No appointment for a new customer. They said it was over a month until their first available appointment. Not only that but the woman who answered the phone sounded almost very happy that they couldnt do an appointment for over a month. Oh well, guess I will find a business that would be happy to take my business.

I was referred through the veterans affairs and to be honest this was the single best treatment and experience I have ever received from anything the va had to do with. The staff are above reproach the office is emaculate the welcoming staff is knowledgeable helpful and friendly and the doctors and assistants to the doctors all are the same. Im blown away and couldnt be happier. I would most certainly recommend this location to anyone reading this and I hope I get to return to them for all my eyeglasses and vision needs. Thank you all about eyecare team. You all make everything amazing.

Thoroughly disappointed after reading all the positive reviews. Scheduled my annual checkup for contacts. The reminder text the morning of explicitly stated to stay in my car and wait to be called inside. There was also a giant banner on the front of the business stating the same thing. About 25 minutes after my scheduled time, they finally called me and asked if I was still coming. When I got inside, the receptionist seemed amused at the idea that I waited outside instead of just coming in...despite their instructions to the contrary.Doctor then conducted the entire exam without allowing me to remove or lower my mask. This was problematic because I was constantly fogging up the machine, forcing us to stop after each slide to wait for the fog to clear.The doctor recommended a new brand of contact lens. Im not married to my brand, so I said sure. She provided me the single sample pack for each eye and stated Id need to follow up in a week to see if they fit. I explained that Ive been wearing contacts for the better part of a decade and would know if I had an issue and did not want to have to come back for a second appointment.When my follow up was coming up, I called to inform the doctor that I was happy with the fit of the lenses and wanted to fill the prescription. I didnt get to speak with the doctor, and whoever I did speak with advised that I should keep the appointment because then I could simply fill my prescription at the same time. So I show up, do the follow up, which was basically just the doctor asking me if the lenses were comfortable...which is the pointless encounter I wanted to avoid. And then, to make matters even less convenient, I was informed that they only had one box of my prescription in stock...meaning a third visit to pick them up.So today, more than 3 weeks later, I finally call them to see what the hold up is. No answer, so I left a message. Over an hour goes by, so I text their text line and ask if anyone is going to call me. They finally call and tell me that my contacts have been in since Sept. 2 and that they had texted me. I never received that text, but even if it was sent, no follow up for a prescription thats been sitting on the shelf for almost a month?I went in and picked up my lenses, but this solidified that my first time using this office will most definitely be my last.And on an ironic note, the same receptionist that chuckled at me for not coming right in, instructed a customer today to wait outside until being called in.Main reason its not a 1-star review is that the office was clean, and despite my annoyance at a doctor not letting me move my mask to properly evaluate the ONLY thing Im there to have checked, she was pleasant and professional.

I was a first-time patient with Dr. Ruth for this appointment, and I had a thoroughly great experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Ruth is awesome; shes super nice and gave the best eye exam Ive had in years. The offices covid policies were thorough as well, and I felt very safe having my exam here.

All About Eye Care is a phenomenal practice. Dr. Ruth is outstanding and makes you feel like you are her main priority and she takes the time to talk to you and listens. I have been going to All About Eye Care for a few years now and as long as I live here I will not go anywhere else, unless Im referred out. During the Covid-19 the office is taking extreme precaution and is doing a wonderful job at keeping staff and patients safe. The communication and follow up is above and beyond. I had the most amazing experience here, more then Ive ever had at any doctors in a long time. I broke my glasses and they were able to get me in quickly, they were extremely friendly. Dr. Ruth was nice, easy to talk to, personable, and very thorough. The exam she gave me was the most thorough eye exam I have ever had and she really took the time to listen and test everything. After the exam, one of the girls upfront, I forgot her name 😭,helpes me pick out my new glasses which was so helpful and saved me a lot of time.I definitely recommend this office to anyone and everyone

This office is disorganized with no one seeming to be in charge. The front office staff seems bothered to be at work and dealing with patients, and Dr. Ruth, while kind in nature might be in over her head-owning the business and being the doctor. I couldnt be more pleased with All About Eyecare. Everyone I spoke to was so helpful and kind. Dr. Ruth was SO wonderful and took such great care of me. I was a first time patient and she was able to diagnose my eye issue and took the time to call around to refer me to a specialist who was able to see me that same day and who took my insurance. I could not have received better care.

A wonderful experience all around. Dr. Ruth was great. She spent a good amount of time explaining and answering all of my questions. They even helped me pick out a good looking set of glasses. The woman up front were also very helpful. Also it helped that my eyes were able to adjust so well to the girls up front if you can read between those lines.

I felt that this eye exam was the most thorough Ive ever experienced. The expertise in helping me select my new frames also felt more thorough than one of those vision centers that advertise 2 for one deals and such.

Most optometrists that Ive visited are money-grubbing charlatans. My experience with Dr. Ruth and All About Eyecare couldnt be further from that.Dr. Ruth spent almost twice as long as any optometrist Ive seen, examining my eyes, telling me what she found, explaining everything, and presenting multiple options for glasses / contacts and allergy eye drops. She also showed me various options possible to get my vision close to 20-20, suggesting astigmatism contacts.Im a customer for life. Dr. Ruth is always friendly, Im seen right away, and I never felt that she was concerned with anything besides diagnosis and finding me the best prescription, and contacts to suit me.Their rates on glasses are quite reasonable as well.EDIT: Ill add that when I go back to check new contact lenses I try, Dr. Ruth spends as much time examining the contacts, my eyes, and testing my vision as my initial visit. When Ive had contacts checks before, they consisted of, Do they feel good, Yes, Good. Instead, Dr. Ruth tested my vision rigorously, and made further adjustment.Im not exaggerating in telling you that I have _never_ seen this clearly in the 15 years Ive been wearing contacts. Im a customer for life.Ive now been back for several visits, and remain completely satisfied with Dr. Ruth and her team: friendliness, professionalism, and commitment to my eye health and vision needs.

Placed an order for eye glasses. They can in and were the wrong prescription. They refused to have them remade without me paying for another pair, and claimed it was my fault that prescription was wrong.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Ruth since 1999, and enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and personable vision care specialist. Dr. Ruth always takes the time to explain any potential problems found during the exam, and offers solutions that make sense for my specific needs. For example, because I work on a computer all day, Dr. Ruth recommended a UV coating and amber tint for my glasses. These have reduced my eye strain considerably, and I go home feeling a lot less tired at the end of the day. Her office staff is top-notch, efficient, and willing to help in every way possible. Ive referred several of my co-workers to Dr. Ruth over the years, and all continue to be very happy with the care they receive.

I am severely nearsighted. Ive had eye doctors comment on how bad my eyes are and one doctor gave me the wrong prescription. Dr. Ruth is the only doctor who has quickly and easily pinpointed my prescription. The staff is friendly and helpful, the office is easy to find and access. I have referred several people to All About Eyecare and they love it as well. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

My wife got a better frame and same exact lenses for hundreds of dollars cheaper at Warby Parker paying out of pocket then if She used insurance at this office, they had better customer service all around at Warby Parker. Dr. Ruth is the most caring doctor around. If you are nervous about a problem she will get you in right now. She doesnt make you wait. I really enjoyed Dr. Bretz. She was thorough, friendly and informative. I have had mixed experiences in the past. Generally, the doctors are nice but the staff wasnt. This time I had a positive overall experience. The only feedback I would give is that patients time is as valuable as the doctors or staff so being on time would be helpful especially when no one else is in the office. Show some urgency.

You got to be kidding this place is so screwed up you’ll be wasting your time because your glasses go to Midland optical in Omaha which is a totaL loser.And Midland couldn’t get the prescription in my lenses three times I was told that they didn’t pass inspection. Just forget about these people they’re not there to help you they are there to frustrate you.

Dr. Ruth Scholten Lellbach and her organization are consistently the best opthalmological care office I have ever experienced, even counting incredible care received years ago at the USAFA. Only for a short time was there a male front office person who was disagreeable, but he is long gone. Dr. Ruth keeps up with new technology and skills like no other place Ive been, so I am confident my eyes from cornea to fovea are under the best care. She keeps me in good humor, both aqueous and vitreous. I would travel to this office from out of state if I ever move away from Aurora.

Fast, friendly staff, explains everything and tells you what you will have to pay for up front & lets you decide if you want to pay extra for certain services, glasses upgrades or contacts not covered by insurance. Dr Ruth Scholten Lellbach, is very through and found issues with my daughters eyes on 2 separate occasions that required surgery & missed by other specialists. She is the best & worth the travel to see her.
