Always get reliable boarding care from Tenaker. We’ve been boarding our dog when we go on vacation for about 7 years and he comes back to us happy and healthy. They always allow us to bring his small crate with a special pillow that helps him feel more at home. One thing we really dislike is that the bordatella vaccine is required every 6 months whereas other facilities only require it every year or when it is expired. Every 6 months can really sneak up on you and it must be done a few days in advance of the stay! One plus of Tenaker is the ability to drop off before hours for an early flight. Have used this on numerous occasions and it’s an AWESOME amenity to utilize for free. Prices are normal.

Reliable. Easy to work with. Took care of my out of town German Shepherd while we were stppong at a not pet friendly hotel for two nights. I loved knowing he got two hours of group play time with the silver package.

The first time I went to this place the service was impeccable. The gentleman that works there even comped me a night when my dogs couldnt get groomed on the correct day. However my second visit with Tenaker Pet care was a nightmare. When I booked the reservation, I was quoted between $550-$650 for my dogs to be booked for a week and receive baths, I should have go that in writing because when I showed up yesterday to pick up my dogs they said I owed them almost $1000!I told the lady that the cost was incorrect, then she reworked the number to say that the dogs were from the same family so that I could get the discount that I was promised when I dropped them off. For some odd reason, she tried to charge my 3 dogs like they were from separate families when I was told the last time I boarded with them that all of my dogs would get the family rates, despite the larger of my dogs getting his own space.In addition to that, I received a voicemail the day prior stating that all of the dogs currently being boarded had been exposed to kennel cough. When I got there to pick the dogs up the young lady working there informed me that there was nothing they could do if my dogs did contract kennel cough, all of this after making me get a second shot of the Bordetella vaccine just to be able to board them there!!!Its very disappointing to go from an amazing hospitable first experience with this facility only to have it ruined by whoever the lady is that works there on Sundays between 5-6pm. Be very careful if you use this place. They have definitely lost my business for good.

Great kennel with a webcam to check on your dog while they are having outside playtime. I always use Tenakers services and at the end of almost every stay I do a grooming service which is always great!

Impressive method of business practices & talk about jumping thru hoops to get paid for services discounted only because referral & gréat juggling between owner office folks & that manager guy now he really is a very special person. Bravo to yall!

We love it here! Staff is very personable and welcoming. Our boy was definitely nervous the first couple of times, but he is getting used to it. When I asked Ryan, the manager, how our dog was doing, he was very responsive! I am happier leaving him at Tenaker for a day instead of at home alone. He lovessss the staff!

First time ever having to drop our pups. At any boarding house. Ever. We were nervous and apprehensive. Not because of them, but we just didnt know how the pups would handle it. Tenaker was above the call of duty. We had some paperwork we needed to do because one pup is a little older and one of our pups needed to get an up-to-date vaccine. Not a problem. We were happy to get it done. We left some blankets with the pups for them to have our smell in a weird place. The staff at Tenaker made them feel right at home and they had a low stress visit. We couldnt let the pups spend time there because of their proclivity to dislike pools, but they have a pool!! Seriously, need to have your pups in a safe, caring environment when youre away? This is the place!

My dog has gone here for 9 years and I have never has any problems. The staff treat the pets with such care.

This is the second time I have picked my dog up and she was wet and smelled really bad. She was wet from dog urine and so was her blanket. They didnt bother trying to clean her up before passing her off to me to get in my car. It makes me wonder how often she was being looked after for the few days I was away or if her kennel was cleaned regularly. I have used this facility for years but the past two times were disappointing.

They were there for me in a pinch when another kennel cancelled on me! Very grateful for how well they cared for my nervous, previously abused rescue dog.

Ended up going here at an odd time because our German Shepherd cut her foot pretty badly on some rocks. They were only ones open and since that visit have stopped going to our other two vets all together. Truly caring staff and prices are very competitive. This place is awsome

The staff was nice when I took my Yorky/Poodle in for a grooming. When I brought him home I noticed a bruise the size of 2 quarters on his back right leg on the outside that had never been there before. He was so glad to see me. I get to take him back to his former groomer in Lakewood, I never had a problem with her. I now live in Aurora. This happened a month ago.

I love Tenaker in Aurora. I have been taking my dogs there for a number of years for boarding and have always been happy with them. When I lost one of my dogs recently, I began taking the other one for day care so she would have other dogs to play with. She loves her day care days! The staff always greets us both warmly by name. The dogs are always having fun and are well supervised when I watch the web cam. Before deciding on Tenaker for day care, I toured several facilities and couldnt find one I liked nearly as well. Tenaker is clean, the staff is cheerful and helpful and best of all, my dog is happy and healthy.

We took our two dogs here over the holidays for 10 days. Their website advertises 24/7 drop off/pick up for easy access to and from the airport. This was not the case at all. We wanted to drop our dog off 4:00 on a Saturday and were told 2:00 was the latest we could drop off on a Saturday, making it very inconvenient as we booked there to drop off on our way to the airport. Also, we wanted to pick up on new years day and were told they were closed all day with no pick up times available and had to pay $57 for the extra night, which I was told we would not be charged for. A boarding facility of this size should have some pick up times available. Most places I have gone to at least offer limited pick up times on holidays.And we were told to bring two blankets for our dogs and they lost both. I asked if I would be compensated for that, especially since one was brand new and was told no. ** Update they found our blankets a week or so later and called to let us know.I will definitely not be going back to this place and would not recommend. Also, our dogs were starving when they came home.

Been a customer for years and plan to keep it that wayUPDATE JULY 2018: new management is horrible. My pets came back gross and stressed. My cats clearly were in disgusting conditions. They were shedding horribly and smelled like they were covered in cat urine. My dog was thin and clearly under fed. We have always loved this place but now I would never go there again after the last visit. I see other reviews stating the same. Get good employees or just go out of business if this is the best you can do.I just took my dog to the vet and he lost 5 lbs in 8 days because tenaker starved him

We use Tenaker on a regular basis for both Vet care and the Day Care. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Hill was a life saver for one of our dogs and the care of the Vet techs are awesome as well. They care deeply for the pets they treat and the owners. The Day Care area is a wonderful plus for us as well and our dog loves the experiences he has every time he is there. I am never concerned when my pets are under the care of these wonderfully caring people!!!!!!!!!!

Tenaker is definitely a great place for your dog when you have to be away for a couple of days or weeks. I had every confidence leaving our dog in their care several times. And now I wish they were closer to us...we moved to Fort Collins and my challenge is to find someone equally good here. Not a small feat to accomplish...Tenaker was the best!

I dropped my dog off for Thanksgiving, a total of 8 days. When I arrived I was informed that my dog had hurt her duwclaw so they wrapped it and waited until we arrived because they knew we were picking her up today. When I was handed her and her bed (that was very wet), blanket (also very wet) and toys they smelled like pee. Never has my dog peed on a bed or in the house, she has been to boarding facilities before and I have never had this problem. By the way she smells and they wetness of the items she must have been in this for more than one day. I understand that dogs get hurt but my dog and her items should not smell like pee. After walking to the car I decided they bed smelt too bad to put into my car and I walked in and asked them to get rid of it. For what I paid for my dog to be taken care of I find this unexceptionable, I am also in the business of caring for others animals and this is not how I would allow an animal or their items to be returned. So now I have a dog that smells like pee, and vets bills because they also did not tell me how this happened to my dog and her claw is missing not torn. After I called to get more information about what happened I spoke to the person that wrapped her foot and handed her and her items to me, come to find out he is the manager. When I asked him why she and her stuff smelt so bad he told me he didnt notice it. When I asked why a vet did not see her I was told that they didnt think she needed to be seen by one.When I asked to have the owner call me he never apologized once. I was refunded half of my payment but that does not fix the fact that my dog smelt like old pee.Like I said before I understand animals get hurt, what upset me the most was that my dog was kept in a dirty kennel and she and all her items smelt like old pee and I had to throw things away.If you love your dog you will take them someplace else.

My dog has been here quite a few times in the past. They have always been great, and Ive never had problems. Their facility is clean. And my Dog loves playing with all the other dogs, and the pool especially is fun for them. I trust them with my dog so much, that even though I now live farther away, I would still drove the extra distance to take him there.

I just started taking my puppy to Tenaker Daycare and I couldn’t be happier! He is always so excited to be there and loves playing with all the other dogs. The people who work there treat each dog with such love and care, which eases my anxiety about leaving my puppy there during my long days at work. I have been going to this Vet for over 4 years now and they have demonstrated the best integrity of any of the other 4 clinics I have used in the area. They have never tried to up charge me and helped me keep my pet in top health.

They also board cats. Customer service is SUPERB and the care of your pet is phenomenal. Its the only place we would take our animals. Our dogs were so happy when we picked them up. It is so nice to enjoy a vacation and KNOW your pet/child is being well taken care of. Thank you Tenaker!

So friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I called them in a panic after I was turned away from another day care my two dogs go to everyday for over a year due to spring break boarding reservations... I was hysterical and going to be late to work and more than 30 minutes from home. They helped me over the phone to get the vaccinations sent to them while I drove over there and had the paperwork ready for me to sign when I arrived! Then I noticed there pricing is at least 40% cheaper than what I have been paying and they offer ALL the same services. So grateful to have found them 🤗

I took my dog to see the vet in November of 2016. My dog got some shots and a few tests done. I spent over $300. The vet told me she would call me with the results in about 3 days. She never did. I would call in to try to get the results and would be told that the vet was too busy to talk to me at that moment and that she would call me. I understood because she probably was very busy. This situation has continued until today 1-7-2017.Today I called again and again I was told that the vet was too busy to take my call so instead one of the assistants gave me the results. She had put me on hold to ask the vet if she could give me the results of the tests and when she got back on the line she started by telling me that the vet said she had left messages on my answering machine and had called me etc. There were no calls on my phone or messages on my answering machine from the vet.Im very disappointed by the conduct of the vet and the treatment Ive received from the other employees at Tenaker Pet Care. Ive gone to this vet for years and have never been treated this way. I would definitely recommend people avoid this place. It was decent in the past, but not now.

My pup and I love Tenaker! Apartment life for a dog and owner can be rough. Having a place where he can go and expend some energy is a God send. They have an amazing group of people who work there. I know when I drop him off, he is in great hands. Their 24/7 drop off makes life so easy. If it wasnt for this place, I dont think I would have been able to have a dog. Its worth every penny!

Tenaker Pet Care Center is amazing! My dog absolutely LOVES her Dr. Reyes and would be so excited shed cry and pee to see her!!! This clinic also was very accommodating and friendly. I feel like they went out of their way to provide outstanding care for my baby as well as make sure I could afford her care and treatment when ill. I will never go anywhere else. They care!!

When I called they were able to see our dog within the hour. She was a stray that we were adopting and we need to get her shots. Everybody was very caring and understanding with Sandi. We are going back in 3 weeks for additional care for her after the groomer takes care of her.

Due to circumstances during my move to colorado, I had to leave the kids with Tenaker for almost 5 months! :( I am extremely happy to say they were well looked after. The staff are sweethearts and I could tell by my two cats demeanor during the times when I visited and finally took them home, they were taken care of. My fiancé took our dog Watson in for the first time for a check up and to get some vaccinations, he couldnt stop talking about what a wonderful and loving experience our dog had. They took there time to make Watson feel comfortable before, during, and after the exam. Our dog is our child and we are so happy to have finally found a vet that we like and will continue to take him to Tenaker!

I have been taking my dog here for day care and boarding for the past couple weeks since moving into the area and have been overly impressed with the staff and the facility. The availability to pick up and drop off my dog 24 hours a day has made the boarding very easy as I travel a lot for work and the friendliness of the staff along with their willingness to go the extra mile to care for my dog will keep me bringing my dog back for as long as I am in the area

Flawless customer service. The girls behind the desk are extremely friendly and personable. In the countless times weve boarded our huskies here, weve never had issues. Highly recommended and just off the highway near the airport so also very convenient when flying out of state.

We have used Tenaker 3 times and each time is fantastic. The staff really make you feel welcomed as soon as you enter. Our 2 dogs love the outdoor playtime and socializing with the other dogs. Thumbs up Tenaker.

I have used Tenaker a few times now and I couldnt be happier. Their rates are fair and the staff appear to be very caring and responsive. Keep in mind that pets require vaccinations at Tenaker, and when using Rover there are NO requirements. Thats scary. For the price, just use Tenaker.

I took my 2 cats to Tenaker for the first time when they both got colds(!) upon recommendation by the person that takes care of them when Im out of town. They were treated very nicely and I received excellent treatment advice. I believe the clinic is a fairly recent construction, it was clean and well mananged. The prices are also very reasonable compared to other places where theyve been patients.

I do not board my dogs but have used Tenaker for training and behavior modification. Ron was the only trainer who was willing to take on my aggressive dog, who couldnt be taken out on a leash. Ron went above and beyond what any other trainer would have in order to help me and my dog. I had other trainers tell me that my dog could not be helped and that he should be put down. My dog is now a UKC Grand Champion, has multiple Best in Shows, is involved in many activities like Dock Diving, lure coursing, weight pull, and is enjoying life like he should. I hope to start Rally training with him soon!

They were nice about canceling my reservation, but go in the back and look at the conditions of the kennels before you leave your pet there. Its deafeningly loud. Its really like federal prison for dogs. They get a crappy dirty bed to sleep on and the run is so tiny and dank. Use rover or find a friend to watch your pets.

These ladies are super awesomesauce. The whole staff is very friendly, and actually love each animal there. They have a vet, daycare, boarding facility, and even a trainer, and groomer. I will definitely be going with them forever.

I have been a client here for several years now and will never leave. The receptionists, technicians and doctors here are knowledgeable, caring and efficient. They know my pets by name when we pop in. After I had to euthanize one cat for diabetic complications, I received a hand written card. It meant a lot that my doctor remembered the story I had told her of how I found him. They always handle my fur babies with care. At other hospitals my pets seemed highly stressed and were covered in their own drool (not common for my babies). Here they are always loving with the staff and the staff is patient in kind in return. I cannot recommend Tenaker enough.

I just moved here from California. It has been a difficult transition for my dog to say the least. I have tried 3 other doggie day cares before this one and hands down it has the nicest staff, the cleanest facility AND the best prices! I was so impressed with the patience & kindness of all the staff there and my dog came home happier than he has at any other day care. When my Shepard got cancer the staff at Tenaker went above and beyond to keep her going. Because of them we had her for another year. My Husky who lived for thirteen years was in no small part due to the care she received at Tenaker. When the time came as it always does for the critters you love the compassion the girls got from the staff made things just a bit easier.Now I have another Husky and a little one of dubious lineage. I would not think of taking them anywhere else.

Never going there again! I took my dog there last year when I had to fly out of town for two weeks (left Monday, back Friday) for my new job. She ended up getting something while being boarded there. No one could give reason for it and now after many vet trips, I have to take her in for a rhino-scope to find the cause of what she got. This is frustrating.I would not make a big deal about my dog but then my sister took her dog to Tenaker not to long ago while my sister was unable to take care of the dog because of health reasons. When my sister was finally able to, brought the dog home and a few days later the dog started making an awful noise. Turns out the dog got kennel cough! My sister took the dog to the vet at which point the vet called Tenaker to see if other dogs had it only to find out that my sisters dog couldnt have gotten kennel cough from another dog...because her dog was never let out of the kennel!!! Are you kidding me??? Never again!!!

We take our dog Apollo here quite often. Between the groomer and the people who work in the daycare - they really care for & about your dog. They treat them just like their own.

Ive been taking my dog here for a month. Doggie day care is reasonably price when bought in 20 day packs. ($16/day). The staff are great, they know the dogs by name and personality. The only problem I ever had there was my dog got a bite on the face from another dog playing too rough. They called me right away, and treated him at the co-located vet for free. They turned the negative of my dog being bitten into a positive with communication and fair treatment. Id recommend them any day.

The counter person that greeted my dogs is very nice and gentle. Installed webcam $5.38 for a yr. Webcam view of three areas: playgrounds 1, 2 and concrete playground. Viewed for about an hour saw my dogs for a second. Many blind spots camera does not show. View is not very clear and seems far. Be great if the camera could capture all blind spots, and have a better quality video. Fun to watch the dogs.

All the staff were sympathetic and concerned about making Buddy comfortable and giving him solutions for his health issues. After our initial visit, we had a few conversations and questions that were to be answered but I didnt get the promised call back. However, recently there has been a great change in the follow through. I think they are doing a great job and will continue to trust them with our little guy! And the health problems are all resolved! Initially moved to Tenaker after a year of frustration at our old place. So glad to have found a good vet so close to us!

Ive taken my dog to this clinic for the last 3 years and will never take him here again. I always wondered why the vets kept changing, but didnt let this sway me from bringing him here b/c it was close to our home and the vets were fine. 4 months ago my dog had an infected cut that was treated here. He was examined by the vet and had some very expensive tests conducted as well. Luckily, he healed well and the labs revealed he was healthy. But the visit cost over $300. I just realized his vaccinations were outdated so I took him back today to get the distemper and lepto vaccines and they refused to treat him without examining him since the vet staff had changed and now their policies are different. I argued that he couldve had his vaccinations when I came in 4 months ago, and they agreed with this, but still refused to give them to him without an exam. The vet said, you are paying me for my time, so we are charging you for the exam if you want his vaccinations. I couldnt believe it! After keeping me waiting 20 minutes past my appointment, which I arrived early for, they refused to vaccinate my dog b/c the vet wanted to make more money examining him. They only require one exam per year, and he several labs done and had a much more comprehensive exam than she wouldve given him, yet they wanted to examine him again. I expressed my disappointment and said that I would never bring him back here again, since they refused to vaccinate him even though he just had a comprehensive workup 4 months ago, and isnt due for another exam for 8 more months. They didnt even apologize for keeping me waiting. Also, I had a neighbor that hated his place after boarding his dog here. He said his dog bit the caretaker, which is very out of character for his dog. I used to take care of his dog when he was away, and his dog was very sweet and mild mannered. Ive never boarded my dog here, but based on his recommendation, the constant changing of vet staff, and my experience today, I wont be going back. They obviously lack respect and care for customer relationships and just care about making money.

Our Chihuahua Draco has been a patient at Tenekar for 7 years. They have always been very kind, caring and through. I take him for nail clips and his reguar well dog exams. A few times I have requested a visit for a problem and they got him in the same day. I am happy with this vet. I have never used the day care program but the pictures posted show happy dogs swimming in a pool just for them and playing happily. I have never heard distressed barking or chaos coming from that complex.

Keeping our fur babies healthy is one of our most important concerns. When the need for extra care in times of illness you want only the best for your furry friend. We have been taking our dogs, shhhh dont tell them they are dogs; to Tenaker for over 15 years. The care is top notch, the professional care they receive is the best available and the staff genuinely cares about your furry friend. The icing on the cake is that Tenaker isnt going to send you into bankruptcy if your friend is seriously ill. We had Shadow, who had Addisons and we took him each month to get his injection. Yes it was expensive, but it made Shadow happy and able to deal his disease. What else is there to say?

Not a fan. I should have stopped taking my dog here after they forgot to put him in the 24 hour holding area. I went to go pick him up after a business trip and had to come back the next day. I was worried sick thinking something had happened to him since they dont answer their phone or have an emergency line when they are closed. But I gave them a second chance and continued to bring him to daycare 1-2 times a week, until I discovered that they were not letting him out during the play times via the online webcams. He never went back after that. Club Pet DIA has much better customer service.
