Hygienist was very patient and caring when cleaning my teeth. Can not swallow and I am not the typical patient. Dr Bonaventure always willing do see if he has any friends or contacts to help me medically. The clinic has the newest and most modern equipment. Will not go any where else . So far removed from the “old” type of practices.

BEST dental care in Baton Rouge! The staff is so caring and makes you feel comfortable every time you come in. They are very gentle and ensure you aren’t in pain - this is HUGE! I can’t tell you how many dentists I’ve been to where everything they do hurts 😢 I would leave other places with the corners of my mouth cracked from being so dry & bleeding because my mouth was held open too wide for too long. This is never the case at Bonaventure!I’m amazed every time I go into Dr. Bonaventure’s office! It is actually a wonderful experience to go to the dentist 🙌🏼😁

I cant say enough good things about this practice. Dr. Bonaventure and his staff are great! The ease in scheduling appointments, the reminders prior to, and the timeliness of the appointments all add to the greatness given by him and his staff. My hygienist Ashley always executes a comfortable and thorough cleaning while I am able to enjoy watching the TV overhead. She couldnt be more personable, and I never feel like just a slot in the schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Bonaventure to anyone who is not fully satisfied with their current dental care.

I had no problem with my teeth until I ...met with a medical emergency in 2011 when I had to be intubated and my teeth were fractured in the process. I was so fortunate that I could see Dr. Bonaventure who identified and fixed the problem. I am very thankful to Dr. Bonaventure and his skillful approach to address my problem. Scheduling is simple and they keep up my annual cleaning. Every visit is like visiting friends and family. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr.Bonavenventure is very professional, he takes the time to explain what needs to be done and provides valuable advice , Its not easy to find a great dentist. I have never been so comfortable and confident with a Dentist like I am with Dr. Bonaventure and Staff. From the Reception staff, to Hygentist Staff to Dr. Bonaventure himself. Everyone is super kind and comforting. Dr. Bonaventure is gentle and he constantly checked on my pain/anxiety level...How ya doing?, Are you ok? comfortable? I needed to have so much dental work done, and I can say I am so pleased with the plan He (Dr.) put together and the work that was performed. Awesome practice!

Bonaventure said that gluing my cap back in would be no problem. Two days later it was badly infected. Apparently he missed the lesson on cleanliness in whatever dental school he attended. The next dentist said it should never have been just put back. I had to have root canal and because of that, the cap had to be completely redone. Two thousand dollars later in total costs, Bonaventures office called me and demanded more money because they hadnt calculated the original bill correctly.

I have also found Dr. Bonaventure is great at explaining everything thoroughly and balancing costs/what is urgent or can wait. His staff are absolutely wonderful with my kids as well! ❤

I am a 60 year old man and have been a patient of Dr. Justin Bonaventure for approximately 9-10 years. He has always provided excellent dental care. He and his staff are always friendly and caring. I moved away from Baton Rouge and still drive 3.5 hours one way for the exceptional dental work I receive at Bonaventure Dental Care.

Dr. Justin and staff were very friendly and took good care of me. Made my first visit an amazing experience. Took time to explain my procedures and Xrays needed. Both assistance were very professional. All were gentle when working in my mouth. Will definitely refer family and friends here!!!Only had a cleaning, so did not give 5 stars until I get other dental procedures done to determine my experience.

Today was my first time at Bonaventure. (My dentist has been Dr. James Gilbert who has merged his practice.) The staff were professional and friendly - Ms. Shannon, who is very caring and kind and who did my teeth cleaning, and Dr. Gilbert, and others. Bonaventure doesnt offer a cash pay discount, and I wish they did, but that is just the way they choose to do business and not a deficiency on their part. I received a text from them asking for a review and it is my privilege to say Thank you and keep up the good work!

I actually hate the dentist, but Dr. B and his staff is amazing!!!! They are very quick and efficient! They got me in and out within one hour including paperwork! They let me know everything that was going on during my extraction, which wasn’t too painful! I highly recommend Dr. Bonaventure!

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Bonaventure and his team. Everything is run like a well oiled machine, and never behind on their appts. They’ve never pushed unnecessary dental work on me and didn’t make you dread the visit. He was available after hours at the height of quarantine in full hazmat, and was willing to do emergency surgery on my mother after she suffered a traumatic injury. She didn’t even have to take more than ibuprofen after hours of reconstructive surgery by Dr. Bonaventure and his team. If I hadn’t moved out of state, I would still be a patient and I recommend them to anyone who asks.

I checked out many dental sites and read everyones comments. I thought Dr. Bonaventure to be the absolute best fit for me. From the first contact I made with the receptionist, I felt like I made the right choice. I went in there with some anxiety, and left feeling great! I cannot wait for my next visit! How crazy is that? I had to have two teeth pulled in the front of my mouth. There was absolutely no pain from the local anesthesia through the extraction. Dr. Bonaventure walked me through everything. The dental technician was wonderful too. I was very calm and felt I was in good hands thanks to their understanding and care. I walked out of the office with a temporary bridge and in less than 3 weeks my permanent one was in. They are beautiful and well made! I still have a substantial amount of work to get done. Dr. Bonaventure said he will work with me to get things done one step at a time according to my schedule. I would recommend Dr. Bonaventure and his employees to everyone! It is rare nowadays to find a dentist like him.

Ill never look for another dentist -After having several difficult experiences at dentists in Baton Rouge, I finally visited Dr. Bonaventure on the advice of a very good friend. My experience at Dr. Bonaventures office has been incredibly professional and pleasant. They believe in treating your teeth to help prolong their health and they are not going to find problems just so they can charge more.I cannot say enough about how proactive their office is with treatment and how glad I am that I found them.

Everyone has been nice and caring. The staff listens to what I have to say and does not disregard or jump to conclusions with regards to my concerns. I have been very pleased with the service and staff at Bonaventure Dental Care. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Bonaventure for over a year now and have no intention of going elsewhere. I am always in the dentist chair within 2 minutes of showing up, sometimes I don’t even have a chance to sit down before they bring me to the back. I love Bonaventure Dental! Every time I go, I never have to wait like I have at other dental offices in the past. I’m always taken to the back several minutes after I check in and the assistant is always right with me! As soon as she is done with my cleaning, Dr. Bonaventure comes right over and does my exam! He is honest and never tries to “sell” me services I don’t need like my dentist did. They definitely have me as a patient as long as he is practicing!

I was extremely satisfied with the repair work done on my chipped tooth. The color match was exact, I can’t tell which tooth was chipped. I have been going to Dr. Gilbert for probably 25 years and this was my first visit with Dr. Bonaventure and it was all good.

My husband had an absolutely terrible experience at another dentist on February 20th. He left his previous dentists office in tears and too embarrassed to even speak after a filling was poorly placed on him and had fallen out due to poor craftsmanship. I called Dr. Bonaventures office at 4:30 on February 20th after this experience. I explained everything to Dr. Bonaventures office staff and cautioned them about his anxiety concerning dentists. They were so sweet and helpful. They tried everything they could to get him in that day but they were unable to. However, they were able to get him in first thing the next morning(today). He called me after and talked about how fantastic his staff was and to discuss his treatment plan, and how beautiful the work they did looked.Their extreme attention to detail, stellar customer service, and care they display towards each patient really makes this team absolutely stand out. I am now switching my entire family to be treated at this practice.People dont realize the effect less than perfect teeth can have on someones self esteem or how their teeth got to that point. However, this office and their team clearly do understand that and want to genuinely make a difference where they can. My husband came back as a much happier person and for that- Im beyond thankful.Look no where else- you wont find better care than here.
