I found Dr. Patrician and his staff at Boulder Dental Arts. I had to have a crown put in for the first time and I was a little nervous that it would be painful but it could not have been easier. The temporary crown was a good fit, with no issues during the week it took to have the permanent crown created based on the shape of my tooth -- the technology they used to do this was really impressive! Placing the permanent crown was quick and painless and its almost as if nothing changed. The fit is great and the color matches the rest of my teeth. Ive been very satisfied with the quality of care and happy to have found a dentist I can trust.

Dr. Patrician is the best dentist ever. I first went to him with an agonizing toothache and he rescued my rotten molar. He has fixed me up with an implant and several beautiful crowns. He works swiftly and surely and explains what is going on. He uses the latest technology. For example, if you need a crown, he uses a tiny camera to take hundreds of pictures rapid-fire from many angles. Software synthesizes those pictures into a very accurate 3D digital model which goes directly to the dental lab. No more biting into trays of goop! If you make an appointment, Dr. Patrician reserves time for you. He doesnt overbook and keep people waiting around. Since he respects your time, in fairness you have to do the same and get there on time for your appointment. Dr. Patrician is a great guy. His staff are always helpful and cheerful. I couldnt be happier. I actually enjoy going to see my dentist!

I have been using another dentist in the Boulder area for the past few years. I know Dr. Jeff Patrician from the gym we both belong to. I knew Jeff was a dentist and had intentions on using him in the future. One Friday afternoon at a new job I broke one of my crowns. I called my regular dentist but he told me he was going to a concert that evening and could not see me until later the next week. My next thought was this would be a good time to see Dr Patrician.. Also, at this point I had just changed jobs, my previous dental insurance was not in effect and my new insurance had not yet began. I told Jeff this and again he said to not worry about it. Jeff got me into the office on that Monday where he placed a temporary crown. I tried to pay him some money that day but he said again to not worry about it. Jeff ordered the crown and placed it the next week. I paid him a small amount with the agreement that I would pay the rest of the bill over the next few months. My wife went by his office to pay on the bill but Jeff said we did not own him any money and that he just did it to help. I was moved to tears upon hearing this. For Jeff to help my wife and I out like this is above and beyond anything I expected. Bottom line is this, I will forever tell anyone who will listen this story and further Jeff and Boulder Dental Arts will forever be the dentist for me and my family. Thank you Jeff your a good man!!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Boulder Dental Arts. I recently moved to the area and needed to find a dentist. Dr. Patrician was booked up for a few months for an initial appointment, but when a cracked tooth started acting up, they offered to squeeze me in right away (after hours, no less). Ive now been to the office three times - once for the temporary crown, back for the permanent crown, and once more for a cleaning. I was so impressed by my first visit that I wanted to leave a review right away, but made myself wait until everything was done so my review would be more complete.Boulder Dental Arts checks all the right boxes, plus a few extra. The office itself is very nice - it looks more like a spa than a dental clinic, decorated in stone and soothing colors, with comfortable furniture. The exam rooms are spotless and the technology and equipment they use are state of the art. But the people that work there are what really make this an outstanding practice. Dr. Patrician managed to put together a truly top-notch team. Every single member of the staff exudes competence and skill at their particular job. I feel bad singling out individuals because they are all incredible and Im afraid Ill leave someone out. So Ill single out Dr. P, since hes the ringleader. He works with impressive speed, but definitely does not sacrifice quality for quickness. Hes just that good. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on with my teeth, and even showed me the problem using some of that advanced technology, so I was crystal clear about the diagnosis and the treatment options. They were equally transparent about costs and insurance coverage. To reinforce my good feelings about their transparency and straightforwardness, I walked out of my crown procedure without a root canal after Dr. P saw that it wasnt needed after all. I havent had a single issue with the crown since it was placed a few weeks ago and the procedure itself was (really, and I mean really) quick and surprisingly painless. My recent cleaning was equally impressive and the most thorough Ive ever had.Boulder Dental Arts is doing everything right. This is how a practice should be run. Friendly, highly competent, efficient, welcoming, and caring people that actually appear to be having a great deal of fun working, somehow without sacrificing professionalism. Everyone is so happy you cant help but enjoy yourself. At the dentist. Who would have guessed? I would recommend this practice to family, friends, everyone. My spouse and my sister are patients of BDA as well, and since we all have nothing but glowing things to say, my mom is currently attempting to switch her dental insurance so she can join the party. Went here based on the good reviews; very surprised and unhappy with the service I received. As a new customer, called to schedule a routine teeth cleaning (I just moved here; was getting cleanings every six months like clockwork for the past 10 years). Receptionist said they should be able to get to the teeth cleaning on first visit, but might have to book additional appointment; this sounded odd right away. Showed up to appointment, got x-rays by dentist and was refused teeth cleaning as I needed much more work done than that. I was told I would need teeth scaling done to the tune of $400 (WITH insurance), set up for another appointment, and sent on my way. I googled teeth scaling. It is usually reserved for people who have severe gum disease and for dogs. I am neither. Promptly canceled next appointment. The whole experience at Boulder Dental Arts was just plain weird. Will be going to a REAL dentist next time that employs dental hygenists that will actually clean your teeth when thats what you ask for.

Ive been a patient at BDA for 3.5 years, and I can honestly say Ive never received better care at any medical office. Im that person that didnt go to the dentist for 10 years; the shame was real. I walked in (during their lunch hour without an appointment-- dont do this, I was not in my right mind) after I cracked a molar, in tears, embarrassed at my lack of care. In between an anxiety attack, ugly crying, and desperately trying to breathe through my nose, Doctor sat me down, consented me, and proceeded to take care of me right then and there. Who does that? I had a long way to go after that- about a dozen fillings, deep cleaning, later an implant, and every step of the way, I was compassionately and thoroughly cared for by the whole team. I sincerely look forward to coming to this office, and I refer everyone I can here.

So, I’m here to tell you that going to the dentist can be not just fun, but really fun! I have really enjoyed my visits with this trio -- what a great team! They are riotously hilarious and literally make me laugh out loud! While exemplifying the utmost in professionalism, these are the types of people I would be honored to hang out with as friends. The office is beautifully designed and appointed, and the dental chair faces a wall of glass with phenomenal views of the foothills...really, the view is 100% conducive to meditation or getting lost in a daydream. I had an issue with an old crown when I first came to see Dr. Patrician, and he, Deseree, and Logan advocated on my behalf. Deseree is welcoming, efficient, and organized. Logan and Dr. Patrician both have a gentle and skilled hand. Even while scraping and suctioning, they entertain with witty repartee. The good doctor just seated my new “rock star” crown today -- the fit is perfect! Having moved to Boulder just a couple of months ago, I am elated to have found such a wonderful dental practice!

Dr. Patrician took me in ASAP for a cracked molar. With no pain, he had me good as new! Excellent experience!

I had a tooth with a hole in it that eventually cracked and was causing me a great deal of pain. I noticed that my wisdom teeth looked pretty bad as well. I hadnt been to the dentist in 17 years and I didnt have insurance, so I was a bit nervous. I showed up to their front office and it took only a matter of seconds to get started (I did all my paperwork online which was great). I found out that it was in my best interest to get all of my wisdom teeth pulled as well. I hesitated because I had already looked up some ball-park figures on what that would cost me, but l waited while they cranked their numbers and was amazed at the cost of having all 5 teeth removed (I was able to pay it in full that day!!). I went for it and decided to do it all at once.Dr. Patrician apologized for being a bit goofy, but was extremely professional and his humor made me feel less anxious as every second waned. All of the equipment was state of the art (mind you, I havent been to a Dentist office in a while) and everything was very comfortable. I assumed this was going to be kinda painful and that it would take a long time. I couldnt have been further from the truth. It took (maybe) 45 minutes and I didnt feel anything. In fact, when he told me it was over, I was surprised it was done. I followed everything on their printed care list and had only a little irritation.It is now four days after the surgery, but outside of a little soreness in the jaw (should have iced it, but it felt fine and wasnt swollen) I feel great. I cant imagine many other things in my life that I would be this anxious about, that ended this perfectly!

Fantastic office, excellent dentist and staff. After years of searching for a great dentist in the area, Im happy to have finally found one. The care is first-rate, friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. I just had a root canal here (the result of a botched filling from a previous dentist) and experienced zero pain during the procedure. The rates are a bit higher than in some offices in the area, but you really do get what you pay for in dental care. I suffered for years from sensitivity around poorly-done (and perhaps unnecessary) fillings. Go here and youll get the right care in the first place!

I went to Boulder Dental Arts today for a cleaning, x-rays, and check-up. Id been procrastinating finding a new dentist after moving to Boulder, as I assumed it would be a) very expensive (I dont have dental insurance) and b) hard to find a new dentist that I trust. After my visit today, I wish I would have gone sooner (something I never thought Id say about going to the dentist)! Dr. Patrician is an excellent dentist supported by an outstanding team (Logan and Desiree). He, Logan, and Desiree went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and to explain everything during my visit. On top of the entire offices professionalism and friendliness, the cost is very, very reasonable. Ive found my new dentist!

Boulder Dental Arts charged me at time of service based on an estimate, including a charge for a procedure that they knew they had only a chance of doing. They failed to both notify and refund me for the $200+ they overcharged me after my provider responded with benefits. When I called asking for a refund they did apologize, but immediately followed it up with uninterrupted minutes of tirade defense, including that a manual human-based process is the best way to handle differences in balances, that this particular human is fantastic at the job, that the hour of day when the EOB was reviewed may have contributed to the miss, that they normally undercharge rather than overcharge (despite evidence to the contrary in the optional procedure charge), that they prefer to wait and communicate refunds at next appointment (if/when that exists), etc. This individual was unable to handle a dry/condescending (but completely calm) tone of voice which was given in response to their explanation (I had not asked for and did not care to spend time on their excuses). Their tone of voice in response to dry condescension was not calm and got increasingly hysterical every time I communicated back that my opinion of their service was unchanged despite the information/defense they wished to communicate to me. They did not agree that holding money over time is potentially beneficial to them and harmful to me. When I asked how much are you planning to refund? (so that I could compare/check against the EOB) I was told to listen again to the reasons why they overcharged. I had to ask the same question twice and explain that I was looking for a quantitative response and I was not asking for any sort of qualitative commentary. This call involved a lot of silent listening to answers to questions that had not been asked. They were profoundly defensive and frankly angry with me for their failure or angry that they did not succeed in persuading me that their process is good. Getting angry at a patient for your inability to convince them that you are actually a better service provider than they evaluate you to be is both odd and counterproductive.

Top of the line high tech facilities, very friendly professional staff and Dr. Patricians personal touch make this the best dentist in town

There is nothing more sleazy then medical practitioners that care more about money than the continued health and safety of their clients. I was given a timeframe in which to get the crown done for a root canal that had been outsourced to another practitioner, not before a certain time and not after. Boulder dental arts was unable to schedule me during that period, I understand that busy schedules happen. What I do not understand, and find appalling, is that Boulder Dental Arts refused to make a suggestion of another office where I could have the procedure done. That your business cares so much more about making the money off that visit than to make sure that I remain in good dental health is absolutely trashy and disgusting. You might have lost some $$ by giving me a recommendation for another dentist for that particular visit. Instead you 100% lost a client, and earned this nasty review on every platform I can find.Thanks for being your unapologetic trashy selves, catch you on the other review sites.STAY FAR AWAY AND GIVE YOUR MONEY TO DOCTORS THAT HAVE GOOD PRACTICES!!!!!

They are very good at reminding you about appointments and keeping you on schedule.

Please dont cancel appointments, and when you do (things come up!) have the decency to at least tell us.

Boulder Dental Arts is hands down the best dental office I have ever been to. Possibly the best in history. Everyone at BDA is smart, nice and take pride in what they do.Jeff removed my wisdom teeth, repaired a botched extraction job I had in FL, fixed my tied tongue (no joke, that is a thing) all without complication.Patricia, the RDH at BDA gave me the cleaning of a lifetime and it didnt hurt a bit. Which is strange for me because usually its the worst part. She was so knowledgeable and taught me how to brush correctly for the first time in my life.Going to BDA to get dental work done is something I honestly look forward to. As long as I live in Colorado, Boulder Dental Arts is the only place that I, or my friends and family will go!
