This practice epitomizes the reason that people dont trust chiropractors.My husband went in for a minor exercise-related back issue that popped up. But this guy told him his issue was so severe that he would have to undergo intensive therapy to correct. The guy even told my husband that issues like these come up due to traumatic injuries like a car accident, etc.Whats funny is my husband has NEVER had any traumatic experience like this!Then the guy tells us that in order to undergo treatment for this intensive therapy that will take months of treatment, that I, as his wife, am REQUIRED to go to these educational classes first before treatment could even begin. This is weird enough in the first place. But I was unable to make one of the classes due to work so my husband went without me so we could get treatment started asap. My husband went out of his way to get there and then this guy sent my husband home because I couldnt join!! Are you kidding me?!So we got a second opinion from someone with a PhD in chriopractic medicine and told him what this practice said and did. The PhD was so embarrassed by this guys practice, philosophy, and diagnoses and he said he gives this industry a bad name. The PhD also said my husband doesnt have any serious issues like the other guy did. Sure there were some posture corrections, but nothing requiring spinal correction like this guy!!So no intensive treatment was necessary. No serious issues. My husbands back got better over a few weeks naturally and is 100% normal.Avoid this place. This guy will use and abuse you and just wants your money and will give you a bogus diagnosis to do so.

I am so disappointed to write this review and hope it truly helps someone else save 5 hours of their time.I went in for an exam and chiropractic care after having awesome results in the past. I am experiencing some back pain again and was excited to have a chiropractor so close to home with great reviews!!This place is a complete scam. They won’t tell you a thing about price until you’re about 5 hours in. You have to have two sets of X-rays, multiple adjustments, and drive for a full night of a sales pitch, only to be told the program costs $7,000! Sure, program costs vary by patient, but here’s a ballpark figure so you can be prepared.Dr. Shapiro told me someone that works at McDonald’s could afford his program. The annual full time salary of a McDonald’s employee is $25,000. That would be 31% of their annual take home income. Pretty sure that would be impossible.I asked their finance girl if people actually sign up for this without understanding the full cost of the program. She had no detail, No understanding of what my insurance covers per visit, and did not provide a breakdown of cost per visit. She told me she was just trying to “help me” get care, but only by prying about my personal savings account. She also said, and I quote “most people that come in here are in so much pain they just sign up”. So they are taking advantage of peoples pain and vulnerabilities, and openly admit it! Awesome also, they say they care very much about your health, but charge a 15% markup for a payment plan. I’m not kidding.I have already spoken to a friend who had gone through the same pitch and was horrified and angry. I so wish I had known and could have saved myself so much time.And finally, I sent them a note 2 days later asking for a full program cost breakdown, and they never replied.

I highly recommend CSS in Brookhaven. Ive being coming to the office for a month and I already see significant reduction in my back pain. This chiropractor practice is very different from other chiropractors that I used before. CSS team works to restore your spine to correct alignment, so your whole body works properly. There a complex of exercises, traction and adjustments designed specifically for each patient. Everyone in CSS is very nice and supportive, not to mention, great experts in their profession.

Ill admit I was a skeptic when I first walked through the doors at CSS but I was in so much pain I was desperate and figured that stellar reviews could not be wrong. Im really glad I came in. From the start the Teams (Tucker and Brookhaven) were upbeat, positive and educational. They let me know what they were going to do - before they did it - and explained the WHY behind it which is a crucial point for someone like myself.I came in with severe mid back pain and after a through exam they realized that there were other issues actually contributing to the pain, not just a vertebrae on the fritz. While Im still working through the therapy weekly with the Team, Im essentially pain-free in my mid back and its been a game-changer.If you are looking for a quick adjustment in and out, this is not the place for you, but if you want to correct your stance, posture and increase your overall quality of life and are willing to put in the time, then you need to walk in and meet this group - they will change your life for the better!

They might well be terrific chiropractors and I was hoping to find out, given my back pain and seeing the glowing reviews. But the moment I walked in I was stunned to see five or six staff members NOT wearing masks.I mean, its a pandemic people ... 3-4000 deaths a day. I was nervous about going to a close-contact business to begin with but the pain sent me there.... and when I expressed my shock at zero masks the very nice lady said oh we get tested regularly and ask our patients to as well.This means NOTHING with a rampaging variant raging through the country. She also said patients find the masks difficult during treatments and when I asked ok, but what about all of YOU? she had no good answer.I didnt hang around for further discussion to see if their position is political or ideological or whatever - I got out of there fast. Seriously, five or six people in an enclosed area with no masks and nary a care in the world about it.Chiro wise? Ive no idea. If youre cool with the mask policy, fine. But - for me, anyway -it was seriously a SMH moment.Ps: seeing no way to reply to the google reply to this, I’ll just say it in no way replied to the facts I outlined. Attend at your own risk.

Im an 83-year-old man who was born with a strange straight spine where it connects to my head. It shouldve been corrected at birth or within my early years. But in New York, in those days, Chiropractic was not allowed to be practiced. Even if it could have been, I doubt anyone was educated enough to realize I had a defect. Neither did I. But in my old age, the problem has intensified, causing pain and even difficulty walking and with balance. I figured this is the way it would be for me forever.Another problem I have is Spinal Stenosis. MRIs reveal pressure on my Spinal Cord. But every Medical Pro tells me that an operation to remove calcium deposits is the only solution to try to stop the almost constant pain. Yet, EVERY medical professional and every patient who has had the operation ADVISES AGAINST IT! I agree. I prefer to avoid anything invasive. My wife and kids and grandkids discovered Complete Spine Solutions and convinced me to try them. Dr. David Shapiro and his entire staff are sensational. I was skeptical at first but after speaking with several current patients whod all experienced excellent results I decided to move forward. Im at roughly 8 weeks in and have definitely seen improvements in everything from my ability to recover between training sessions to my sleep and just a lessened feeling of stiffness in general that Id previously thought was going to be a part of life for the indefinite future. Absolutely incredible! I love these people and they mean so much to me! But let me get straight to the point here: These people know EXACTLY what theyre doing!!! Not only will they help the problem area feel and get much better, but they will do so for the entire body and will do it with absolute kindness and professionalism. This is no exaggeration - They have several containers filled with patients old medicine bottles, including ones that these patients would take daily for YEARS to treat their pain or condition. My experience with CSS has been great! My journey started in July of this year and I have gone through exciting changes. They helped diagnose me with spinal issues I did not even know I had, but then they also started me on a spinal correction therapy that has completely fixed the issues. Ive been able to continue with intense strength training, which has also improved with better posture. I absolutely recommend if you are interested in being the healthiest you can be.

CSS has changed my life! I used to have major issues with my lower back and hips - my disc would slip out or bulge. It seemed every year or so I would end up in the orthopedic office unable to walk, move, sleep, etc. I was in so much pain and could hardly walk. Im an active adult so this was torture for me.The last time I went into my ortho, I asked what we could do to fix this issue so I stopped have a recurring problem. He handed me 3 prescriptions and recommended PT. I was not happy with this response so I started doing research and decided to try some alternative options.
