So thankful for Dr. Sinervo and the entire staff at the CEC. I have never received better medical care. They are the best and Dr. S gave me so much of my life back. I flew from Toronto just to have surgery with him. He believed my pain when other doctors didn’t. I am so grateful to him!

The most caring doctors, nurses and staff I’ve ever encountered. They took my pain very seriously and provided me with exceptional care. I traveled 7 hours ( 14 hours round trip) to see Dr.Sinervo and I’m so glad that I did. I have one more surgery to get through but I have no worries, I know I’m in excellent care.

Making the decision to come to the CEC for surgery is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had surgery with Dr. Sinervo in March 2020 for endometriosis, and then decided to have surgery an additional surgery in January 2021 for adenomyosis. Like so many other endometriosis/adenomyosis patients, my symptoms were dismissed for years (I have no idea how many doctors I saw)— I started falsely believing that what I was feeling was normal and I just needed to be stronger and push harder. At 34 my symptoms intensified, I knew something was truly wrong, and I decided to fight for my health. Long story short: I convinced myself that I had endometriosis and I found the CEC. Dr. Sinervo was the first physician to ever fully listen to what I was experiencing, to make me feel heard and my symptoms validated. He is a phenomenal surgeon, and the compassion and love that Wendy (his surgical assistant) has shown me through both of these surgeries brings me to tears. The entire team at the CEC is amazing. You’re not just a number or just another patient to them, you’re a real person with real symptoms whom they really want to help. These two surgeries have given me my life back, and I couldn’t be more thankful. I am writing this review 2 weeks post op and I already feel better than I have in years. /// If you’re a prospective CEC patient reading these reviews and wondering if you should make an appointment — yes, you should. Your endo symptoms are real, what you’re experiencing is not normal, and the CEC will be there for you every step of the way. Please also do your research and read about the difference between ablation and excision for endometriosis (there is a lot of great info about this on their website) and why going to a skilled endometriosis surgeon, like Dr. Sinervo and his colleagues, is so important.

I literally dont have words for how amazing the CEC and Dr. Sinervo have been for me. It has literally been life changing after suffering with this disease for 13 years I was finally able to find a place where my concerns mattered and where I was truly treated like a patient.Dr. Sinervo and all of the staff were genuinely concerned about my wellbeing and always made time to listen and help me in any way possible. I never in my life thought I could receive care like this for Endometriosis and only 2 weeks post-op and I have already seen a big difference. To anyone considering seeking treatment here DO IT! It was the best decision I have ever made for my health. The CEC was wonderful. Dr. Sinervo is a life changer. Before surgery he actually prayed for me and my husband and it meant so much to us. I have spent my life in many hospitals through many surgeries both with myself and my mother who is severely disabled and I have not had a better experience with a medical professional.Thank you CEC & Dr. Sinervo for everything youve done and being able to treat me when no one else did. You are a true blessing and I cant say enough good about you all.** EDIT: I am now 6 months post-op. My pain level has been cut down by at least 3/4 after everything healed. This surgery literally changed my life and has made my endometriosis manageable with small efforts such as heating pads and essential oils. Thank you again to the CEC for changing my life and healing my condition!

There are not enough words to describe my time at the CEC. Dr. Arrington was my surgeon. When I arrived there, I was immediately put at ease. He was kind, understanding, and completely honest. On surgery day, he and his assistant surgeon stayed by my side until I was put under. They were absolutely amazing. Any time I had questions, they’ve returned my calls with answers. While I hope I never have to go back, I would in a heartbeat if it was necessary! I’m so thankful for my experience. I’ve been relatively pain free since my surgery. Life is back to normal!

I have waited a few months to write this, because I wanted to give honest feedback for those dealing with Endo, because I was scared after previous surgeries. My surgery was the end of August and my life has significantly improved for the better! Dr. Arrington and staff(especially Wendy) were absolutely amazing and I cannot express enough gratitude for this team. I am beyond thankful that I took this leap and found the best care I could! The CEC is helping create coverage and expanding knowledge about this disease, while helping their patients, and while a few mild set backs have come up, my life is better than I ever expected after this surgery! With many women out there who deal with this, I would recommend the CEC without a doubt!

I cannot thank Dr. Ken Sinervo and his team enough! This is by far the one of best surgeons In the world and leading expert in endometriosis care. Not only is he an outstanding doctor and a gifted surgeon, but a truly caring human being. He explained thoroughly every part of the surgery and compassionately listened to my story during the pre op appointment; he made sure no leaf was unturned. The day of surgery he spent time praying with me and held my hand as I was falling asleep. I work in healthcare and do not know a single person who does this for their patients. He gave me my life back and forever grateful!I also have to give a shout out to his whole staff as well, his nurse Brittany was great, surgery scheduler and front desk staff are kind and well organized. ❤️I could continue on about CEC but I’ll leave it here, do not hesitate to come for an opinion here if you suffer with endometriosis!

Dr. Sinervo and his staff are AMAZING! I had excision surgery with him back in 2016. He and his staff are very compassionate and caring. I live in the Atlanta area and when came into the office for the first time ever for a in office visit every single staff member was super sweet and made me feel welcome! I met with Dr. Kongoasa which is Dr. Sinervo’s old assistant doctor and he spent almost 2 hours with me listening to my story and got to know me and then he told me he thought I needed to have surgery and that they would have the surgery scheduler call me to book. Before my surgery Dr. Sinervo prayed for me and that God would help us during the surgery and that my pain would be resolved. While I was going under anesthesia Dr. Sinervo held my hand to help me relax as I was being put under which definitely helped me be a little less nervous. I am in need of a hysterectomy and have already began looking into having Dr. Sinervo do it for sure cause he’s a very skilled surgeon and I trust him for sure! If anyone out there is looking for a good excision surgeon I highly recommended Dr. Sinervo and his team! They are the best!

If youre questioning going for an appointment - go. The best decision I have ever made. For years, my OBGYN said my menstrual pain was normal. I went to sinervo and I truly do not recommend. Find someone who will follow up. He was supposed to do excision but did some ablation as well which is what he preaches against. He did the surgery and didn’t even come to check when I had a horrible anesthesia reaction, just left the nurses who panicked. Hours later when a different hospital doc came in her freaked out at the crazy amount of painkillers I was given. I called a month later because my endo was worse and he couldn’t help because he was going on vacation. He recommended some crappy birth control and never called back. I couldn’t continue to try to call again. My endo progressed right after the surgery and now it’s so much worse. He never called back he did his surgery and he was done. Please do your research before investing in this big surgery.

A week and a half after surgery I was feeling better than I had in such a long time even though I was still recovering! After 11 years of tests and specialists and mysterious pain, I finally had an answer and felt so vindicated from when the multiple OBGYNs said my pain was normal or that they werent convinced I had endo. I was ready to accept that this pain would be a part of my life, but thanks to a last ditch effort Google search, I found Center for Endometriosis Care. The entire process has been easy and pleasant from the phone records review all the way to the post op visit. Everyone that I have met at the Center has been extremely kind and helpful. Dr. Kongoasa made me feel understood and validated. He hugged me after every visit, prayed with me before surgery, and he and Nurse Wendy held my hands as I went under anesthesia - it was the best patient care Ive experienced. They know what they are doing and they do it very well. I am thankful that there are Centers like this for women to turn to. One month post op and so far so great! Thank you Dr. Kongoasa and the rest of the staff for helping me get to a much better quality of life!

I would give them 100 stars if I could. After multiple, local (to me) gynecologists said that I would always battle (and be in some level of pain from) endo, would need surgery for endometriosis every 18-24 months, and was likely infertile, I chose to instead travel to see Dr. Sinervo. He performed my excision surgery on June 24, 2010. Prior to surgery, I was in constant 24/7 extreme pain that I now know firsthand is equal to drug-free childbirth. From the moment I woke up in recovery, I knew that the endo was gone. I woke up feeling better than when I had gone into the OR, and it only improved from there. Once I recovered from the surgery, it was as if he had handed my entire life back to me.I was pain free for 4.5 years after my excision in 2010, during which time I conceived my child with no effort. In 2014, I developed symptoms of a different condition and traveled back to him for his surgical expertise. After my previous success with seeing him for care, I simply did not feel comfortable having surgery with another gynecologist - even if it wasnt for endo this time. The surgery in 12/2014 found *no endometriosis anywhere* (it had not come back after the excision with him 4.5 years earlier!!) and confirmed his earlier suspicion that I might also have a condition called adenomyosis. After recovery from the surgery for adenomyosis, and some pelvic physical therapy (recommended by Dr. Sinervo), Ive continued to do incredibly well. Im currently 6.5 years out from endometriosis, my ovaries cycle right along every month, and I have no pain or other symptoms of endometriosis whatsoever. Dr. Sinervo is an extremely caring & compassionate physician who has forever changed my life. His surgical skills are top rate. The nurses are wonderful and the front office staff worked very hard to make it affordable and offered me a generous monthly payment plan. I had great care at the hospital that he operates out of as well. THANK YOU for giving me my life back! My family and I are forever grateful!

I had extensive surgery on Dec/2015- my Dr. is awesome! Dr. Sinervo has an incredible bedside manner... He truly cares about his patients wellbeing. The whole staff is amazing and knowledgeable-- they know me by name!! They are very dependable about completing paperwork; returning calls and checking on my progress. I was in chronic pain 25 days of a month (stage 4 endometriosis for 22 years)when I first called the office on September/2015- because another Dr. from another practice had just recommended hysterectomy over the phone.I was in absolute distress and Alex at CEC took the time to talk to me that day - I will never forget it! Hysterectomy was never an option for Dr. Sinervo. Today, 5 months later, I have been back to work for a month; I only have manageable pain for 2 days during the menses. Thank you Dr. Sinervo and staff at CEC!!
