Ms. Ruth is such a sweet amazing person. She made me a relaxer base on my hair texture. This was the first time my edges/forehead didnt burn. I recommend if you need/want a relaxer and have sensitive skin, go to Ms.Ruth. This was my first visit. I notice more senior there. *Note Im giving my review base off of Ms. Ruth and only been 1 time so far.

This is the only place I go to to get my hair needs taken care of. My hair professional Tee is the best!💝 She takes the time to get to know you, your likes and dislikes and does whats best for your hair. She provides information, products and solutions to make sure you have healthy hair.Her prices are reasonable and shes fairly quick at getting you in and out of the salon. 🤗Ive been going here for years and dont plan on stopping any time soon.💇🏾‍♀️

Oh yeah the barber is Phil. Walk-ins are welcome. Dont sleep on the West End area, there are great stylist still here and with great prices!! Check them out!!

I decided to support a new business in Atlanta instead of going to my usual Dominican salon. I called ahead to check on the wait time and T told me that there was no wait. When I arrived 10 minutes later at 2:15, I was told that she stepped out for lunch. After receiving a shampoo, she put two doodoo braids in my hair (no rollers, no corn rows like she gave the other lady that came in) and set me under the dryer. When I finished under the dryer, she decided to eat her lunch. I was patient, but after 40 minutes and her talking to other people, I had to ask another hair dresser to blow dry my hair. T had the audacity to be annoyed. She told me that I should have told her I was in a hurry, and I responded by saying I called you ahead of time and asked what the wait time was for your que. Then she said that she had another customer with an appointment and she also had to eat lunch. I told her that she should have disclosed this information on the phone when I specifically asked about the wait time. She continued this banter by asking how long I expected to be in a salon. I informed her that more than 2 hours was unreasonable, and I usually spent an hour and a half for a wash and trim at my usual salon. Then she said This is not _____ salon. I am patient, and I try to respect others, but Ts lack of customer service skills and her complete disregard for my time was simply TERRIBLE. I also still have split ends in my hair even though I received a trim. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this establishment for HER services. I emphasize her because the other stylists seemed to be doing a great job, and they were efficient hence the second star. Run, dont walk.
