Never has prescription on time, they will text me saying it’s ready then proceed to make me wait without fail. worst costumer service. worst pharmacy i have used.

I’m sorry but Jenn truly had no idea what was going on. It took forever because she had no idea what she was doing. She needs to be re trained. Wasn’t super friendly either. If you work at a pharmacy you should be able to pronounce “Fluconazole” and if you can’t, sure as hell don’t tell the customer that.

The male pharmacist was very rude about whether or not my medication contained something I was allergic to. He suggested I “google it” for the ingredients… I work as a pharmacy technician at CVS and when you work in the pharmacy you have full access to all ingredients on the computer and from the stock bottles. He was just being rude & lazy! I did end up being allergic to it which that’s very illegal to sell me something that contains ingredients i’m anaphylactic to!

Very poor customer service in the Boone Walgreens pharmacy. The attitude of the staff and the pharmacist is that they cant be bothered to do their job. There was an error on my refill date by two days (who knows, maybe I lost two pills). Their solution was that I pay for a refill without submitting it to my insurance. When what they should be doing is to contact the insurance company for approval to fill the prescription today - instead of waiting (to save the customer a second trip), and give two courtesy pills to bridge the missing two days (which is standard policy). The pharmacist said that prescriptions can only be refilled on the day of your last pill in the previous prescription fill. This is incorrect. I contacted Walgreens customer service, and it turns out that I was correct and the pharmacist doesnt know Walgreens policy. He was incorrect on all aspects of our conversation.

Probably the worst pharmacy I have ever gone to. The pharmacist was extremely rude to me and tried blaming me for something their tech messed up. Came in yesterday and he told me to my face my medicine was filled but for other reasons I couldn’t pick it up and had to wait till today and now he’s saying they were never sent there ever. Don’t ever come here unless you want children in charge of your meds.

I love Walgreens. They have a good selection of cosmetics, health aids, sundries, and lots of other items one wouldnt expect (wine-in-a-can, scissors, charger cords, & pool toys), have great (BOGO, etc.) sales and its store card awards generous discounts on purchases.But two times the Pharmacy has made a significant error on my prescription. Fortunately the mistake was noticed before the medication was swallowed! So a caveat, be careful to examine and read about your Rx!But I still love Walgreens, because their employees exhibit a special brand of customer service. When my car died suddenly in the VERY busy intersection in front of the store, I was terrified. The managers came running out and pushed/carried my car into their parking lot, steered it into a quiet spot, popped the hood, and made sure I had a phone signal.Im a customer for life...

This location isnt anything special, though I know employees like Roman work very hard to make sure that things run smoothly.I have only ever used this Walgreens if it was a medication I had no other way of getting because of the hour. While they are no longer 24 hours, they still offer more pharmacy hours than our local chain, Boone Drug.Its easy to get into but kinda hard to get out of, due to the weird stoplight that backs up into the parking lot.They also offer drive through services, everyone there seems friendly and the store is always tidy.FOLLOW ME FOR MORE LOCAL INSIDER INFOZ

This Walgreens is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to! Every single time I went to have a prescription filled... it got messed up; from giving me my sisters medication in my envelope, to giving me the name brand on accident and still charging the name brand price, to being out of stock of my daily medication for a WEEK! I am honestly outraged - understanding it is not the employees fault I think that it just has horrible management! Store itself is nice and good if you need to shop but I DO NOT recommend getting prescriptions filled here!

The Boone, NC store is the most unorganized store I have ever been to. The pharmacy staff is very rude. Not only were they rude to me, they were very rude to the elderly, handicapped lady I was assisting. I will never go back in this store again. SHAME ON YOU 😡. Dont be mean to people just because they are handicap Chelsea Starnes!!

This walgreens is the worst Ive ever been to. They are always way too slow, rude, and hard to deal with. It is hard to work with them when there is an issue with your prescription, making it too hard to get the medication you need. Multiple times Ive been given the wrong thing and it was not appropriately fixed. Ive never had as many issues with pharmacies as I have with this walgreens. I recommend switching somewhere else if you have an account here.

This store seems to be doing everything right. The store was clean and organized and every customer seemed to understand that they are taking the Governor’s orders seriously. Everyone was wearing a mask... 👍👍👍

The pharmacy in Walgreens are not very nice specially the lady in there shes very hateful and mean and they will not give you a discount with GoodRx without you doing it for them but if you go into Publix or anywhere else they do it for you I would ever recommend going to Walgreens for your prescriptions I would cry every month when I went to them go to publix there great

Tried the Walgreens because the customer service at CVS is so bad. Well... the guy who was helping me had my med and was in the middle of entering my insurance info in the computer when he noticed a car drive up to the window. He just put my stuff down, walked away without a word to me, and called over his shoulder for someone else to finish helping me so he could help the car in the window. Apparently, that car was far more important than the person he was already helping. Way to make a customer feel appreciated. Do NOT recommend.

The pharmacy service is the absolute worst. They lost a fax that was supposed to be sent to my doctor for my prescription to be refilled and shook it off like it wasn’t a big deal. I waited multiple hours combined over three visits to get help. I would highly recommend going to ANY OTHER pharmacy in Boone over this one. I wish I could give them 0 stars.

Dont let nobody fool you. These people who work at the pharmacy are easily the sweetest kindest people ever. Theyve always treated me with me the utmost respect and have even gotten to know me on a first name basis. Yes they do at times get absolutely slammed but believe me...they are doing the best they can. I love these folks and they are just so awesome.

My wife just call the pharmacy regarding a question about a prescription and Nate obviously was not excited to be talking with customers on the phone, half way through her question he said God Damn under his breath. Been a customer for over 15 years, that ends today!

This is by far the most dysfunctional pharmacy Ive ever been to - it actually makes me miss Rite Aid (a lot). There have been several times when Ive actually had questions about my prescription, but didnt feel like interrupting the personal conversations between employees. Typically, you can expect to wait in a very long line for pick-up. I think Publix or Walmart are more reliable options than here.

Don’t expect to get your typical Walgreens quality service. I submitted a prescription request online for 12. Tried picking it up at 1 when I was told it wouldn’t be ready for 30 minutes. I returned at 3 and was told again that it would be 30 minutes. I returned an hour later at 4 only to be told that my prescription was still not ready. The pharmacist was extremely nice and apologetic while the pharmacy tech I spoke with on my precious visits was dismissive. I can’t remember the name of the pharmacist, but she turned my visit around.

My review is specific to the same day photo books only. NOT worth the money. The process took my crisp, clear, vivid shots and blurred and darkened them. Even the text was blurry on the page. Paper quality is smudgy and not glossy. Pages were glued in a leather cover and all fell out as soon as the book was opened. I wonder if the mail-away service is of any better quality? DO NOT RECOMMEND the in-store. However, on a bright note, returns are 100% refunded, and the young woman working the photo lab was delightful to deal with--intelligent, funny, and helpful. Took my photo business online to mixbook, but I will continue to shop at Walgreens because of this girls excellent customer service.

I just want to start off by saying that I tried to take the Walgreens survey on my receipt, but realized it has to be done within 72 hours of your visit. Since it was too late to take the survey, I’ll leave a review here. Kianna helped me at the pharmacy and let me just tell you she’s a goddess. I had been stressing about my medicine for a few days because my new health insurance hadn’t kicked in yet and I wasn’t sure how I would afford my medicine. I told Kianna what was going on and she said if I would give her a few minutes she would see what she could do to help me out. My medicine should have been $160+ but she was able to get it down to almost nothing with a few adjustments and coupons. Even when the computer was being super slow/going crazy, she remained professional and didn’t let that stop her from helping me. So thank you again, Kianna! You’re the best!

It is a usual store. Lots of selections, of course the prices are premium. The cashier had a respiratory infection, she was pitiful, but nice. It is easily accessed off of Blowing Rock Road.

Sam at the photo counter is phenomenal! Went in to pick up an order on 8/5/14 and she hunted and hunted for it. Finally she asked if it could possibly be under another name. My name changed 7 years ago! She found the order under my previous name and was very kind about it. Thanks to Sam for going the extra mile!

SLOWEST PHARMACY ON EARTH!!!! God forbid you are on something that you are dependent upon because they will keep telling you stories and more stories about why they can not get the medication in or why it did not come in or why it is not covered. After many years as a faithful Walgreens patron, I chose to go elsewhere because the issues here just continue to decline more and more as the years go by with the last three months being a continous battle to get medications that I have been on for over 5 years now. Troy has tried to help in everyway possible, but with this latest stunt that has made me so very ill--I just can not stay with this place and maintain my health.

Customer service was terrible .Called Lenoir Walgreens and had best help ever .They need management at Boone.There is not info to call to talk to manger.

Would not recommend pharmacy, rude service often with employees changing here constantly. Nick and the older gentleman with gray beard is the only constant I see here, and they are always friendly and helpful which is why I am giving 2 starts and not one.
