When I went he had just hired on front desk assistant in which . She caught on very quickly to assistant customers. Not they gave a homely environment made you feel at home. The laughter and it was like swinging on a swing set with someone without saying a word and had the best time ever.

The lady at the front desk/eye wear orders handler is super nice and helpful to find the best price for what you need. Her customer service skills are superior. The doctors are great too. We are new customers from going for years and tears to Americas Best where we thought we were getting the best deal... I can assure you we were not. Glad I gave up there and went to Eye Care Specialties.

Spanish speaking staff were very helpful and friendly. Had a great experience the first visit not so much on the second visit picking up my daughter’s new glasses. Felt completely out of place, questions were not answered. I had expected the same curtesy and attention from first visit.

What an awesome experience! I wanted to have an eye exam because I never had one before and it was a great experience. The doctor is very detailed and thorough with his exam and made me feel confident that he knew what he was doing. It was great to know that I would not be needing readers for at least 8 years. Thank you!

The first words out of my mouth, when I saw my new glasses were WOW. I couldnt believe how awesome they looked. My friends, truth be told, I am not easily impressed. I dont complain a lot, thats meh.... but impressing me???? LOL.... thats hard.... everything went smoothly, prices were great, after insurance, I got a huge discount... customer service was over the top, and the result was,.....WOW...A++ HUGE THANKS. I HI-HI-HIGHLY recommend EyeCare!! Oh, one more thing, Im 60 years old, its the very first time, I said, WOW, to glasses!!! 🤓🤓🤓🤡😁

Not happy with the experience I had with them ! I heard about this place from a friend .....I called & made an appointment...was told to bring my insurance info in on my appointment! I get to my appointment and was told that since my insurance would “take too long” to verify over the phone .....I needed to just come make another appointment! So eye care specialists don’t want to verify insurances during an appointment ??? and now I have to wait to be fit in for another day ???Needless to say I was very upset & left with no glasses or contacts because the verification process of insurance would take too long ! I will never come here again !Please hire people that want to do their job ! People that can be have patience and treat new customers with respect !I will be informing my job & coworkers of this terrible experience!

The first time I went the receptionist tried to give me a hard time for requesting a glasses cleaning cloth. Shrugged it off whateverI woke up a few days ago with super red, irritated eyes, the whites of my eyes were swollen and painful so I went to urgent care and they referred me to an optometrist so I made an appointment ASAP. I miss Brandy that was with one Hour optical. She was Always nice and professional .Today I was 8 minutes late I was literally turning into the parking lot when the receptionist called and said I missed the appointment. By the time we hung up the phone I would have been there. She obviously gave ZERO f**** about patients with possible eye injuries. It’s not what she said, it was the way in she delivered it. What a female dog !!! I will NEVER come to this office again!

I am not sure what has happened ever since the name change from One Hour Optical. My 2 children and I have been going here for about 10 years. I am not sure where to begin. My sons appointment was Jan23rd. On Feb 25th we called to find out where the glasses were. They said they have 2 shipments in that day and they would call us back. No call back. Next day, Feb26th I called. Spoke with the manager Raul who apologized and said they had to resubmit the order. He said he would give a partial credit for the inconvenience and he would personally call when they come in. Fast forward to Mar10th. Still no phone call. I called, Raul, is off, and was told that the order was just submitted on Mar3rd! This place is a disaster! I am not even gonna speak about my order for glasses because that was a WHOLE other fiasco. I am extremely disappointed in the service and confusion in this place. We will be finding another company to use going forward!!!

When I first looked this place up it had 4.5 stars, better than anything in Aurora close by. Got a quick exam, faster than from what I remember at Wal-Mart 2 years prior, rushed may be a better description. Got my glasses 2 weeks later and noticed the right prescription was a little fuzzy, I completely understand and anticipate a break-in period for a new RX but after a week I could tell it was just off. Went in and got gaslighted by the doc, making comments like your RX is so small it shouldnt matter, anyway he gave me a new exam and while telling the employee that it only changed a quarter like it being wrong in the first place was my fault, to go ahead and order a new lens for the frames. 2 weeks later no call so I call back, turns out she never ordered them. Canceled my order and got a full refund, went to visionworks across the street and had a much better experience.

Avoid this place like the plague. Ive been waiting for my glasses to come in for over a month now. I had to call them so they can tell me my glasses were in. Not even the courtesy of calling me to give me an update. Today I came to pick up my glasses, i called again ahead of time to make sure it wouldnt be an issue and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. When I finally showed up because no one answered, they tell me they are locked out of the place they keep their glasses and they do not know when theyll be able to open it....

DO NOT GO HERE!! First time my husband goes here to to get new glasses and his experience was horrible! The doctor checked his eyes for a new prescription and when he was done my husband told him he still couldnt see anything and was responded with oh its ok you just have to adjust to it for a week . Seriously!? The glasses came in 2 weeks later and guess what? He couldnt see anything! They send him home and told him to wear the wrong prescription for a whole week so his eyes adapt to the lense!? He went back with his old prescription from another place to show how drastically the change was, which was way off! They rescheduled him for a new exam 3 weeks out after they had made a mistake! No apologies , no oh well we clearly made a mistake lets squeeze you in ...nothing. New exam showed how bad the doctor clearly messed up. From the exam till today, it took a whole month for him to get his new glasses. Hes had to continue to call to check in on the status of his glasses. no follow ups or updates. Just horrible service and bad doctor. Save yourself the hassle of this and avoid One Hour Optical!!!

First off they are very nice and welcoming and very professional when you go there which is why they get one star. BUT.... The reason I’m only giving them one star is because I got a prescription from them 14 months ago. I have glasses and unfortunately they broke. I had to order new glasses and asked for my prescription. They have it to me but said it expired two months ago and I would need a new prescription. I asked for an extension due to COVID-19 that I cannot come in for a new exam and my eyes have not changed in 14 months. I have had the same prescription for years. They still would not allow me an extension and now I cannot get my glasses without going for an in person exam which I cannot due to COVID and my health conditions. So they have absolutely no care for the health concerns of their customers. I will never recommend this place. It’s not enough to just be nice in person but customer service is everything to the ones you can’t see in person and unfortunately this is something they lack.

So, i just had a TERRIBLE experience!! I am so angry, frustrated and floored by what i just experienced. 1st off let me say that while i worked in a residential treatment facility, this office was where our clients frequented for glasses. I always believed they gave top notch service. Not anymore!!Over the past 4 days i began to experience eye muscle tenderness, soreness and pain behind my left eye. This led to a headache behind my eye and only behind my eye. Yesterday, December 27 the pain was bad enough that i covered my eye and simply rested and took pain meds. First thing Monday morning I began calling around for an appointment. i quickly learned not all clinics treat medical eye conditions. When I called EyeCare I SPECIFICALLY asked if they treated medical eye issues, they said yes. I explained I did NOT need glasses I was experiencing eye muscle pain and a HEADACHE. The receptionist booked my appointment and i went in. There they did the typical COVID temp check and questionnaire. I already stated i had a headache and I suffer from year round allergies and flair-ups so i let them know i have year round congestion. BECAUSE OF THIS I WAS DENIED MY APPOINTMENT for COVID precautions. I couldnt believe it!!! The doctor then had the nerve to say, if this happened in February it would be more understandable about my allergies but not right after Christmas. This past Christmas my 3 kids, my husband and I spent the holiday alone to honor public safety. We have spent EVERY holiday alone this year. Her comment only leads me to believe SHE did not spend the holiday alone. I typically do not write reviews, this is literally my 3rd ever, but I could not believe this happened.1- i asked if they treated medical conditions and they said yes.2- i let them know i had a headache.3- i was honest about my year round-constant congestion.4- Doc assumed i was with others during the holidays.5- I cancelled another appointment I scheduled for tomorrow since this one was earlier.6-When scheduling the appointment i asked about COVID precautions and nothing was said beyond 1 patient per appointment and a mask.7- My temperature was fine!I totally understand we are in a pandemic, i understand people are fearful, but when information is given to you upfront AND you still schedule the appointment then deny said appointment YOU ARE WASTING THE TIME OF OTHERS!!!I am so frustrated and all I learned is, dont tell people you have allergy congestion year round. My time was wasted, my other appointment is no longer available and Im still in pain. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!!You get 1 star because i cant give 0.

One Hour Optical isn’t usually my first choice for eye care but this location was in network with my insurance and close to my house. I’ve been going here for a couple of years now and have had nothing but good experiences with everyone I’ve interacted with. This has included since going back during the pandemic.

My husband had an appointment here yesterday. They told us walking in that they didnt have any appointments for 1 1/2 weeks. When we told them we already had an appointment she said that they wouldve called us but had no phone or email for us. I showed her that I have a confirmation and 2 reminders about out appointment. She said that mustve been a mistake. These girls had no idea what they were doing. Good luck if you decide to use them

Where do I begin, they couldn’t find my insurance info because they were misspelling my name wrong after I repeatedly spelled it out for them, I knew exactly which sunglasses I wanted and I asked if I can pay with Care credit they didn’t know how to do that. They said they would call me back after they reset the password which was back on the 21st I haven’t heard back from anyone the Store Manager of this place is clueless and just rude. I believe I spoke with her on Friday and told me the lady who was handling this isn’t in so wait on her. Waste of my time. I came to this location because I was hoping for a better outcome and better service well I thought wrong. It is the 26th and still have not heard from anyone!

Dear Mr. Pate,Your mother actually saw two doctors at our office and was borderline for passing the DMV requirements both times. We did not refuse her license but required that she take a road test to prove she could drive safely. We dont set the requirements but we do have to follow the law. If she performed better at another office Im glad for her. All people have to share the road as do our children and even though it is inconvenient we do have to think of whats best for everyone. We provided your mother with an honest diagnosis and recommended what we thought was in her best interest. We never filed anything separate with the DMV about your mother. No such form exists as CO is a non-mandatory reporting state.My office has invited your mother to return the glasses for a full refund several times. I even sent a certified letter to her home which she refused to sign for. If she is unhappy with the glasses she is welcome to a full refund however she does need to bring the merchandise back.We are like any other store in this manner. Just like you cant go to Target demanding a refund for the shirt youre wearing, you cant ask for a refund on glasses you dont want to return.Your mother has NEVER spoken to me about her glasses. The only communication Ive had with her was a letter from her stating she wanted a refund for an item she didnt return.Perhaps instead of writing a review for an office and a person youve never met you can help your mother return the glasses so she is able to get a refund.Once again I welcome her to communicate with us and obtain a refund if she is dissatisfied.

DO NOT GO HERE!My 70 year old mother went in to get an eye exam as required by the DMV. Dr Heather Adler told her, falsely, that she has cataracts and will have to get surgery before Dr Adler will sign off on her DMV authorization. Dr Adler filed an incident report which blocked my mother from getting her license. Dr Adler also determined she needs glasses, which my mother bought, and the glasses have her double vision...Dr Adler told her, they take time to get used to ...DUH!After 7 weeks and a second opinion, the State Supervisor had to step in.She was treated excellent by Dr Gene Johnson, go to him! (I dont know where his office is located)

I went For contacts a year ago, i Told them that there contact were bugging me. and they insisted that the first sample they gave me was the one i needed.. after going 2 times and telling them i didnt like the sample they refused saying i just needed eye drops.. 2 different kinds of eye drops and i still didnt like the contact they would irritate my eye site so much i would pop them out with the extreme eye rubbing i would have. extremely uncomfortable they kept calling insisting i needed to order 1 year supply they ordered it collected formMy insurance and still sitting in a drawer after 1 yea... I wasnt happy with this place at ALLLLLL..
