Thanks to Dr. Cucerov my whole family is getting great dental care! Over past few months weve done few major procedures and are very happy with results. Dr. Cucerov is very caring and experienced. She is definitely a dentist you can trust. Gentle Dental in Belmont is a very neat location with knowledgeable professionals.

I had a regular check up and cleaning today and had a wonderful experience with the hygienist Valerie (who calls me 22222 because Im expecting a baby due on 2/22/22). She explained very kindly about how I should take care of my teeth and gum especially during pregnancy since Im having a very sensitive gum due to a hormone. Dr. Lamarre was also very kind and friendly. It was my third time here today and they never do unnecessary treatment. I highly recommend this place.

I have been a patient here for 5 years and could not place better rating for patient care. I would give this place ten stars if I could because they have to deal with my mouth. The care from the minute you walk to minute you leave is flawless. Valerie the Hygienist, is the most caring and thorough with her job and how she explains your situations so calmly - I have and will only see her forever. All the doctors I have seen here- Dr. Cucerov, Dr. Lamar, and Dr. Askari are beyond amazing, gentle, perfectionists, and care genuinely about the health and future health of your teeth - making you aware and understand your diagnosis and any procedure done. The assistant Kalpana is basically reading the doctors mind and this makes any appointment seem easygoing and as smooth as possible. She is also very comforting when nerves are high Bc I am scared of the dentist. Everything is very clean or new with sanitizing stations everywhere. I had my reservations due to Covid to return back to the dentist but when I did the amazing manager Kieran Remembered my name like I was just in last week. I have never waited long for appointment times and the office is always ready the minute you walk in the door. Check out is easy and they are very flexible to make your tx work no matter your financial situation so that in the end the best is don’t for the patient. These along many other small things that matter are why I will continue to come to this smooth sailing ship for a dental office for as long as I can.

The experience at Gentle Dental was great and the staff was very nice. Kiran at the front desk was very helpful upon arriving to the appointment and when leaving the appointment and she explained any other instructions and answered any questions I had. Dr C and Kalpana, Dr C’s chair side assistant are skilled, professional and friendly. They take whatever time and effort needed to make you feel comfortable and safe. Been going to them and their hygienist Valerie for many years and won’t change offices without bing forced into it. Hope they continue their great practice.

This office is one of the best dentist experiences I have ever had. Setting up an appointment is very easy, whether you call or do it online. The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. They took time out of there day to ask if my family and everyone is safe which really means a lot. Latest Update 06.16I received a phone call. They said we will make the refund. 14DAYS AGO. Still no refund was made to me!!! They are also lying about this particular problem! I have no faith that they will correct their mistakes. I will report this issiue to the FTC they will take necessery actions with this theft situation.I visit this clinic with broken teeth and bumps. They tried to take an X-rays. In the end, they said we couldnt take an X-ray because of the swelling. But somehow they came up with a plan to fix my broken molars with root canal treatment crown and filling (total cost 3800+) but the doctor never saw me!Then I asked them for time to think. they told me to visit the clinic again tomorrow. because they couldnt take the x-ray properly. but they said that I have to pay the 57 dollar fee. This $57 includes a doctors appointment, oral hygiene and x-ray service. However, after I left the clinic without getting any service, I was examined by another dentist and had an x-ray. The next day I called the office and said that I wanted to cancel my appointment because I had an x-ray and I would start the treatment. This is why I asked for a refund. However, they did not accept. I paid for a service I did not receive.!!!!UPDATE: I sent an e-mail to them as they replied to my review. They didn’t any response to me! Also now i’ve got a bill that shows; i owe them $103 for “limited oral eval prob focused!” Wtf! This compony is making illegal charging. I was expecting from them to fix the issue between us. But now they are sending me another bill! I can not believe this! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!

I was greeted with the wonderful manager happily and by name. I love getting my teeth cleaned by the magnificent Valerie. She is so nice and cleans very thoroughly. I am home now merrily rubbing my tongue over my teeth.

This office is in a great location with easy parking. Getting a cleaning in a middle of a pandemic is scary but, I really needed one. I had to get two root canals and I was so scared of how much painful It would be. And guess what ?! Not even a sting! Dr. C, Val and Kalpana and the front desk staff, were so nice this morning. We had an okay experience over at another gentle dental, but they squeezed us in so last minute for an extraction. They took care of EVERYTHING! My mom was so scared, especially because of the pandemic and being immune-compromised, and having a bleeding disorder, but they were so fast, gentle, and thorough. She said she could barely feel it and said she’d go back there for cleanings- AMAZING! I want to cry over how nice they were to us and how much they put her at ease.5 STARS DOESN’T EVEN BEGIN TO COVER IT!

On July 7, 2020 my 3 kids and I all had appointments. The moment we walked in I could see all the efforts and caution being taken to keep the office sanitized and safe. Prescreening with out temperatures taken. Everyone was was very nice and gentle. The staff were wearing two masks and face shields. I highly recommend this location.

I was extremely nervous for my dental extraction performed by Dr Cucerov, but it went smooth, pain-free and quick!- Kalpana is very pleasant and extremely patient to answer all your questions. I had my root canal done by Dr. Lilia Cucerov and I can not thank her enough. I deal with very chronic and painful mouth ulcers when there is any abrasion to my mouth. I let her know my concerns and fears before the procedure and she took so much care in avoiding as much trauma to my mouth as possible. She was very patient and kind, and completely unlike any dentist I have ever seen. Thank you so much Dr. Cucerov for the wonderful care! I can not recommend her enough!

Dr Askari is amazing! I had been going to Boston Dental school, but needed othodontic work before my implant. Just as they started ortho treatment I had started having an allergic reaction within 24 hours. They removed the metal and had me go for allergy testing. I was found to be anaphylactic to nickel. Unfortunately, BU ortho discharged me due to my allergy. My dentist through BU was willing to keep working with me if I found and outside orthodontist willing to take on my case. Dr. Askari was able to get me started on invisalign. At almost 48 years old Im finally getting the orthodontic treatment I needed at age 12, but my parents couldnt afford! Im thrilled with her treatment and plan for my teeth.

My kids and I have been coming here for 3 years. I tried 2 other dentists before my son could tolerate coming here for cleanings and check ups. Valerie is great; I met Kristen today and she was great. Most of interactions with the front staff have been great, too. I recommend Gentle Dental in Belmont!

I went there for my cleaning and exam last week, the Belmont office is very cautious and followed all guidelines. I felt safe going in during this pandemic.

Overall I highly recommend this place.I had two root canals and a couple filings done here with Dr. Cucerov and her assistant Kalpana. The dentist is very professional especially on root canal so you dont need to look for an endodontist separately. (I learned via some research that even if you have an endodontist, he or she will need to collaborate with your dentist since endodontists can only work on the root canal and core build-up part. So its nice to have someone who can take care all of it.)Kalpana took the x-ray and Dr. Cucerov evaluated my teeth condition on my first visit and laid out a treatment plan for me. The schedule was even adjusted to capitalize my insurance coverage. The first root canal experience was kind of scary to be honest since they dont explain much before getting stated. I wasnt too happy with the communication and urged them to give me more information on each step. They definitely improved on that part. The second root canal went much smoother since I already know whats going to happen. If you know the whole process, you would be much more comfortable lying in the dental chair for hours.What really amazed me is the filling. Dr. Cucerov spotted quite many decays and fixed all of them with filling. They somehow find the best color-match to my teeth and even fix a tiny dent of one of my front tooth along with the filling. The crown was also made very professionally. No one can tell these artificial materials from my original teeth.Well, I think the evaluation on a dentist could be tricky. The filling is easy for dentists but it is more satisfactory to the clients since the results speaks for themselves. The root canal is a difficult surgery that requires expertise but may not be easily appreciated. The whole process is not that pleasant and I feel the pain for the next 3-4 days, which is totally normal by the way. That does not mean the root canal itself wasnt a big success.Pros:1. Very professional, great skill2. Easy to make appointmentsCons:1. Taking x-ray could be painful (Kalpana should work on that)2. No sufficient communication unless you push for it

The new doctor at Gentle Dental Belmont is amazing. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and took the time to explain the procedures needed and together we made a plan on how to proceed with my treatment plan. So far, I had two crowns done on my front teeth, which look so natural they look even better than my own former teeth!! She really has an eye for aesthetics. I also had my wisdom teeth taken out at this office, I couldnt believe how easily they came out and I didnt even swell. I really recommend her!

Ive been to the Belmont practice for years. The dental hygienist is the most knowledgeable Ive ever had. Shes cured my sensitive teeth and provided me with invaluable information to improve dental hygiene to protect teeth and gums. Dr. C. is an extremely skilled dentist who is also cost conscious. Shes solved several serious problems for me over the years without resorting to expensive procedures. Her artistry is amazing. Also, the office staff are upbeat, friendly and helpful.

Holly is the best like seriously she found me an apt spot right away. When my appointment was confirmed by her she explained everything to me and found my insurance information before my apt. the whole staff was amazing this was the first time everything was explained to me over the phone before my apt so I was prepared and actually excited to come. I had gum surgery several weeks ago and had the most attentive, gentle, kind and wonderful surgeon, Dr. Kwon. I cant say enough about him! Also, Holly is most accommodating and cheerful, making sure everyone is well cared for and that appointments run on time! Highly recommended.

The office has the latest technology - especially for taking X-rays. I recently had excellent crown work done by Dr. Cucerov assisted by Paula, the dental assistant. They did an excellent job.

I had an awesome experience. First they took me in as an emergency 2 days In a row. I had an extraction one day and a root canal another day. They got me in an out as well as out of pain. They werent playing around they litterally extracted my tooth in less the. 2 minutes. It was the best experience Ive ever had.

Their insurances practices are sketchy and border line scam. I have been asking for a clarification for charges on my bill with no avail. They billed me directly instead of posting the charge to my insurance as a result I paid the entire bill even though my insurance covers most of it. They are not responding when asked for clarification. When ever I called regarding this, their responses are not friendly and evasive. They simply say they will research into this and call me back, which never happens.I choose this place because of their hygienist. She is amazing, their dentist is also good, but because of back to back appointments the dentist rushes to the next appointment. Its best to choose early slots in the morning before 10 AM, or else the doctor will leave immediately after treatment leaving no time to ask any questions.

At 55 years of age with 3 kids this was the rudest I was ever treated and the actual details are quite shocking but I will only share them with powers to be first in an attempt to br fair.I will say that there were 3 of them and the two top ones were just horrible.

Over the last year, I have had several procedures done: cleanings, cavities filled, and a root canal. Everything turned out perfectly. Dr. Cucerov is a dentist with the highest professional standards, and she is also a lovely, caring person.She explains everything so that you can understand whats going on, and also what your options are. During a procedure, she is very attentive to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Also, everyone else in the office is professional, friendly and caring: everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist. Its also very easy to make an appointment: Ive never had to wait more than a day or two. And theres convenient parking in the CVS next door. Everything is so good there, and everyone is so pleasant, I actually looking forward to my visits! You heard it right: I love going to the dentists!! THIS DENTIST!!

I got a significant amount of fillings done here, some of them were pretty big and other dentists suggested root canals and crowns, Dr. Cucerov also suggested those but managed to fix all my cavities with fillings, albeit very extensive ones, which was obviously a cheaper solution. Holds so far (was a few months)!

Been going here for years to see Dr. Cucerov and this place always does a fantastic job. Just had my teeth cleaned today by Jamika and she did such an incredible job. She took me back right away. I have a bar from braces and she really got in there to clean it really well. She even showed me photos of the spots I was missing because it’s so hard to get behind it. Highly recommend this Gentle Dental! The atmosphere is great and Dr Cucerov and staff are very caring. Great job, thank you!

Dr. Cucerov is an excellent dentist. I had a series of issues with an old bridge and getting gum decay underneath. She did such a wonderful job and now I finally have no issues with my teeth. The staff at the office is curteous and friendly.

I have love this place the staff is fantastic and the dentist is amazing went in for a wisdom tooth pulling and was out in 30 mins . Great service

Dont go to this office. They are highly unorganized and unprofessional. The dentist told me that i needed 3K worth of dental work so i got a second opinion from my long time dentist at a different office. Turns out that there is nothing wrong with my teeth, the second and third dentist I saw said that i do not need any dental work at all. I have stopped going to this office but my husband is still a patient. I called today to make him an appointment and was given misinformation about my insurance company and had to make 4 phone calls to straighten it out. Very annoying

I was seen by Dr Lilia Cucerov at Gentle Dental about a month ago, and I have to share how amazing she was. I had sensitivity/toothache on one of my teeth, and I called the office, Dr Cucerov was able to see me on the same day. I ended up needing a rootcanal. I was terrified at first, but she made me feel very comfortable and put me at ease. After she explained the procedure, I felt very confident about her work, and went on with the procedure. She was very kind and walked me through everything she did. She is a very professional dentist, and knows excatly what she is doing. She made me feel very special by calling me to follow up and to make sure I was feeling fine. She is the type of Dentist that really cares about you. I had a great experience!

Avoid. Baskies skills are questionable.One filling failed after a few weeks. No pain but had to be redone. Then the 2nd time, could not chew on it for weeks. I am scheduled to have it redone a 3rd time, but its likely going to end up in a root canal.The other filling was completely botched. The back of the tooth was cutting floss. Went in to have this fixed, and the doofus was grinding at the wrong place. He was grinding away my tooth and when I try after to see the difference on the floss, same problem. Then he managed to grind the right spot (luck maybe), but after several attempt, I just said enough. Went to a real dentist, he looked at it, poked the back of my tooth with a hook and I jumped on the chair. This filling will be redone as well.In short, this guy is a clumsy doofus. Sometimes, you just have to say it like it is.

They are unprofessional!!!!! After 2 hours treatment they could not take out my tooth and sent me other place!!!! Awful place!

Great staff. Did some dental work over several appointments and it went well, the four people that I interacted with were friendly, professional and did thing well. Terrible chairs (the dentist chair where you sit for an hour, not the waiting room chair). Would give it five stars if the chairs were better.
