Was referred by my gynecologist but couldnt even make an appointment without a written referral, transferred patient records, and lab results that clearly show an issue. Well call you if the doctor will see you. Not an insurance requirement, just their policy. Was told that they dont deal with any patients that need any assistance with weight loss. I was specifically looking for assistance because I have multiple symptoms of a thyroid issue but its not coming across in lab results. I was told they probably wouldnt take it before talking to an actual medical professional. Useless.

Got a call from my fiancée, crying on the phone due to the way she was treated just recently. Rude approach and unacceptable. If this is the way patients are treated then I recommend no one to go here further on. And the reason for this whole situation? Fiancée was late, that was it.Patients, go somewhere else in future.

The front staff are very friendly. I see Dr Zora and just love his beside manners and knowledge as he cares for my diabetes. He includes me in the decision making process which makes me an active partner in my own healthcare. He is excellent at supporting me whether its a congratulations or gently guiding me as in do you think you might could consider this as an alternative? I have gotten more of my family members into see him and they love his care as well. My A1C has gone from 11+ to 5.4 under his care.

Very rude and unprofessional staff, especially Kirsten and the check in area for the Covid19. She’s beyond rude, nasty attitude no sense of work ethic. Leaning on the front with hear pieces. The practice manager Darrell Brayten has no sense of management at all. I have a 2 issues one with scheduling and been treated very poorly and rude over the phone and now his front staff at Kristen (Covid19 area). He always makes excuses and never apologizes for his rude staff. He makes no since of making things better for the patient, always has excuse for his horrible staff management. Poor management.

Dealing with Dr. Shah and her medical assistant Judy are the worst I have ever come across. These folks know nothing about Thyroid disorder, I question their ability to care for patients with this disorder. I recently had a thyroid storm and these individuals didn’t know what to do or how to treat me medically. I had to seek medical attention from my PCP when my Endocrinologist should have known what to do. I question that is she really a Endocrinologist? Because my PCP actively treated me and I received relief immediately. I’m grateful that I have medical background to know where to go when my immediate Dr/ Endocrinologist couldn’t help me. I feel sorry for the patients that solely rely on this Doctor for treatment if you are currently under her care I suggest you find another facility immediately before something happens to you that can’t be reversed. Having a Thyroid Disorder is a serious illness if not treated appropriately it could cause your demise, so I suggest that you take these words seriously. This is not a joke true story this is what happened to me. I’m now under the care of another Doctor that has great skills and knowledge about Thyroid Disorders and very confident in this new facility.

Dr. Derr became my endocrinologist when I was pregnant with my now 8 year old daughter. She guided me through my pregnancy and has remained my physician. I drive from East Cobb to see her when I know there is an doctor closer. She is the best!
