I saw Mimi and Im glad I did. Mimi did an amazing job, great head massage, and an overall fun vibe in her chair. She suggested a hair cut and color that would bring out my best features and compliment my skin tone. She was right because I have been getting nonstop compliments. I recently went to see Kai at Indie Salons for a cut and color. Kai is a Boulder best kept secret at Indie Salons. I’ve been getting my hair cut, styled, and colored with him for years and highly recommend his work as well as his “chair side manor”. I particularly appreciate his attention to detail — never rushed and always just-so. He uses Aveda products and has good recommendations for products and routine care. Indie Salons are centrally located, chic, clean and in a great space.

Kai Swan is an extremely talented hairstylist that has consistently delivered a spectacular haircut. As a man it is hard to find someone that can deliver on a consistent basis a cut that will leave me feeling fresh and confident. And I am extremely grateful to be here and the managers really care about you and go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable and easy transition from your last place. This is a cool setup. Each practitioner has there own little room. My hairdresser had a sink, chair and heating lamp all in the space. The bathrooms were clean and the atmosphere very nice. Nothing elaborate but everything they need in each little cubby room.

I recommend Indie Salons to any beauty pro who is looking for the perfect Boulder salon studio! Great people, fun and friendly atmosphere, beautiful space overall. Five stars.

Zoe Field is amazing! I’ve never gotten a haircut that I walked out of the salon absolutely loving until I went to see Zoe. I’ll never go anywhere else!

In the era of COVID, IndieSalon is a winner. Each stylist has their own isolated room with little or no interaction among the stylists or among clients. Each stylist is responsible for sanitizing their own area between clients. I fully trust that April, my stylist, is taking every possible precaution.

Always an amazing place to go. Temperatures are checked, masks and sanitizers everywhere. Clean, and they care about Covid. Liz is the best. Been seeing her for years and she never gets it wrong! Always a pleasure to have her do my haircut and leave happy! Worth checking out and the other stylists are awesome too.

Stephanie at Antler and Hare is absolutely fantastic. It feels like a relaxing spa day when I get to go and get my hair colored and cut by her. I have been satisfied each time Ive seen her. She has been my hair guru for about three years. Her new space is beautifully decorated, full of light, has cozy warm tea and offers one stop shopping for hair products. She is the most talented color stylist I have ever met and I have never been unhappy with the results of her color treatments.

Going to get my hair done at Indie I was very apprehensive for obvious reasons of safety, health, and cleanliness during this pandemic!To my AMAZEMENT, it was a 10 for all the above! I’ve been going to one high end Salon for the last 3 years since I moved here, loved my hair stylist but she has moved to Indie during these uncharted waters and IAm so happy she did! Each stylist has their own private room and they are taking every precaution and following the safety rules explicitly!Check this place out! So happy that salon services are once again available in what used to be the old Essentials space. A lot of the same wonderful technicians are back, just bigger and better with an innovative studio approach to the spa. Today I was pampered by Kim H. of True Bloom for a rejuvenating pedicure. Her knowledge of everything from foot care to stunning color was much appreciated!
