Boulder Sage Dental is full of awesome, upbeat, knowledgeable, professional Dental technicians and Dentists. The front desk is warm and friendly, and easily finding insurance-accounts, etc.My cleaning was amazing and Renee was the best. Dr. Emery is a talented Dentist and just a super nice, happy, communicative human. Talk about girl power! The rest of my family-daughter, son and husband now have appointments this month. So great-highly recommend.

I am very upset and disappointed with this practice. I came as a new patient for a routine checkup with some discomfort near my right jaw. I received an extensive treatment plan that included many procedures. In order to schedule a Treatment they request a $50.00 cancellation fee that is refundable or deducted from the actual treatment. The cancellation fee can only be reimbursed by check in the mail 6 weeks later. This was not disclosed upon payment. I decided to receive a second opinion the Dr. Did not see the extent of treatments medically necessary mostly replacing a few faulty fillings. I left this office feeling very uncomfortable with the policy. I was informed that I will have to wait 6 weeks to receive 50.00 in the mail even though I payed with my credit card just a couple days ago.I was informed that they have no other way refunding clients only by mail.

Wonderful staff and quality care! Dr. Pratt, Caroline, and Paige are all very kind and knowledgeable. I was scheduled at late notice, even while they are very busy and had to come back for some fillings. They still saw me same day and the whole procedure was super easy and took less than 45 min. I’m happy to say I will be coming back for routine care!

I was looking for a new dentist after moving back into town just for a routine cleaning. Sage had an awesome new patient special with ex-rays and cleanings. Parking was easy, everyone was very pleasant at the desk, I filled out the paperwork and was seen right away. My hygienist was lovely and so was the dentist. I have only positive things to say. I will be going back here for my next cleaning.

These guys are the worst, they have lost some of their better staff and the business office sent me notice that I owed them for a service performed 4 years earlier, when I was not even a patient of theirs and the current owners were not my dentists, I have asked for info regarding the alleged service but nothing... because....the business office has never returned a phone call- go anywhere else, it will be worth it

Once you get taken care of, from The Sage Dental Crew......you never want to go anywhere else!The cleanings are better. Dentists and staff are so down to earth, you feel like your at family. All was great, except for the loud country music. Probably less than .01% of Boulderites listens to country music. It was rough. In terms of dentistry, however, I recommend Sage!

In general I have good experiences here. Our dental hygienist Carolen is the best. Today 8/4/21, I had a very bad experience with the receptionist Megan. There were problems with my insurance and she was extremely rude. She added more stress than needed to a stressful situation. Otherwise, everything has been great with you guys over the years.

I am very pleased with the dentist and dental staff at this office. Its very evident that they care about their patients. They have always been very conscientious about doing high quality dental work--including crowns. I have been to dentists in the past that did not take the time to make sure a crown fit well, but the dentists at Sage are very meticulous about the fit and will make sure they get it right. Also, I have never known of another dental office that guarantees a crown for 5 years--yet they do. 5 Stars!

Best dentist I’ve been to in Boulder after 27 years. Not too pushy, high quality cleanings, and they take Medicaid. Really happy I found them, and my hygienist Carolyn really puts me at ease and makes me laugh.

Rachel was my dental assistant that helped me with my general cleaning this morning, and helped establish me as a patient at this office. She was insanely thorough, super helpful, and very sweet! I believe the employees here are all very nice, understanding people. I would definitely recommend checking out this dentist office, especially if you are a new patient! The process for getting set up here is really easy, and it didn’t take too long for me to get an appointment in. Overall, I had a great experience and will most definitely be returning!

I had a chipped tooth repaired here and it came off in a week. Probably would have helped if the actual dentist had done it but they had a hygienist or something finish it. I guess they where just to busy to do it correctly.

The folks at Sage Dental are so kind. They made sure I felt comfortable, listened to my concerns, and took the time to discuss solutions, plus they do great dental work! Would highly recommend for folks with dentist-anxiety. They also recommended a fantastic surgeon to remove my wisdom teeth last year. Their reminder service is top knotch so I never forget an appointment. They are up-front about costs so there’s never a surprise bill.

MEDICAID!!! yup, they take it. Super grateful for that. Parking on Pearl wasnt as bad as I anticipated, 2 hour parking was close by right on Pearl St.. The lady did a great job cleaning my dirty teeth, it had been well over a year since my last cleaning. I feel like she put in some extra elbow grease to clean em real good. I didnt exactly enjoy getting my teeth scraped but I felt cleaner than I usually do after a dental cleaning. She also was really nice and seemed to love what she does for a living so extra points for good vibes! :)

This is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. My wife and I scheduled new patient appointments for January in October. We showed up and they didnt have us on their schedule. They were able to reschedule later that day, so we stayed with them (bad idea). They wanted me to come back 6 weeks later, and when I came to my appointment, again it was not on the schedule and it was rescheduled for 2 weeks later. One day before my next appointment they called and canceled it and said they didnt have enough hygienists (my wifes appointment at the same time was not affected and there was another person seeing my hygienist atthe same time). I decided to change dentists after that, 6 months later I got a $218 bill for the appointment that they canceled. Their billing department is just as bad as they are at keeping appointment! 1 month and about 5 phone calls later and nothing is resolved because every time you contact them their system is down and they cant see anything about you! The dental care is ok; the rest of the experience has been a nightmare.

Ive been going here since before it was Sage Dental Care, back when Dr. Hulse ran the show. Ive witnessed this place change hands, change staff, change almost everything. Yet I still walk out every time feeling very positive about my experience inside. The people are always kind and seem to really know what theyre talking about. I myself have moved to a different town but I still drive up to Boulder just to go here, and I will continue to do so.

Everyone was professional and caring. The office was modern and efficient. Loved it all.

I had yet another excellent experience at Sage Dental Care. They were quick to get me in when my tooth broke, and the dentist and dental assistance were both attentive and sensitive to how to approach the repair. I was in and out in no time with a plan moving forward. I appreciate Sage Dental Care’s professionalism.

Dr. Grewal and staff are very friendly, professional and caring! They were very accommodating and able to get me in quickly. I felt very comfortable and appreciated how they clearly explained everything for me.

My boyfriend had his Wisdom teeth removed here, they wouldn’t heal and he was in so much pain for about a month. When we would call and do fallow ups to find out why he was in so much pain they were clueless, they just kept saying they didn’t know. We went to get a second opinion from another dentist only to find out it was dry sockets. Pretty disappointing that they couldn’t tell us that.I also went here for my Invisalign treatment, my dentist was Dr. Schmidt who is now gone. She was great but they really screwed me with my post Invisalign retainers. They sent me my retainers without the required pontics needed as place holders for some gaps. They clearly need some more training there.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went to get some fillings done and left with a painful mouth. Not just for a day but for over a month. I kept coming back to get my fillings adjusted but unfortunately the dentist continued to ruin my teeth. Now I am seeing doc Larson.If I could go back in time, I would never step foot in that office. After 3 to 4 times of adjustments, I think it’s safe to say that the simplest dental procedure cannot be done here. I have no idea how this place still stands.

I have been a regular patient of this Lafayette practice for 8 years. My first visit was via a Groupon coupon but they now offer a great new patient deal just by calling the office. Over the past 8 years I’ve had 5 crowns, 2 fillings as well as regular 6 month check ups. The staff and hygienist have always been friendly and professional.The practice was sold last year after the senior dentist retired. I was a bit concerned about the “new” people. Then in April I had a very painful cracked tooth that required another crown- in the middle of the pandemic.That’s when I met the new owner Dr. Brett Broda. He allayed all my fears with his wonderful chair side manner and did a great job on the crown- apparently they guarantee their crowns for 5 years!Importantly, all the staff abided by the State guidelines for safety.

I love Sage Dental! The dental hygienist Marion is probably the best I’ve ever had. Gentle and thorough yet super informative. I learn something new about caring for my teeth every time I go in for a cleaning. I would highly recommend this practice and Marion in particular.

I go to the Boulder branch, and my doctor has always gone above and beyond to help me feel comfortable in the chair and to provide the best care possible. I love it here and have been going here for years. The staff is super nice and the dentist was able to give me a filling that’s super hard to do - per other dentists. I come every 6 months for my cleanings and am a about to get a crown. They offer good whitening strips too. I might be weird but I find it relaxing to come here.

Today was my first visit to Sage Dental. I had an excellent experience with them. Everyone was friendly and they got me in right on time. The hygienist was very gentle and did a really good job. Dr. Crossley examined me and explained why I needed a filling. I am very satisfied with the care I received.

SAGE DENTAL CARE replaced an old crown that was very difficult to remove, and caused problems in getting a clean replacement crown. I saw two different doctors and both were highly skilled and so were their assistants. My final doc there, Dr Pratt , whose attention to detail was admirable, got the job done , and I have a beautiful new crown ! Well done. JM

The lack of professionalism and consistent turnover are what makes Sage Dental a 1 star dentist. Call for an appointment today so they can hang up the call mid conversation. If you are lucky then you might get one scheduled only to have it canceled the day before because the specialist is off that day.Good luck running a business not even a sage can save you at this point.

Everyone from the front desk, to the hygienists, to the dentist really showed that they were interested in me. A 30 minute consult / second opinion lasted one hour and they were not watching the clock, just making sure that all my questions were answered. I wound up switching from another Dental practice over to Sage!

Ive had several sub-optimal dental experiences and have never been a regular at any dental office. So hats off to Dr. Schmidt! She listened to me and made me feel comfortable. And so did her staff. She earned my trust and provided a pain-free experience. Thanks you guys!

Timely and professional are two of the good qualities of this dental office. I’ve been a customer for a while and will continue to be one for years longer! In particular, I recommend Marion the hygienist if you can get into her jam-packed schedule!

I have waited a long time to write this review because I wanted to be certain that my evaluation was fair and that my frustrations were valid. I am now going on week 10 of continued dental pain and issues. It took approximately 5 appointments for me to receive 4 fillings and two crowns (for three of the appointments I drove 2 hours from Wyoming. On one of those trips for crown placement I found that my crowns were not there - they did reimburse me for my gas but I planned an out of state trip AND my start date around that appointment only to find I would need to rearrange everything to make another date work). I will say the front staff were all accommodating and friendly, and the lead dentist did apologize profusely, but my experience was pretty frustrating, and still painful to this day. During my appointments for crown prep I experienced pain in the process, and was told for approx 30 minutes that doc will be in to numb you as she continued working while I was physically jumping from the pain. Since my time at sage I have needed 2 additional bite adjustments, and a root canal on a tooth they placed a filling on. I did flag the severe pain I was experiencing to the hygienists and dentists at Sage only to be told pain can linger months after a filling - they didnt do nerve testing to see if I needed a root canal (which it turns out I did) and I spent 4 unnecessary weeks in extreme pain because I trusted their word. I am still in pain. Still experiencing sensitivity and I have a fabulous dentist now who is working endlessly to alleviate my pain. I HATE leaving bad reviews, and I am not one to complain - I just think this experience from start to finish has been a completely frustrating process. I think if you are someone with no dental issues who just needs a routine cleaning this place is fine but I would seek a second opinion for any recommendations they make on work to your teeth.

I have been goiong to this dentist for several years, but when under previous management and now under newer management. I have always received excellent treatment, although most of the dental work I needed was semi-annual routine teeth cleaning. My impression is that then as now they are methodical and thorough.

These folks are friendly, fun, and exceptionally accommodating. I switched to Sage two years ago having moved to Boulder and recommend them to anyone I meet looking to switch as well. Sage Dental is amazing! I called on a Thursday afternoon and they were able to accommodate me right away so I could been the next morning. Dr. Bourret was very thorough, gentle, and super kind. The hygienists were really great and friendly as well. They have a nice $55 special for new patients if you dont have insurance, too. Definitely recommend coming here!

I started going to Sage Dental last year and I love it. They only recommend work that really needs doing now. Charlotte cleaned my teeth today, and she was super patient answering all my questions about all things teeth related. Oh.. parking is really easy here, but dont forget that it is pay parking - i missed that the first time, but got lucky.

Sage Dental always takes such good care of me. Marion is my hygienist, and she is gentle, kind, thoughtful, and very experienced. Ive had some scary experiences before I found Dr. Terry + Dr. Schmidt, but since Ive been in their care, Ive been able to put some of my dentist fears to rest - both of these doctors are beyond EXCELLENT. I love the front desk staff, Ive commented to them on how cheerful they always seem to be (clearly a happy place to work!) So many smiles. I am also impressed with their super efficient appointment reminders/check ins- such a great thing to have ongoing for dental visits and it really helps me keep track.

Recently having lots of teeth trouble I have beeen to this dentist office 4 times in the duration of a month and have experienced almost all of lovely dentists. I have always been terrified of all sorts of doctors office visits and the staff at Sage Dental in Boulder made every visit more comfortable than the last. I was so fortunate to find such a wonderful dentist office! Upon arrival the receptionists are consistently sweet hearts. They get you in right away, and always make sure you are comfortable. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed in about an hour (3 hours ago!) and the surgeon was so quick and sufficient and dealt with my anxiety with care. You’ll love everyone you meet here! Especially Clair who adds her own special touch and remembers and acknowledges everyone in a special way. 5 star dentist! Check them out !

I had an 8 am appointment that I booked over the phone a week ago and when I showed up for my appointment they told me that they didnt have any record of my appointment. I have been on the fence about giving this place another chance as the last cleaning I had was very uncomfortable as the person doing it smelled of cigarettes. The cavities I had filled where done well even though the Dentist literally pulled up in her car and walked into the appointment at the time it was supposed to start (that made me pretty nervous). The window from the dentist chair I was waiting in looked right into the parking lot. The proximity to my house and the simplicity of not having to fill out new patient forms at a new place encouraged me to give this place another try. Now I know better and will look for a place with a more professional and reliable staff.
