Easy to schedule appointments. Clean, well-lit, and nicely decorated establishment. I saw Dr. Jared primarily. Always pleasant interacting with him and all the staff. Everyone’s very personable.He filled in a few cavities and gave me a crown. I’m sensitive to pain and had a terrible experience with my last dentist so I was very nervous. They made sure I felt safe and was very attentive to my reactions.Dr. Jared and all the assistants keep the mood light and installing the cap was quick and pain-free. I’m very happy with the quality of the work. Prices were also very fair. Went to get a second quote at a different office and found Southern Oaks was more affordable and had better ratings.Would highly recommend.

The staff was so nice and Dr. Cowen was so amazing! I’m not a regular patient there but I came in for an emergency Root Canal and it was tough but they ensured I was comfortable the whole time and made my Christmas so much better. I highly recommend them to any and everyone!

Came for a checkup and found I had some cavities. I got them fixed and then got them adjusted a week later. Everything was timely, smooth, and professional! I would definitely recommend Southern Oaks Family Dental Care to others because they are very thorough and understanding. I was concerned about having my fillings done and whether I had a true cavity since I’d never had cavities before. All of the staff from the front office to the other assistants, hygienists, and doctors were very patient with me and educated me on how the cavities may have started by showing me the pictures up close. In addition, the dental care is affordable.

Today was my first visit Southern Oaks Family Dental. I went in for a cleaning and check up. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience!! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hygienist who worked on me, Brittany, was as friendly as she was efficient. My teeth felt great when she finished! Dr. Norris performed my check up. I had one tooth that needed some work to repair some damage and she was able to attend to it immediately, no need for a return visit. Dr. Norris and her assistant, Alex, put me at ease from the first moment I entered the exam room. They worked so well as a team to take care of me. They were wonderful!!!! I will definitely return to Southern Oaks for my dental care!

The office manager Danielle is so friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions when my dental insurance changed and reviewed financial options with me. Dominique is an excellent dental hygienist and is very gentle with my sensitive teeth. Dr. Cowen is very kind, thorough, and proactive. I highly recommend this team!

Dr. Cody and his staff are the best they were very concern about me as a patient with follow up call, their prices are unbelievable. Alex and Yattie are wonderful assistance. My experience with Southern Oaks has been less than favorable. I made an appointment for a general cleaning and verified that my insurance would be accepted. After an earlier appt slot opened up, I was happy to go in sooner. I get to the office and I’m not on the books?! So I return there again for my original appt slot and I’m told they don’t accept my insurance. Such a waste of time and I still never even got treated!

I always enjoy my visit from entering the doors with the warm greeting and professionalism of Danielle, Ally and Kendra to visiting Brittany, my dental hygienist and Dr. Cowen. Brittany is very personable. She is always amazing! Very thorough and knowledgeable of her profession. And, I love Dr. Cowen. He is great and very friendly! UPDATE: I am now seeing Dr. Cowen at Southern Oaks Family Dental. My crown kept falling out- I had sort of started to feel like it was something that I was doing or perhaps I wasnt biting properly during the fitting of the crown. He made me an entirely new crown. He reassured me that it wasnt my fault and was very thorough in explaining things to me and relieving my anxieties. The new crown fits perfectly and feels very natural. I am so so happy with the results. I was having reservations about getting another crown, due to the issues with the first one, but I am going to move forward with it because I know he will take care of me.You can tell he really cares about his patients. I will forever be going to Dr. Cowen. I seriously cannot say enough about this facility and their entire staff.OLD REVIEW:Doctor Norris is so sweet and welcoming to new patients and made me feel very comfortable. She’s personable and always makes me laugh. I have always hated going to the dentist but the team at southern oaks has changed that completely!
