I read the bios and was already impressed. But the time, the professionalism, friendliness and talent just blown me away. I’ve never had any experience as GREAT as this was! I left the salon wondering how they managed to stay under the radar. That was my first time and I’m a regular now. Like seriously took his time to give me something better than I expected. Everyone leaving that salon should’ve been letting them know how good they were!

Great for natural haircare!!! They handle hair so gently and carefully, and I always leave satisfied!! They have helped me embrace my natural 4c hair and get it back healthy and moisturized.

2021 Update: *sigh* I was really rooting for this place. But the lack of communication (!!) with a very bad phone system that always goes to voicemail that no one answers... to me trying to reschedule an appointment and the stylist does not reply back to me after multiple days... *sigh* is all I can leave as a review. Disappointed as this is a place I used to think so highly of, but customer service is a key factor to a thriving business and an enjoyable consumer experience.I had such a fabulous visit the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I walked in and everyone greeted me, offered me water and candy, and took my jacket. I got my hair dyed for the very first time with a silk press and trim. Akili was my stylist and she’s going to be my stylist forever! Such a sweet and caring woman and she tells you why she is doing what she is doing. Even though I had many questions, she answered them willingly which I do truly appreciate. This is a black-owner family business and I love this place so much. Thank you for such a great experience. Each visit I was pleased and left feeling like I was the best looking girl on the block! I often felt very frustrated trying to find a salon who knew my hair type. My hair is natural but TAG knew exactly what products to use to get the best results. They even gave me great counsel on my in between maintenance hair regimen and hair do’s! Can’t thank them enough for not only the great service but making me feel like a million bucks!

I recently went back for an appointment with someone new. Elisha really gives an EXPERIENCE. She treated my hair at the shampoo bowl for about 35 min (which I loved & enjoyed the most.) she takes her time massaging the scalp. Her convo was simple & sweet yet genuine. My bone straight blowout & trim really pretty. My only concern is my curl pattern because she went over it twice with the flat iron. Hopefully it won’t damage over time because with the last girl at Tags it did. That’s why I stopped coming.

I really like the way Amir does my hair. He is funny and knows his craft. I will keep going to him next service will be some color.

Before my visit to TAG Concept Salons I read a number of reviews from various customers, who have showered the stylists with numerous compliments. I must say that they were absolutely spot-on in their reviews, for this salon did NOT disappoint. They were very professional and extremely sweet. I was treated with the utmost respect by everyone.Amir dyed my curls for me, and I was most satisfied. He knew exactly what color would match what I had in mind. In addition to being quite friendly, he provided quality service all throughout. Im happy to say that he made this woman very proud of my final look. And judging by the final looks of the other clientele, in the seats of other stylists, I dont think you can go wrong with any of the stylists.

I have been to all different styles of salons BUT TAG Concept Salon without a doubt made my dry hair silky smooth with a beautiful shine. I have never seen my hair look this beautiful in years. Ive never been to the salon, but my cousin sent me some of the products as a gift. I used all those up and keep coming back for more. The conditioners (especially Curl Therapy) are the best Ive ever used on my natural 3C/4B hair. Ive tried so many products, and its rare to get volume, definition, and softness from a conditioner at the same time. Curl Therapy does the job and, while a bit pricey, is worth every penny. One of these days Ill get dow to ATL for a visit to the salon.

Every time I go in there I feel welcomed and they take very great care of your hair. They have you in and out on a reasonable time.

Best natural hair salon experience Ive ever had. My 14 year old daughter, who has fear of curling irons, also had nothing but praises for how comfortable she was with her hairdresser because she could not feel any burning during the process unlike with other places we have visited. My only concern was that she was abandoned by her hairdresser half way through the process when the gentleman told her he would be right back and took more than an hour before returning. My daughter only got another hairdresser when I asked about it. Management should be more hands on to avoid a great salons reputation brought down by an uncaring staff member.

Didnt get the stylist I wanted due to scheduling conflict, but I was still pleased with my outcome. Blow out lasted about a week and a half, and my curls did bounce back for the most part. My hair does not take heat well AT ALL... So I usually have some level of damage. But I was happy to see my 98% of my curls bounce back.

I get two strand twists, they are always shiny and curly. Aziza gives an amazing wash. I love the products. I have been getting my hair done by Gilda and Amir almost 30 years, and I will give the open disclaimer that we are long time friends. That being said, I have seen their level of professionalism, skill expansion, business building and growth keep up with the times. Now that I live in Atlanta, with all the choices I have at my disposal, I am still a client. So great to see their daughters working in the business and also learning the craft from their parents.

I recently moved to Atlanta by way of the San Francisco Bay Area and I was looking for a top tier stylist. Needless to say, Amir superseded my expectations. He is a master stylist and has the techniques to nurture my tresses. Amir is professional, punctual and very nice. Additionally, theshop is clean and in a nice area. If youre looking for someone who you can trust with youy hair Amir is the person that you are looking for. 5 Stars.

Elecia is my stylist and shes excellent! All of the staff here are very friendly and I love the fact that they do not overbook, so you are in and out within a reasonable timeframe. Elecia is an excellent colorist and really takes care of the health of your hair and keeps that her main focus, while still keeping it fabulous! I moved here earlier this year, tried out a bunch of salons and shes the only one I trust with my hair. ❤👍

Im surprised to receive this request to review T.A.G. Salon since Ive not visited them in over a year. Guess I should rate my last appointment there. My appointment was the first of the day with the stylist. She called me at home before I left and indicated that she would be 1/2 hour late. That was fine -- I just left home later. When I arrived she was not there. I waited for at least 30 minutes before Amir came over, asked what service i was waiting for and started to apply my color. When my stylist did arrive she never apologized or offered any explanation. I was done!! T.A.G. Salon is great if you have a stylist who respects your time and you want your natural hair straightened without chemicals. Not so much if you want your natural curl pattern defined. If I didnt get my hair flat iron straightened or a rod set or a flat twist, conditioner was applied to my hair and I was sent on my way. Im happy I found a natural hair stylist who takes the time to define my curl pattern an sends me on my way with a fabulous naturally curly doo!! Natural Xpression Salon is my choice and recommendation!!
