As someone who is a slightly nervous patient, I highly recommend Dr. Liz and a Arni as an amazing team. Arni is hands down the best and most thorough hygienist I have ever had! She tells you what she is doing and why/how she is doing it. She tells you tips and tricks to help take care of any areas that need a little more attention. I could literally drift off to sleep while she is cleaning my teeth.. she really is THAT gentle.Dr. Liz is sweet and professional and really listened to me and made me feel very at ease! I asked about whitening and she gave me three different options at different price points and wasn’t the least bit pushy.So glad I found this team!!!

Have been going to BFD for two years now and can say confidently they are the most caring team of dental professionals I have come across. The purpose of all procedures and equipment is always described, and if you are a sensitive softy like me, they will make extra sure to be gentle. Arnie has great stories to share and is great at her job. The doctors are knowledgeable and are not pushy. The whole place itself is nicely styled and maintained well, which adds on to the good vibes :) Thank you!

My hygenist Arnie was/is/always will be AMAZING! She is very thorough and explains every step of the cleaning process. Dr. Liz is equally as supportive and flexible! When I popped into the office a month ago (on about an hour’s notice) with severe tooth pain, she was able to quickly diagnose and treat my cavity! Thank you Dr. Liz and Arnie and the whole squad! The ladies at the front desk are also fantastic and they were super sweet! I look forward to cleanings and all dental treatment and don’t mind driving 30 minutes to get there!

I have been to several dentist offices in the local area but never found the same level of care, compassion, and professionalism as I experienced at Belmont Family Dentistry.The office staff and medical professionals treat all of their patients like family. I actually look forward to my visits, which I know is odd to say about a dentist, but I do really love this practice and am grateful to be able to trust the professionals here to provide great care.

I have gone to Belmont Family Dentistry for years and am very relieved that even though it changed owners, it still has a wonderful atmosphere and outstanding staff. Susan, my hygienist, had excellent hands and showed much concern for the health of my teeth. I can highly recommend them to anyone, looking for dental care.Adding to my previous review: Arni, my hygienist this past year has been wonderful. She really cares about my teeth, encouraging good habits and thoroughly cleaning my teeth so that they feel great. She has good hand, so I’m very comfortable and never feel any pain. I went to Belmont Family Dentistry as a first-time patient. Prior to my appointment, I was sent medical and dental history forms to fill out online. Gail, the hygienist was very thorough and professional. After my teeth were cleaned, Dr. Brachowicz arrived to check for signs of cancer and did a final check on my teeth and gums. Overall, I was very impressed with my experience.

Best facial I’ve had in a longtime! It was very relaxing and my skin looks great. Megan was wonderful and gave me some great pointers on keeping my face glowing between facials.

The staff are professional and knowledgeable. They are also very friendly. However, I got the impression they like to extend out treatment over multiple appointments because I had an apt for a dental guard and tooth smoothening. They finished with the tooth and said the mouth guard was best to do in another appointment. The mouth guard could not have taken more than 20 mins to do. I can’t afford coming for multiple appointments for small things. 3 months later I also got a unpaid balance notice, they are not very clear with charges either.

My appointment this morning was great , as usual. I saw a new hygienist, Natalie and a new dentist, Dr Lam. Both were very professional and knowledgeable. During these pandemic times the office and entire staff took all necessary precautions.

Im so glad I choose this dental office. I had a lot of work to get done before I moved out of state and they managed to do everything in less than 2 weeks even thought I was at the last minute. Everyone is SO nice and shows concern for their costumers. Dr. Lam Nguyen did a fantastic job, she is gentle and explains everything well. Perhaps they dont have deals like other places and their prices arent the lowest in the area, but you totally get what you pay for. I will be back when Im in town!

Perfect dental practice. In early to receive my call by live person to answer my inquiry Re time of my apptmt. Ready with good Covid precautions executed efficiently on my arrival. In and out within an hour for crown installation, with great attention to nuances of comfort during procedure and meticulous attention to tiny adjustments and smoothing of edges so no later tongue annoyances nor Re-grinding necessary. Temp crown performed well until permanent was installed. The wallet-ectomy after every procedure is always painful, but blame that on the for-profit insurance industry, not on the artisans who capably extend theLifespan of our dentition. (Pain-free Chewing is great). For thirty years this has been the best dental practice anywhere in my experiences across five states, economically extending function of prior repairs as long as possible and proactively repairing new problems before they manifest dysfunctionally. (And good Playlist to relax you during procedures. ) Every employee (5-7 over the last 30 years) I’ve encountered here has been professional, competent, concerned, efficient, and personable. And every other specialty practitioner (they’ve referred me to) have been equally astonishingly good.

Belmont Family Dentistry has always been a safe and comfortable place with a modern approach to patient care from technology to communication options for appointments. I was the first patient in for the “new normal”, and I felt very safe. I did not have contact with other patients, all regulations were followed and I still experienced both the same level of care And integrity I always have there.

Karen is hands down one of the best dental hygienists! She is very thorough and kind....the appointment always flies by!I had to have a filling replaced today. Dr. Liz was very patient and took her time to explain everything. I really appreciated it!

Over the many years that I have been a patient at Belmont Family Dentistry, I have consistently been impressed with what an excellent job all their practitioners do. They are very patient focused, and committed to providing the best care. I have been a patient there for more than 30 years and have had all my children treated there as well. I was at the office recently and realized that I have never posted a review so I decided to post this today. I recommend them without reservation.

We are very pleased with Belmont Family Dentistry. They have been our family dentist for three years, and have handled with care and efficiency all our needs. Special mention should be made of their friendly way to take care of kid’s issues and make everyone feel totally at ease! Scheduling appointments has always been flexible. Update 9/2020: After a negative experience with I had in July 2020 with a junior associate dentist who was condescending and patronizing to me the Owner did call me and apologize very sincerely for the incident. The Owner did offer to see me personally in the future, and I did like her when we met before. But by that time I had found another dentist.

My family and I have been going to Belmont Family Dentistry for at least 20 years. Dr. Ficalora is remarkable in her willingness to have frank discussions about tooth health and she is a very skilled dentist. The various hygienists we have seen over the years are knowledgeable and provide high quality of care. They provided a comfort-level for our child as he grew. The front desk staff is very savvy about all things billing, they provide options for scheduling, and they return calls promptly. We feel very lucky to be in the area where we can be their patients.

They are very nice and sweet. Karen can hold up the conversation while cleaning your teeth without you feeling obligated to respond, but doesnt make you feel left out so you can talk between rinses. Ive also never had to wait though I always get 8am appointments.Im not a dentist, so not sure how to evaluate their care quality. But here are observations. They gave me a filling when I needed one, they use my x-rays to show me the concepts they are pointing out to me, my teeth feel clean after cleanings, cleanings are not painful, they tell me what I should do / worry about, they dont push expensive hardware, they demonstrate proper flossing technique.

I moved to Massachusetts a little over two years ago, and Ive been procrastinating finding a new dentist since then. I finally bit the bullet and gave Belmont Family Dentistry a call - they were in-network for me which was great, since I live just down the street. Got there and was struck by the coziness - its a cute little house! Everyone was super nice, especially my hygienist, Christine. I always ask too many questions at the dentist, and she answered every one of them in an informative and accessible way! Its one thing to hear You should floss more, and another to see what happens when you dont on the x-ray, haha. The dentist herself was super nice and extremely thorough - exactly what you want in a dentist, haha. I was in and out in an hour, and that was with x-rays and everything. Just a delightful experience, and while Im not thrilled to get a filling next time I see them (remember to floss, kids!), I am looking forward to seeing everyone there. Definitely recommended!

When I get my teeth cleaned here, they feel squeaky clean. Fillings are done painlessly and permanently. The staff is always very polite and helpful.

I have used this dentistry for over 20 years, my 2 children (now adults) and husband also. Always receive state-if-the-art care in a warm and welcoming environment. We switched here when previous dentist started diagnosing unneeded extra work and I went to Belmont for a second opinion. Found the recommended work was unnecessary. These folks are extremely thorough, very responsive and helpful. Most of all, a high degree of integrity!

My family and I have been going to this practice for nearly 20 years. They are great dentists and hygenists - they making going to the dentist a pleasure! Christine has been my hygenist for several years now. She does a great job on my teeth and gums and also is great to talk with!

I have been a customer for over 35 years - through a number of owners and doctors. I have always been pleased with the care and concern for my dental health. Today I live in Acton but still make the drive into Belmont for all my dental work.

Dr. Ficalora and her staff have taken care of my teeth for over ten years. They all have been nothing but the best. Always kind, friendly and extremely professional. No matter what problem I had, Dr. Ficalora fixed it in her most gentle way. Whenever I had family visiting and they had a dental emergency, Belmont Dentistry and their staff was there immediately to help solve the problem. It saved their vacations.

I recently had an old filling come out of molar and it was causing me so much discomfort when eating since it was just compacting food in-between the teeth ugh!I asked Geri their Office Manager to schedule me ASAP and they got me in the same week! I saw Dr. Brachowicz and she was saw exactly where it was and what I needed. Yes I needed my teeth to be drilled but it was done without pain and the new filling went in beautifully. I’m back to eating all the foods I love to eat. Thank you Dr. Brachowicz and team for taking care of me so quickly!

Every visit to Dr. Ficaloras is great! The staff, assistants and of course Dr. Ficalora are terrific! Their courteous professionalism and thoroughness is consistent as is their expediency and conscientious service.

The staff are so kind and welcoming!

They do not run the office properly. They have very rude desk help. They refused to do a free cleaning on a family member that is covered by our insurance because I had a late bill. I lost time and money because they sent us a message to come in for a cleaning then told us to leave when we got there. They tried to say they left a message canceling the appointment but there was no message left. The dentist are OK but not worth the RUDE service and smug looks and bad attitude from the rude secretary. Also they seem to x-ray you too frequently and my insurance is not the best. Look for a better dentist office.
