It was my first time to this provider. It was a very thorough exam. I saw photos of the inside back of my eyes with an explanation of what I was seeing. The male tech spoke so fast I could not understand him. I had to ask him to repeat almost everything.

The entire staff was extremely helpful, professional, and so kind. I drove over an hour for my appointment that they helped me schedule the same day! I will be scheduling all of my future appointments with them. They ARE worth the drive❤

I had the best experience. Before my appt was over I had a cute selection of frames in similar styles to my current frames picked out for me. It made it super easy to make a decision! I didn’t think I would like any other frames because my current frames fit me so well, but I love the new frames I picked out. I also loved the patience and guidance when deciding how to best use our insurance towards glasses and contacts.That’s why we keep coming back year after year.

My eye exam experience was very good. The two young women, especially Sydney, who helped me were professional and very sweet. You dont experience this high level of customer service as often anymore. The doctor was very nice and capable too. I appreciated her kindness and taking the time to answer my questions or explain things to me.

It’s been 5 years since Ive taken care of my vision health. I made an appointment and I was in and out within an hour. The staff answered all my questions happily and helped me choose a great pair of glasses. P.S. 10/10 will be returningP.P.S. I swear they didnt pay me to write this

This was a great experience! My first appointment here, since the place I used to go had closed. So glad I made the choice to come here! The staff is very efficient, and so nice! They were great about explaining the process of the exam. Cynthia was fantastic about explaining the benefits of certain lenses, and was quite thorough when explaining the pricing and insurance benefits. I would highly recommend this office for anyone needing a new eye doctor.

Everyone was very pleasant and very helpful when answering my questions. Id forgotten how much fun it is to pick out new frames and I got new glasses plus prescription sunglasses.

I received an eye exam and bought glasses and sunglasses. My experience during the exam was a breeze. The assistant and doctor were very professional and friendly. I bought my glasses from Cheyenne. She is so nice, made me feel like I’ve known her forever. LensCrafters is my favorite eye fitter. Definitely will return for future eye exams and glasses.

I thought the exam was very good and they really helped me pick out the right glasses. I also felt very safe and everything was so clean.

Overall my exam went very well. However, I dont appreciate being forced to take pictures of my eyes b/c of Covid and having to pay the extra cost for that when I didnt want it. Also, the doctor did the exact same exam she performs pre-covid so I am unsure why that step was necessary at all. If you are going to mandate something you shouldnt charge for it. I just feel that the pandemic was used to generate more income when it wasnt warranted.

My eye exam was wonderful. The staff and doctors at Bloomington Eye Professionals are top notch. However, the Lenscrafter representative inserted into my appointment created a really awkward situation. Upon being settled in the exam room the first person to knock and enter did not introduce herself as being a Lenscrafter Rep. Instead she launched into whether I was getting contact lens and purchasing glasses. I mistook her for a new doctor, so I was forthcoming with my intentions of the day. She did not like the answers and launched into a high pressure sales pitch for the current special available for progressive lens. I mistakenly revealed where I currently purchase my glasses and she tried to convince me that this was a wrong approach. She also argued with me about what my insurance benefits actually cover. I have held the same insurance for 19 years and have been wearing glasses since the third grade, so I am aware of what my coverage offers. In the end, my prescription did not change. So, I am not even a candidate to purchase new glasses. So, that representative also wasted her own time.I know this interaction is out of the control of Bloomington Eye Professionals. However, it did make me strongly consider choosing another practice. The lovely chair-side manner of my doctor and the staff, however, makes me want to stay.

Good experience I have not had an eye exam in 3years. Staff was very competent and patient even though I had a problem dilating my eyes. They explained every step.

My routine eye exam was easily scheduled and the office sent a helpful reminder the day before. The office staff was kind and well trained. Perhaps the staff was not overly personable, but that wasnt a priority for me. The doctor did a great job and helped me understand the changes in my eyes at this current stage of life. I will continue to go to Bloomington Eye Pro for my optical needs.

In this time of COVID-19, I was very impressed by all the procedures that were in place to ensure all areas were sanitized and patients were kept safe (staff and doctor wore masks and gloves) and socially distant.

The actual eye exam with the doctor was fine, but I find it a little ridiculous that I walked out paying way more than my expected copay for something I never even asked for nor needed. Super disappointing.

I was very thankful to have scheduled an appointment upon short notice, on a Friday afternoon. However when I arrived to my appointment all of the staff, including the Dr., were gathered around the front desk chatting. I figured that upon seeing a patient coming in, they would dissipate but that was not the case. Throughout my time in and out of the exam room, fitting room, etc. they were congregated discussing weekend hours and general work gossip. I was most disappointed in seeing the Dr. partake in this and the view that it gave me the customer sitting in the waiting room. I felt as if the Dr. was inexperienced, gossipy, and didnt care about patient rapport.Overall, everyone was very nice but I dont have positive feedback about my experience with professionalism within the office.

This was my second eye exam at this location. They are thorough and professional. Even though they did not accept my insurance plan, my comprehensive eye exam was under $100.

Broke glasses on vacation and needed to replace them quickly. Dr. Smith and Megan were awesome and made the visit as painless as possible. My visit to Bloomington Eye Professionals was great. I was greeted kindly by the front staff upon my arrival. My wait time was minimal before being seen by the very capable tech who was courteous and professional. Doctor Smith was very thorough in examining me. He took time to explain what he was doing as he examined my eyes. He was courteous and professional. I dont see how B.E.Pros could have done more for me. I will be back for all my eye care needs.

The particular eye doctor I have seen decided to use Covid as a way to squeeze money out of his patients! He made a test mandatory that insurance does not cover. After calling around I found plenty of places that was not doing this. Im very disappointed that I was forced to switch doctors in the middle of a pandemic because of greed!

Lied to about the PD number. If I would have known they wont give that number would have never came here. Luckily I had my old one but ordering glasses on line is the future, rude unhelpful eye glass stores will be gone like malls and video stores.

Dr. Dennis Brtva is an outstanding Optometrist. He always takes the time to explain my eye problems in a way that is easy to understand. He is very personable and caring as a doctor. I highly recommend him to those who care about their eyes and want the best. Dr. GF retired educator.

I had a great experience with Dr. Brtva and his staff. From making a first time appointment on the phone to walking out the door, everybody was very kind and informative. Each member of the staff made sure I knew exactly what they were doing and the purpose of it as well as if any of it would not be covered by my insurance.

I felt comfortable coming in to Dr. Brtvas office. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Everything regarding my vision was well explained in a simple manner, and my questions were all answered. Im glad I was able to meet and get my eye care done here.

Be careful with this people. They never gave my a heads up for my contacts exam and when we were done they charge $120 for me and my wife training and follow up contacts apps really, if you tell me in advance you will charge $60.00 for 10 mins. training of how to put my contacts... I will never accept it. I even spoke with the manager and she has nothing to say just sorry, this are our office policies. I worked for a dental office and if you do not tell how much will be in advance, some patients can eat your eyes. Please, just be fair and give a heads up before do any procedures. I dont care how much your charge, thats is your office policies, but just charge after words, it is NOT fair. Be carefull with this office. I have wonderful experiences with other Lenscrafters doctors but this was a very bad experience.
