This is by far the best practice for colon and rectal issues. I have been seeing Dr. Schertzer for 18 years and I have to declare she is the very best among doctors. The nurses are professional and caring and will treat patients with compassion and care.

Dr. Schertz stood me up for 2 appointments. I was very kindly directed to Dr. King who was promptly directed to let me go.Dr. Shertzer is rude. And I still suffer, I am also paralyzed.

After getting the call that I had Colon Cancer I was crazy about what to do or how to have it done. Dr. Ambroze took time to explain the options to my wife and myself. He did not rush us and we had plenty of questions during out first visit. His post operative care in the Hospital was excellent always willing to listen and never without a smile.I do not wish cancer surgery on anyone, but if you have the need this is the man to do the job.I am four years post op and his follow up care has continued at the same high level. For the most part I never wait more than 15 minutes in his office for an appointment.The world could use more fine men like this in general and especially as a surgeon.

Dr. Ambrose explained all my options in detail and took the time to make sure I understood what each meant. He could not have been more caring at what I was facing. He took time to answer all mine and my wifes questions. All went well. Great Surgeon. He tells it like it is and thats what I wanted.

Dr. Ambroze is a fine surgeon who explained my sons condition to him at length. Our appointments never felt rushed and he also educated us well on his post-op care. His surgical skills are top-notch. You KNOW someone is really good when other doctors use him as their own surgeon!

This is the one of the finest surgical centers in Atlanta. The doctors and nurses there are the ultimate professionals— caring, attentive, and so so kind!! Highly recommend them..

We had great experience Dr. Ambroze and hes staff members did will take care my son. They was very kind and show a care to my child especially nurses and front desk staff members. Its only a one problem is waiting time besides that is great experience and I do highly recommend Dr. Ambroze.

Dr. Ambroze performed surgery on my daughter a few days ago and our experience with him was nothing less than perfect. Dr. Ambroze was highly recommended by my daughters GI group. He was very informative and took the time to answer any questions that we had. Throughout the surgery we were kept informed of how things were going with phone calls from the nurse in the operating room. After the surgery, he met me at my daughters hospital room and explained in great detail how things went. Im somewhat shocked by the negative reviews and comments about him not spending enough time explaining things, didnt say much etc. Please keep in mind that he is a SURGEON and not a customer service representative.

I went to the office of Dr. Ambroze to become a new patient. The first time there I was required to fill out new patient information forms. When called by the nurse(?) I was called by an entirely different last name. I explained they were not using my correct name.After waiting about 15 minutes for Dr. Wayne Ambroze, he arrived to simply greet me, also calling me by the WRONG name. With out any contact, other than shaking hands, and absolutely no exam, he directed me to another person for a paper handout explaining the colonoscopy procedure. I was told that another person would call me to make an apppointment.In my opinion, his office, and the doctor himself, are very disorganized and lack any semblance of professionalism.Since they were unable to correct something as simple as my last name, 10 minutes after telling them what it was on five separate sheets of paper, I chose not to allow Dr. Ambroze to perform any procedure on myself.My insurance company told me that Dr. Ambroze has sent them (and me) a bill for $400.00. I called his billing service and they said, yes, he charges everyone for meeting him whether a procedure is performed or not.I have reported Dr. Wayne Ambroze to the proper authorities for fraud and abuse.Do yourself a favor and do NOT employ Dr. Wayne Ambroze as your physician.
