Alice has been cutting my familys hair well over ten years. Her haircuts are always perfect. I know that I will always be pleased when I walk out. That was not always the case with high-priced salons. The advice she gives for haircare is spot on. Wouldnt go anywhere else. I am often asked who cuts my hair.

Went in and got a haircut late afternoon..it was only ok. Went back the next morning to get it fixed. Kimmy was able to fix it and make it look AMAZING (wasnt the one who did the original cut) She was so nice and pleasant and this was right as they opened. Shes exactly why I would come back. Because of her the wedding photos will look awesome. Thank you

They were interested in getting through the waitlist & leaving for the day. Churn & burn through any/all haircuts. It was 3 hours from closing & they rushed my wifes cut. Simple trim with layered side fringe & a side shave. Couldnt do it. The trim is fine. The layered fringe had to be fixed by a different salon, thats right we had to go somewhere else AFTER to get it fixed. The side shave line looked like Michael J. Fox did it post Hollywood retirement, we gotta get back to the future so we can go somewhere else for a haircut Marty.Bottom line, they were polite but they didnt care what you looked like after you left - cause you were leaving. Quality haircut? Nah. Just do it yourself - save $ & itll look better. Or go here & lower your expectations.

We went in for a child angled haircut and the staff chopped off about 8 inches of my daughter long hair and did not angle it. Now her long hair dried is above shoulder length, the first photo is what we asked for, they did not charge us, got defense and hurried us out, now she had to go to school with short short hair, so very sad, please be careful here!

These are hit and miss. Sometimes you get. A great stylist (who is friendly and knows what they are doing) and sometimes you just don’t. We have been to several locations and most are clean, organized and efficient. Definitely recommend doing the online checkin, if you don’t want to wait long....

Both stylists whove cut my hair here have been super nice and done a great job. Its now my go-to big haircut chain location in Boulder. Waits can usually be avoided if you check in online.

I came for a haircut and I was pleased with great level of customer service from the front desk to the stylist.However, I took two stars off because you could tell that the stylist was totally not familiar with cutting thick wavy/curly hair like mine and left my hair in a bad shape (uneven spots) compared to before. Keep that in mind when deciding to get a haircut here if you have a similar hair texture.

Pretty basic, consistent cuts. Unlike the Supercuts, they seem to be able to keep their staff. Many have been working here for years. Reserve a slot online, their time estimates are often way off though.

Ive been entirely too busy to take the manager Danielle up on it, and in fact lost her number anyway, but I wanted to at least publicly update this. Customer service is really important to me. Thank you Great Clips.

Lowest price around for a college student like myself, easy online check-in, and exponentially better than other Great Clips I’ve been to. Definitely rather go here for a reasonable price and be able to leave an adequate tip than breaking the bank just to get a haircut. I’m not a fussy customer, but never have any complaints here.

Last-minute haircut. 20 dollars for 5 minutes of clipping. It seemed like they were most interested in getting me out the door before 6. Bad haircut and poor service for a premium price.

You get what you pay for but sometimes you get a little bit more. Make sure to go when its not busy and they take much more time and care. The staff is super friendly and my haircut only costs $19. Also you can check in online which is nice.

Great prices, great cuts. Especially when you wait as long between haircuts as I do. It threw me off, the older age and appearance of my stylist, but she gave a great haircut in 20 or 30 min. Sometimes they have a long wait so be prepared. Id go here again.

The worst haircut I have ever had. Did not notice how bad it was until I got home and my hair dried. Who cuts sideburns above the top of the ear?!? I had an easy request and it turned out terribly. Do NOT get your haircut here or you will probably regret it.

Its a hit or a miss depending on the hair stylist you get. I have had good and okay experience to be honest. But its located close to me and gets it done for me. I dont really fuss about my hair anyway. Could get crowded and would recommend online check-in.

After reading some reviews, I decided to go and see Kimmy, who seemed to be very popular in the high reviews. What can I say? I felt welcome the second I walked in and there wasnt a horrible wait time (10-15 min), and Kimmy talked to me the entire time. She was so friendly and mad sure I was okay with everything she did. If you need a haircut, this is the place to go! Thank you Kimmy!

About 1/3 times I go theres quite a wait, but if you use the app, it shortens it. I gotten my hair cut by most of the stylists and I have been satisfied every time

Roxanne is the only stylist I trust with cutting my long hair. I see her every few months for trims, and she doesnt cut off more than you want. Shes a great listener, and Im impressed with her attention to detail. Ive been seeing her since I moved to Colorado and highly recommend her! I always love my results.

First of all the hair dresser Shanna was great. Supper friendly and nice.The hostess however was not. I signed up online and when I got there I saw my name on the list and went and checked in. She kept trying to get a phone number or something for an account. I told her I didnt have an account and just wanted to get my hair cut. She was very agresive and started to raise her voice and seemed to only care about whether or not I had an account.

Very nice and quick. She helped me do a drastic change and made sure it was what I really wanted. It turned out better than I expected!

Dont bother with their online check in, it lies. It said 30 minute wait, I came in 30 minutes later, my name was at bottom of list and I waited another 30 minutes. Prices are same as much better trained barbers. So... No advantage here.

Ive been a regular for all 8 years Ive been in Boulder. Not all the cutters are good, but the good ones are great. Once I find one I like, Im very loyal. Unfortunately, sometimes they disappear, then I have to cross fingers for a while. I miss Mercedes, bit for now Im very happy with Alexis.

I had one of the worst experiences getting a haircut and its made not want to get my hair cut ever again from great clips, and its weird for me to say that after getting my hair cut with them for nearly 20 years.I went in to this location today and I presented some pictures of how I wanted my hair to be cut, my stylist said she couldnt cut these straight lines because she didnt have a styler. Fine, I realized I could go home and do it myself with an electric razor, which I did and it turned out just like the picture. She could have used a regular electric razor that stylists use for cleaning up the neck area.But she also said she couldnt cut my hair the style of the picture because she couldnt tell how to do it. Mind you, I showed her multiple pictures too. Ive never had a hair stylist say that to me, and even if they cant cut it like that, they will work with me to get something similar. I had to tell her, ok try a different style and lets see if it works.I was already mad because of all this, and when I went to pay I decided, Im not tipping because Im really not satisfied with my haircut. I signed my receipt and before I left, she told me to make sure I put in the total, implying, Dont forget to tip me. That was the last straw, and thats why Im reviewing this location today.Ive never had a stylist not try to work me on a haircut, say they couldnt do something that I end up doing myself, and then forcibly imply I needed to tip them even though I was already ticked off.And because of this stylist, I will never come to this location again, nor another Great Clips, and I will make sure to tell my friends and family never to come here again.

Been getting my hair cut at this location for 5 years. I never need to request a specific stylist as they all do a good job. Some are better than others but never had a bad cut here. No complaints at all!

I worked with Theresa for the first time last week and she was hands down the best stylist I have ever had at a Great Clips (and I’ve been going to GC for years!). She was extremely friendly and very patient with how picky I was (and am) when getting my haircut. I live in Denver but will no doubt be back to Boulder to have her cut my hair again and again!

First time in & it was great! The environment was clean & tidy & the stylists were friendly & professional.

Hi I hope this email finds its way to a manager. I had a hair cut yesterday (07/29) at the Great Clips in Boulder on Arapahoe and I was extremely disappointed with my stylist Roxanne. The haircut was nice, however, she was very rude to me and it was very clear that customer service was not her strength. I asked her to please cut about a 1/3 inch from the top and she responded with ummmmm okay, and how much is that in cm, then she would make *sigh* noises when I asked her opinion on what looked better and told me I just get frustrated when customers do not know what they want. Finally she responded with I think we just do not understand each other. I paid and got out of there as soon as possible. I am not asking for anything free, just that someone talks to her about how she comes off and how she treats customers.

I have been coming to this place since I moved to Boulder 5 years ago. I have never been disappointed with any haircut Ive gotten there and theyve never over-pushed products on me or made me feel awkward. Im writing this review now in response to the amazing razor cut I got by Mercedes. The whole staff is great and friendly I would recommend coming here if youre looking for a haircut in Boulder.

These women are EXCELLENT! Josie, Priscilla, Kimmie... there was another person there and I didnt get her name. I hope they I spelled these right. I dont go anywhere else to get my hair trimmed.

Finally had to stop going here they dont have operators that stay long enough to get me happy. I have a good girl and the next time it well be someone different. I think they are a stepping stone to better clientele.

I came in with a friend who was unscheduled. They got her in promptly and answered all of her questions, and mine, very thoroughly and all suggestions were helpful. The stylist was Kimmy and she had a good singing voice and great customer service. Also me and the host Aaron had a very deep and njoyable conversation. Caci was very good at complimenting my friend so shouts for that.

Worst hair cut I’ve received, I asked for long layers and got huge chunks cut out instead. Hair salons shouldn’t hire people who don’t know how to do simple layers. My hair has now been unfixable for a while, unless I decide to cut off almost all of my length.

Some stylist are better than others. Try to find one you like and stick with him or her.

Nice staff and short wait time. They provide basic haircuts, anything more nuanced and harder to cut is not done with detail.

Worst haircut I have received in my life. They have good customer service however I would in no way call them professionals at what they do. They shaved off an amazing amount of hair on the back of my head and around my ears. It was super uneven also. I will never go here again.

I just moved in town and tried Great Clips. It was bad experience. Though I showed her the picture, she didnt follow it. It ended up a mess which I have to deal with for the following two/three months for the hair to grow longer.
