Dr Lejeune is very nice and professional to work with. He correctly diagnose my issues which are TMJ and sleep apnea. I am on my third week of treatment, I can tell a big difference. I have been seeking for treatment from chiropractics, neurologists, physical therapy for years and none of them can explain why I have headache and face pain. I am greatful that Dr Lejeune can give me a fully understanding what is going on with my body and why I am in so much pain everyday and give me a treatment plan!!

Dr. Lejeune is brilliant! His expertise extends way beyond dentistry into neurology, and he is the only dentist I found who truly understands the impact of oral health & jaw alignment on overall health. The status of those impact the entire body and every facet of day to day life. I wish I found him sooner.

Both my wife and I have had traumatic experiences with Dr. Kurt. On the day of my appointment, I was feeling rough after reading the disclaimer I had to sign because the wording made me anxious. I then had an complex partial epileptic seizure after Dr. Kurt gave me a local anesthetic shot (later on I found out from my neurologist that this medicine is known to cause issues for some people who have epilepsy). After regaining consciousness, I became angry and left the building to sit outside as I was not feeling well. I was charged for the anesthetic shot even though I had ZERO work done. After becoming sick in the parking lot, I went home numb. I have since been to another dentist who found nothing wrong with the tooth he was trying to work on that day.He later told my wife that he offered to reschedule my appointment at the beginning that day because I looked pale. He did no such thing. My wife tried leaving a negative review on Google about her experience but it has not shown up. You can read her review on Yelp under Cypress Dental.

Thank you Dr Lejeune and staff! You gave me my smile back! I was having severe jaw problems that no other dentist could address, but after my first visit with you, I felt confident you could. And you certainly did. Not only is my jaw back to normal, but you fixed my front teeth as well. They look so good now! I no longer grin, I smile! I will continue to recommended Dr. Lejeune to anyone with physical or cosmetic dental issues...or for just routine visits. I am extremely pleased.

Ive always had loud snoring. Never have been extremely overweight. My build since highschool has ranged from 160lbs to now 185lbs and im 511. I tested for sleep apnea beginning of 2020. and had Mild to Moderate sleep apnea with loud snoring that sometimes woke myself if I didnt wake occasionally from having to gasp or catch my breath if I stopped breathing. Originally, I saw my dentist who does my regular cleanings who uses the Tap 2 MAD. He told me that they make if for you and you either feel better or you dont after using it, which didnt give me much confidence that it would work. The Pulmonologist I saw recommended Dr. Lejeune who used the true Dorsal MAD device. My initial meeting with him was very informative. His costs were a lot more than my dentist, but his plan of treatment for my sleep apnea and loud snoring sounded much more extensive and made me feel much more confident that he would be able to successfully treat my sleep apnea.During the course of my treatment, it was a little chaotic at his office at times, BUT to be fair, my treatment started right as we were entering the pandemic with businesses being forced to close and everyone was scared of the covid 19 virus. And with Dr. Lejuene being a specialist, it is very difficult to operate and maintain normal staffing hours if customers are scared to come in. Not too mention how to transition back to normal operations with Louisianas ever changing phases for covid - 19 protocols. So other than that, which wasnt their fault, the staff has been wonderful. Dr. Lejuene has been very professional and courteous. Im a very detailed oriented person, and he always took time to listen to my concerns and questions and was very thorough in all the answers and information he provided me. Due to the covid 19 pandemic and the chaos that was caused, he has changed some of the staff a few times. His current receptionist, Arlette, who has been there at least the last 6 months as we have slowly moved back to normal has been very nice and professional. Greets you as soon as you walk in and makes sure that you are good to go for your next appointment with a text and email appointment reminder. His dental hygienist that he currently has, has been there since my 3rd month of treatment. She has been very nice and professional and also took time to make sure I felt comfortable with my treatment, and ensuring all my questions and concerns were answered as well.As far as the treatment process, it is definitely extensive and results arent over night. My first appointment after the initial consult took about 2 hours completing moldings, photos, x-rays, and running all sorts of tests to make sure my jaw, muscles, bones, bite, gums and teeth could handle the treatment. Once that appointment is done, you have to wait until your appliance comes in, and then you will go through a series of appointments where Dr. Lejuene and his hygenist will test your normal breathing and your breathing with the appliance as they make adjustments to it to reduce the occurence of your apneas while you sleep. You wont feel better right away, but each appointment that goes by you will feel more rested (generally 10-12 appointments spaced out about 2-4 weeks apart depending on how well youre doing with appliance). And if you think you arent, take a few nights off from the appliance and see how you feel in the morning and compare to when youre wearing the appliance. I did this and I felt terrible when I didnt wear it. Started getting headaches when i woke up, sore throat, and back to excessive grogginess in the morning. Now Im not saying youre going to feel like superman in the morning if you use the MAD device, but you wont have nearly as bad of symptoms as I listed above if any. But the real result is your final sleep test to ensure its efficacy. My sleep apnea and snoring was practically ERADICATED (never fully gone as its normal to have 1-3 apneas a night). I went from having 15 down to 2 with no more loud snoring. Problem solved. Go to Dr. Lejeune!

I am so fortunate to have found Dr LeJeune. I can honestly say that it has been a life changing experience for me. I have severe sleep apnea and tried Cpap for 2 years . During that time , I had nose bleeds , sinus infections, bloated abdomen , and severe sholder pain , all caused by Cpap. Dr LeJeune made a mouthpiece to help me breath at night . It works beautifully, and most of the other problems are resolved . I was so unaware that air could enter the body and cause so many problems. He is so thourough , compassionate and knowledgeable .The office is beautiful and the staff are all so kind and caring. I highly recommend him and will use him for all dental work.Carla Harrison
