I wrote a very long, detailed review of this dentist which received an incredibly unprofessional reply from the staff - its since been removed and replaced by 3 stars with no content. Interesting. I wouldnt recommend this dentist to anyone - each of my experiences here were unpleasant. This dentist scheduled me for procedures that would have cost over $700 out of pocket. I didnt go in and found a new dentist. My next dentist felt these procedures were completely unnecessary. They also push products on patients from floss to WaterPiks. 0/10 recommend.And yes, I did apologize for losing my cool, literally. This isn’t a new profile. My original review was removed. I hope people see the ALL CAPS reply from this business an realize the level of customer service is lacking. I’m not trying to slander anyone, but leave an honest review of the business.

I’ve been coming here for a year now. I have to admit I am a person that just has a fear of the dentist so I have to mentally prepare myself before ever going into any procedure. Boulder Premier Dentistry has some how helped me over come this fear over time! Dr. Daniel is one of the most informative, knowledgeable, honest, and hard working dentists that I have come across in Northern Colorado. Last year I had some dental work done from another associate dentist who is no longer there and the fillings were done incorrectly. I had only met Dr Daniel once so I didn’t know too much about him prior to going into my last cleaning. Dr. Daniel informed me of the news about having to replace the fillings which I of course wasn’t happy about given my fear of the dentist but Dr. Daniel was incredibly honest and apologetic and most of all accountable and said he would fix the issue, but what I was most impressed with was he took photos explaining what needed to be done and where the decay was still sitting and why they had to be replaced. So for me it showed a great sign of trust and integrity towards the care of his patients.I had the fillings redone today, Dr. Daniel replaced the fillings himself and the whole time was very attentive to checking on me asking how I was doing throughout the procedure to which honestly I didnt feel anything and the anxiety factor wore off pretty quickly! I highly recommend this practice as I also speak very highly of his dental assistants as well, as he runs a very well trained, knowledgeable staff, Great, fun personalities, and good front desk. I highly recommend Boulder Premier as it goes above and beyond for the care of its patients!

I went in to have a crown reset. I had had the crown for 35 years. Simple straightforward procedure. Reattach the crown yes??Technician time, dentist time…. Let’s say they charge $75 an hour for 30 minutes worth of work. One hour minimum… 150-175 tops.$274 !!!And didn’t even offer to try and bring me back for anything else

Everyone here is very nice and compassionate. I’m usually terrified by my previous experiences elsewhere. I have had nothing but the absolute best experiences here and will never go anywhere else. Dr. Kyle is the best dentist I have ever had and has very gentle hands. He actually cares about his patients and really goes the extra mile. The hygienist Nikki rocks. All of the staff is very sweet and helpful. 11/10

I have avoided going to the dentist for several years due to fear of dentistry. I was greeted professionally and was seen right away. I was first introduced to John who was so kind and compassionate. He made feel at ease with several x-rays and an odd looking machine. Kyle came in for my consult and was informative and reassuring. It was a start to what will probably be a series of treatments and I will be returning feeling much more comfortable than I’ve ever felt in a dentists office.

Talked me through the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. Seems like they have the latest and greatest tools and the staff is very friendly.

They are ok but every time I go I have to wait about 20-40 minutes to be seen. If you are comfortable with accepting that this kind of delay will be commonplace with both your cleaning visits and your regular dentist visits then you will probably be satisfied.

I have been going to Boulder Premier Dentistry for roughly 3 years now. My experience has been flawless and extremely affordable for me. This is a world class dental team. If you are going to get your teeth clean there ask for an appointment with John. John is an amazing person and one of the nicest people I have ever known, from the first day you go there you will feel like you have known him for years and on top of that he will clean the hell out of your teeth and let you know exactly what you need to do to keep them clean. If I had never been referred here by a friend my teeth would be in really rough shape right now. They have helped me tremendously. Dr. Daniel is a world class dentist who exudes confidence and is never rattled. He has removed one of my wisdom teeth and has done multiple fillings for me. Never once was I in any serious pain from any of these procedures and every time I have left feeling good about both the care I received and the bill I had to pay. Dr. Daniels assistant Enrique is excellent as well. You can tell they are excellent at their jobs here and they make a great team. Unfortunately I am leaving the state soon and I dont think I will ever find a better dentistry experience than I have had here. I am grateful to BPD for the care they have provided me. I’m having a lot of extensive dental work at the moment & Dr. Kyle is so competent, knowledgeable, kind, caring & someone I really trust. His staff is also the best. I’ve spent many, many hours in the chair at his office (with great views) & know I’m in good hands.

I had some awesome experiences when I did go here. Its been over a year and I still get random invoices for 100$ with no descriptions or services for them. Thus, the reason for the 2 stars. I called them once before about one and they had no record of these coming to me or in their system. How does a company send out blank invoices asking for money without even knowing it? Its obviously a fluke, but if it goes to collections- then Ill seek legal advice. Id be wary going here because they might try and send you these as well- years after your visit.

I am very pleased with the aesthetics and quality of the professional services performed by Dr. Kyle Daniel and his staff. AVOID.. front desk lady janell is super rude and very unprofessional in all respects.. honestly don’t know how she is able to keep her job.. thought dentist was nice at first until i underwent treatment, he said he was conservative and now i realize he doesn’t know what that means..he was rude to his staff and immediately performed work that he said was absolute last resort because he was too busy juggling multiple patients at once to remember what he says or conversations with patients.. cement was left in mouth after crown placement, went back for removal and dental assistant immediately started being super defensive (as if in fear the dentist would ream him verbally later) while waiting for dentist to fix mistake two dental assistants stood there complaining about other staffs work and the fact that dentist made her clean all the exam rooms..(during height of covid btw). i was then charged for them to fix their mistake which was very insulting especially after a razor blade was used and i ended up with cut up bleeding gums…i was also told i had periodontal disease and needed frequent cleanings to maintain. i was told by hygienist i didn’t need to see a periodontist even though i asked multiple times. both dentists there also told me i had cavities in between all my teeth and a cracked onlay that needed a crown replacement..i was told no one performs onlays anymore and that my previous dentist did a terrible job putting it on..recently went to another dentist and they can’t understand why i was told i had periodontitis and has told me i have no cavities and no crack in tooth... i now assume the work i had done by daniel was over treated, heavy handed, and unneeded..i regret coming here..after reading other less than positive reviews i expect a snarky response from the dentist….which will only further demonstrate their true character

I was a patient at this office in June 2018 - I went for some routine dental work (fillings/cleaning). My initial experience with the office staff was great. Dr. Daniel was professional and explained each part of his work.My issue came after my visit. I moved out of Colorado shortly after my appointment. I was told by the office my bill would be submitted to my insurance company and I did not owe anything at that point. Fast-forward to April 2021 when I received a bill from a collections agency with an almost 50% interest accrual. Apparently my insurance claim had been denied and the bill was sent to my former address “numerous times” with no response. While I would have gladly paid the balance in full, I was never notified of the charges. At no point did the office staff make an attempt to call me (my phone number had not changed) and notify me of an outstanding balance. Meanwhile the bill was accruing significant interest and the late payment has now threatened my credit score. To this point, I have never had an outstanding bill with any other company.Fast forward to today 4/12/21 when I tried to call the office for a second time (my initial call was never returned) for clarification on the whole matter. I spoke again with Janelle, who was nothing but rude and unprofessional. She could not provide an explanation as to why I was not contacted in the years between or after the initial denial from my insurance company. She only stated that “once your account is with collections, we no longer deal with it.” In the middle of the phone call, she HUNG UP ON ME while I was speaking - presumably because she could not give me an answer and did not want to deal with me any longer. When I tried to call the office back my call was ignored. I have left multiple voicemails requesting a return call and have yet to hear anything from Dr. Daniel or his staff.This office was recommended to me by a friend and I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and professionalism (or lack there of) that was demonstrated by Janelle. I will confidently not recommend this company to any of my friends that still live in the Boulder area. There are just as competent dentists with far more pleasant office staff and professional business practices.

I had some urgent dental needs and could not have asked for a better experience. Dr Daniels staff worked me in to his busy schedule within two days. I spent hours in his chair. I really enjoyed most of the staff and doctor there however billing and overpricing definitely made me have a dissatisfied experience. I had to get a filling and cleaning done in which I thought they ran through the insurance and it came back good however I get a call a week after my appointment stating that I would have to pay out of pocket. I think they should implement some pre approval from insurance before going forth with a procedure because had I known I would have had to pay out of pocket I wouldn’t have done it considering I could find a cheaper place. There is also a lady janelle at the front desk who has always been rude when I would call or come in and even my friend who goes there has had the same experience with her. All the other staff members and dentist were great and I enjoyed my experience with them! I think if they were to improve the billing section of the office this would be a top of the line dentistry clinic!

And I will be 90 years old in 7 months.The office staff were super courteous, considerate and knowledgeable about billing and scheduling. I just got back from getting two cavities filled and I’m writing a 5 star review...... that says it all! Dr Danielle and (I can’t remember the name of the dental hygienist who also helped, Michelle maybe?) were so great! I was very anxious about getting cavities filled for the first time in more than 10 years and Dr. Danielle and his team reassured me every step of the way. He was also very kind when I told him I was scared. The hygienist was funny and we talked when we could which helped take my mind off things. I highly recommend Boulder Premier Dentistry for anyone who wants a thorough and positive experience.

Doctor Daniels is a pushy and rude. He aggressively suggests dentistry which is unnecessary. He does a poor job with his dentistry (my fiance needs a root canal one year after his work failed). He has terrible bedside manner. He treats his hygienists with disrespect.

Dr. Kyle and the team at Boulder Premier Dentistry have done a wonderful job taking care of my teeth and mouth health. Unfortunately I neglected my teeth for several years. Went in for some much overdue work and repairs including a root canal...prep for 2 crowns and an extraction that lead to a bone graffe. Editing a previous 5 star review.My experience at this dentist was not all bad or all good. My last experience was bad but over the years I had good experiences.My hygienist was awesome but he left this practice. My biggest complaint would definitely be the billing practices. The lady that handles insurance tells me with confidence that something isn’t covered by my in-network insurance company. She stated with confidence that I only get one emergency visit covered by my insurance company a year. I get the EOB weeks later and the visit was covered. They didn’t call or send an email letting me know I overpaid or refund my overpayment, they just keep as a credit on my account for future services.On more than one occasion, I had fillings and permanent and temporary crowns fall out. The last time my filling of 4 months fell out, I made an appointment to get it replaced. I called and they told me they could get me in a few days later but when I got to the chair, the dentist said he didn’t have time to do a thorough job and wanted to use permanent material but do a temporary job. At the time (in the chair) I was ok with it and agreed but then when I was leaving they said they couldn’t get me back in for 10 weeks. The replacement filling fell out during the 10 weeks I was waiting for the permanent job. I wish I would of known on the phone that they were fitting me in for a temporary job for a filling. I realize temporary crowns are standard practice but getting a temporary filling and then being charged the same as a permanent job was frustrating.My advice to this dentist and practice would be to improve on your billing transparency and communication.Once again, my experience over the years wasn’t all bad or all good. I had some very good experiences over the years here but my last one was bad. Also my hygienist left so it was time to find a new dentist.

Boulder Premier Dentistry helped me get my oral health back on track. I go to the dentist every 6 months, but my gum health was never great and I found my teeth while I slept. They have helped me tackle excess plaque and protect my teeth while I sleep.

I went there to get scans for an invisalign several months ago. They took my insurance when I got there and when they billed me, they did not run the insurance and charged me for all of it. Every time I call the office there is a woman who says she is dealing with it then they hang up on me. Several months later I still have no word on my scans or the over charge.

Dr. Daniel and his staff are courteous, clear about treatments and costs, and very detail oriented. Dr. Daniel found and treated a difficult to spot problem with a previous root canal done elsewhere and was able to fix it and relieve very intense pain. His assistant Enrique is excellent as well. Becky is a wonderful dental hygienist. Front office staff are very nice.Follow up (June 2021): care continues to live up to the designation of “premier”. Dr. Daniel is still providing top level care along with Enrique, Sharon, Janelle, and Aly. They’re all excellent!

I brought both boys in for their first cleanings and ortho planning appointments after moving from the East Coast, where theyd had the same dentist their whole lives. They both were pleasantly surprised by the friendly hygenists, and host of other staff who got them thru their appointments. Administrative help was also tremendously easy to work with as well for setting up new accounts. COVID procedures in place seemed solid.

His staff are warm and informative, his techs are astute as well as able to make you giggle (which is a hard thing to do at the dentist!), and Dr. Daniel is just an overall honest, intelligent, and benevolent guy. He wont charge you for procedures you dont need, but hes realistic with you about making sure youre taking care of your teeth & gums, and works with you to make sure that you get the best care. Dr. Daniels did my first cavity filling. I didn’t know what to expect at all from the process and wasn’t informed much about what was going to happen. I was told I had dark spots on my x-ray and there was some level of tooth decay, but the full extent would be uncovered when the drilling began. I get that he probably does about 100 of these seemingly minimal procedures a week and that it’s no big deal to him but for a first timer I was apprehensive that I really had a cavity and a little nervous. We talked about having one or two numbing shots and we agreed on a strategy. I was asked to open my mouth for for what I thought would be a quick look but found myself with a needle in my gums. I was totally not prepared for that and didn’t even have my head all the way back against the headrest. After about 20 seconds, much longer than I thought I would have to fight the urge to move, swallow, or breathe deeply, a pain and then instant numbness shot up the side of my face. He pulled the needle out as I worriedly reacted to the strange stimulus. He explained he hit the nerve on accident and I would be numb there too. I was pretty upset about not being prepped for the needle, especially if it was going to last that long. I tearfully chided Dr. Daniels that I had never had a cavity fill before and would like to be walked through each step so that I knew what to expect and needed him to communicate better with me. He did not take the feedback well and got defensive. From that point on I didn’t trust him to ensure my comfort and safety through the procedure. I felt more like a car getting its oil changed than a person, much less a person paying top dollar for this experience. The procedure did go smoothly and I have no doubt that his work is good but his bedside manor is lacking for my taste. After reading more reviews of this place it seems I’m not the only one to have cried my way through an appointment.The staff is wonderful, the office is attractive, the dental hygienists are highly qualified and I don’t have to wait forever to be seen. It’s too bad that I have to wonder if I want to go back to this dentist.

Ive had an awesome experience with Dr. Daniel and his team. The team is professional, competent, and kind. Dr. Daniel is a true professional---Im in the chair with complete confidence that Im in expert hands. Hes clear, concise, and honest. Overall, a great fit for our family. I started coming to Dr. Daniel’s practice a little over a year ago and quite honestly it’s the best dental experience I’ve ever had. The office is bright and comfortable, the staff are welcoming and so nice, and the hygienists very skilled. Dr. Daniel is also very skilled, and conservative - he’ll never recommend something you don’t need - I trust him with my long-term dental health. I’ll never go to another dental practice!

Ive been a patient here for three or four years I came in search of a more hip, personal, and competent dental office and I found it here!From my very first call, Ali is great at the front and knows the ins and outs of insurance billing questions and is absolutely straight forward about costs, timing, ...everything. The waiting area is clean and comfortable and provides a non-dental feel, which is comforting.In the clinical area, the dental care is great. Jon is my favorite hygienist: affable and instructive in a non-critical way. Dr. Daniel has always been great at reflecting treatment plans for me and my family that reflect my priorities and goals. If you need a new dentist office, look no further.

I went to Boulder Premier Dentistry for a dental implant. I was impressed with their technology. They do all the necessary scans in house and use 3D scanning and printing to help with implants. Their use of technology makes the incision as small as possible, helping with a quick recovery. Dr. Daniel did a great job and I will be going back to him for any future dental implants.

Dr. Daniel is a rare find. I was in Boulder, CO, from Washington state and developed a lot of pain in my mouth. I knew it was a tooth that perhaps needed a root canal. I called him and left a message, and he called me back immediately and was willing to see me that night. I saw him the next morning, which was a Saturday, and his treatment relieved my pain and allowed me to continue my family visit in Colorado. His willingness, expertise, and treatment was such a relief, and I am most grateful.

Everyone was so thorough and made me aware of what was actually going on with my teeth. They show pictures of their progress and any issues they are looking into. Everyone was also super nice and made me feel welcome and valued.

All of the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. Their friendliness, as well as the decor and setup of the office, helps you to feel more comfortable. When I had to have a pretty serious cavity filled, the dentist took a lot of time to explain the procedure to me, and he also talked through what he was doing as he was doing it, which helped to distract me and also keep me informed about the procedure.
