I must say after reading the reviews I was skeptical of trying her but I did anyway. I will say she is extremely thorough and asked questions about my lifestyle and health that no other Doctor has ever thought to ask or even cared to ask. She took a lot of blood and tested me for everything under the sun and completed a gut test which Ive never had based on questions and conversation about my health. We spoke about alternative and herbal remedies for certain issues I have had and they have been great. I will say that you will not get anyone on the phone until about 10am and you will need to have patience for your visits whether virtual or in person because she takes her time with all of her patients and do not rush them, which may cause the wait time to be longer then expected. As we are all human I didnt expect her or her office team to be perfect but they were professional and acknowledged my needs and questions. I gave them a 4 because there is room for improvement. For now I am satisfied with my choice.

I am very disappointed in the practice and Dr, Catherine Emeruwa . This is a very unprofessional and stressful working environment. Please take time and read reviews and comments before you apply with jobs. Most disappointing experience EVER! I would not recommend any friend or relative here for a primary care physician. For the holistic services other than (Low Oil Medical marijuana ) side I would recommend you look around as well before negotiating business. I tried going elsewhere closer to home , but it was nothing like Dr. Cathy , where you feel that you are more than just a patient . you are a priority at Dr. Cathys office .Right before my stroke , she asked Have anyone in your family ever had a stroke ? and i said . I do not know , and low and behold i had one . Dr . Cathy takes the time out to explain everything and care about me as a person .

My daughter has been going to Dr Cathy for a few years now. Shes got a wonderful bedside manner and is very knowledgeable about my daughters conditions. It took us a long time to find a doctor that didnt think she was making all this up, and to actually delve deep into her ailments. She is very much appreciated in this house. My only complaint is that it is very difficult to get a hold of the office staff and to have them return calls. I dont think the online portal they have, it is not user friendly. But these things dont have anything to do with her, she is great!

I have been seeing Dr Cathy for years. She has always been kind and professional. Her staff is all very nice as well. They always take a few minutes to strike up a friendly conversation. The office setting is very homey instead of feeling like you are in a smaller version of a hospital which can cause anxiety in many people. I definitely enjoy coming here.

I was assigned to this doctor’s office via my insurance company as a new patient. I called the office to get a referral for my twisted ankle that requires me to see a podiatrist due to inserts in my ankles. I was told yesterday I could get a referral. This morning I was told I couldn’t get a referral after being told I could. The person I talked to was very rude. We have to be care who we allow to answer our business phone and speak on our behalf. I am searching out another primary care doctor.

DR. Cathy is an awesome professional physician who combines holistic medical practice and alternative approach beautifully well in the treatment of her patients. She is very compassionate and her staff incredibly friendly and professional.Dr. Cathy has been my family physician for over 4 years now and I plan to remain with her,as a patient, for the rest of my life.She has always treated me with tender loving care. She has a listening ear and very thorough in evaluating a patient. I had all kinds of health problems when I met her 4 years ago. Prostate, high blood pressure, diabetic and kidney problems etc. My first experience with her was beyond my belief. Interestingly, I am presently in perfect health enjoying great reserves of energy and strength. DR. Cathy is caring and concerned, friendly while maintaining professional and efficient standard of service. I highly recommend a visit to Dr.Cathy.

She does not pay her employees and then she files fraudulent W2s to the IRS for wages she never paid to these employees!!....a Doctor that has no problem lying to the IRS and admitting it to the department of labor when they open an investigation, not someone I would trust with my health!!Aside from that as a patient you will wait hours on end to receive bare minimum care along with being pursued into having bloodwork and various other tests done which you will later find out is not covered under your insurance and you receive large bills which she will only discuss with you at an appointment that you will wait 4 hours for.....

Dr. Cathy has helped me understand things I had never considered when it comes to my medical issues. She has a unique approach and treats you as a whole person, not just a singular problem. She was also willing to see my son who has been struggling in school when no one else would because of his age. Instead of wanting to just throw him on some medication and be done with it, she discussed in detail how his diet can also be a contributing factor. She made me feel that all the issues were something I could get a handle on despite feeling like I was at the end of my rope prior to my son being seen. I did have to wait a little but that is to be expected since she is the only physician. Yet when she came in I quickly understood and appreciated my wait. She took the time to explain everything in great detail and answer all of my questions.The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly!I told my mom and best friend about my experience with Dr. Cathy because they know the issues I have had over the years with my health. Now they each have asked for Dr. Cathys information so they can schedule appointments with her.

Dr. (Cathy) Emeruwa has been providing my medical care for over six years and has completely changed my life for the better in so many ways. Although a 74 year old male, I feel better than I did 30 years ago, lift weights to failure with guys up to one-fourth my age, mountain bike, and hiked the Panorama Trail at Yosemite. Still working as a structural engineer because I continue to enjoy it, I feel as mentally sharp as I did in my twenties. Dr. Cathy has enabled me to do all of this with God’s help and, even more important, to love doing so. A number of my friends, male and female, also have been greatly helped by her. I love her! Ive been seeing her now for close to four years. I always set my appointments for early mornings and do sometimes have a little wait due to her drive into the Atlanta Piedmont office. But I cant say that I havent been late on occasion as well, and most Doctors Ive ever had requires some wait time. I just use it as an opportunity to have some down time. At my age Ive learned my most important moments are right now and how I allow myself to feel in my thoughts right now where ever I am. Her staff is always friendly... I mean like real friends, not just friendly. I like that she takes time to talk if I need to, and listen. I appreciate that she explores options that are not pharmaceutical. I can literally tell her anything and allow her that same option. Looking forward to her expansion to a new office!

I love the staff. And Dr. Cathy did test Ive not had done and needed. Im so thankful. I was not able to help my child function with Autism but now we are doing well. Kind of disappointed. We were told that our testing would be billed a certain way for insurance purposes and it was billed another way. A $1500 bill showed up in the mail. Also another smaller bill came as well. The office isnt as organized. My appointment wasnt even put on the calendar like I was told it would be. Just disappointed all together. We had a separate office visit just for a nurse to sit and read simple findings in our lab results that we had a print out of. A waste of time and money.

Ive been seeing Dr. Cathy since I was 14 and I am now 29. I came to her as a rape victim and I am now suffering from Lupus. Her services as a doctor are wonderful. I have seen many staff come and go but she has always been caring, very professional, and overall amazing for a woman with such profession. Dr. Cathy will leave you feeling spoiled by her care and attention towards you as her patient. I just left her office this morning and was very pleased with her and the main staff that Ive seen and been dealing with forever. They are my extended family. Amazing practice and customer service with Dr Cathy and her medical team! She is a Doctor in Buckhead for a reason. Words cannot explain the care that DR. Kathy provides. Dr Kathy takes the time to know her patients needs. Her expertise and counseling is far above the rest. My experience was unbelievable, Dr. Cathy, and her staff were extremely professional and very family oriented. I moved here from New York city, and I find that most doctors office here are kinda layed back and time consuming, especially the so called minute clinic, and urgent cares.Dr. Kathys friendly staff were very professional and displayed a New York style of attitude with regards to a patients time. Their friendly attitude and overwhelming patient support and knowledge makes them number one in my book.

WORST doctor Ive ever worked for a complete narcissist. Dr. Cathy shows up late every day keep patients waiting for 2 hours every morning. She cares more about her hair and make up appointment than her patients. She does not PAY HER STAFF. I am owed a paycheck for time worked and she has not paid. I call I text no answer. I show up to the office Dr. Cathy threathens to call the police. Then when I finally ask her face to face about my money she tells me to deal to the manager who I am sure is also not geting paid. Dr. Cathy PAY your staff STOP telling me to deal with other people. You sign the check PAY me the money I am owed my check never arrived certified mail as you told me.

Dr. Cathy is the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever met . She only cares about her hair and makeup. She has a lot of malpractice going on in the office. She is very unsanitary! She did a procedure without washing her hands! DISGUSTING! She has yet to pay me for the days I have worked. Other employees have also stated that she paid them thru cash app! Very illegal! I cant speak to her medical acumen or skill as a physician however, I can only speak to how I was treated as a patient by her personally and her office. I had three scheduled appointments with Dr. Cathy and actually only saw her for one.Visit 1, May 2018: The first time I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Cathy. I left her office without actually having my exam after waiting 3 hours. During this visit I was, after 1.5 hours, given a full blood work up. I later found that several of the lab tests she ordered were not covered by my insurance and I was sent two bills one for $500 and one for about $150 from the labs. I was not informed before the tests were ordered that I would need to pay out of pocket for these tests. Approx Cost: $650 (lab fees) + $25 (co-pay) = $675 (please remember I did not see Dr. Cathy this day.Visit 2, May 2018: Thankfully I did see Dr. Cathy this time. Briefly. She conducted my exam and flew out of the room before I was able to ask her any questions about my blood work results. She insured me that we could speak more at a follow-up appointment her secretary would schedule for me. Cost: $25 (co-pay)Visit 3, June 2018: I came in to see Dr. Cathy for my follow up visit. Like the first visit, I waited in Dr. Cathys office for about 2 hours. When I approached her secretary to see how much longer she would be, the secretary went to the window to look for Dr. Cathys car in the parking lot. You guessed it. Dr. Cathy was not even at the office. :(. I had to leave for work and could not wait the indefinite amount of time to see Dr. Cathy that was required. Her secretary suggested that I come by again after work since I work clo.se by her office....After work: I leave work early to return to Dr. Cathys office for my appointment. When I am about 2 minutes away from her office I receive a phone call from Dr. Cathys secretary informing me that Dr. Cathy is ready to leave her office and cannot see me today. Her secretary informed that she would call me to reschedule either an in-person or phone appointment to finish discussing my labs and previous appointment. Cost: $25 (co-pay) (please again remember I did not see Dr. Cathy.)As of September 11, 2018 at 4:30 p.m., I have heard no word from Dr. Cathy, her secretary, or any other employees at her office.Total Cost: $725Think hard and long and long and hard about making her your physician. I worked with Dr. Cathy for a little over a month. Shes treats her staff terrible. She comes to work yelling, yells all day at her employees, belittles the employees. The turnover rate is ridiculous. She fired her entire staff the eeek of Christmas, so I had to run the front and back office by myself. After my 30 days was up she decided to have her accountant call me and said I was no longer needed. She does this to prevent employees from getting unemployment. The poor patients would be waiting for hours because she would come to work hours late. Most patients would leave others would wait because they really needed to be seen that day. I wouldnt recommend this office for patients or employees. She will hold your paychecks until she felt like giving them to you. She wrote me a bad check once. I asked the bank what do you mean theres no money in the account. She looked at me as to say she always does this to her employees. I called Dr. Cathy and told her I needed my money NOW and she had all kinds of excuses. Worst practice Ive ever worked at.

I really appreciate Dr. Catherine Emeruwa and staff for their professionalism and warmth. I was quite impressed to know that Dr. Catherine take the holistic and medicine approach. This was my first visit and I look forward to my next vist.

I had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE of my LIFE trying to set an appointment with this doctors office. The staff member named Sonya was belligerent, disrespectful, unprofessional, childish, and down right rude. I cannot believe that a doctors office would employ such classless individual to represent them when dealing with potential and current patients . It was ASTONISHING how RUDE she was. I was calling to set an appointment with this doctors office, but after my experience I will never attempt to do so again. I warn and advised any one considering this doctors to avoid it at all cost. It is not worth the money to even try to go to here.

Each time I go in here I end up waiting to get called back for an hour, see the nurse then wait another hour some times more for dr Cathy then it takes about 45 min to an hour for her to take you back and talk to you just to get anything done. Extremely unorganized and staff unwilling to help or explain what is going on. Unprofessional and bad customer service.

My first visit to her with a scheduled appointment was awful. I had to wait over 3 hours just for her to arrive to the office in buckhead because she was at the other location. I had to call out of work because the wait was so long. Then the second visit I scheduled was earlier in the morning to hopefully not have to wait again for 3 hours. After a hour and half of waiting I just left because there was still no sign of her arrival. The staff did nothing to try and fix or make the situation any better or easier. I never received any call backs from staff or doctor. No form of an apology either. The first visit of seeing her she wanted to run all sorts of tests and I agreed to them only if covered by my insurance. Which were not so now I’m having to pay over $1000 in bills out of pocket. She is now sending me a bill from her office as well for the visits. I have tried to contact via email, voicemail for over 6 to 8 months now. They say they will call back instead just send me another bill. When the nurse was taking my blood work I went into a office looking room with stacks and stacks of papers covering 2 or 3 desks packed into a small room. Other ladies were in there all chatting with each other and not paying attention to me with a needle in my arm. She actually was so distracted from her conversations that she started to walk away while the needle was in my arm. I had to raise my voice in order for her to hear me over their conversation to stop pulling away while taking my blood. I have never experienced such an awful docotors office! I am still trying to figure the bill and throughout all of this I have not once heard from the doctor herself! Please try another doctor before wasting your time and money with dr. Cathy (sex doctor) even though she says she runs a family practice.

On August 3, 2017, I had a follow-up visit with Dr. (Cathy) Emeruwa to review my labs. The appointment was set for 10:20 am. Upon my arrival, which was shortly after 10:00am, I became aware that she was not there. While waiting, two additional patients showed up and signed in. Her employees had horrible attitudes and were extremely unprofessional. After sitting for over 30 minutes, her poorly trained receptionist stood up and said Dr. Cathy is not here, can y’all reschedule? I inquired about her arrival time, she said around 12:30 pm. I told the receptionist that I could not wait that long and she replied hold on. She then announced that Dr. Cathy would be there around 11:30. After that announcement, they checked in the elderly lady that came after me and then checked me in. As I sat in the room, one of her assistant’s came in, took my vitals, and ask if I was really going to wait on the doctor? I told her that I cannot just go back to work for an hour and come back. Dr. Cathy finally showed up and went to see the elderly lady first. I sat in the room, heard her prompt a healthy sex life to an elderly woman and heard her play a video from her phone. After waiting for 2 hours, I could not wait any longer.Frustrated, I demanded my lab results and left at noon without seeing the doctor. She has not offered an apology for her unpolished behavior and still charged my insurance company. In my book that is stealing! SHE IS THE WORST DOCTOR IN ATLANTA! If you still consider using her, pay attention to her assistant’s attitude, out dated forms, and unprofessional appearance of the facility.After doing some additional research I learned that I only should have been charged $19.00. She charged me $230.59. They told me $100 was for the lab work and $130.59 was for the visit. She is not only unprofessional but a thief.

This was the worst experiece that I have ever had with a doctors office. I received a bill for $1004 for lab work from Quest Diagnostics.. My insurance didnt pay because the labs were coded wrong by the doctor.I called them to get the coding fixed on 3 seperate occasions. They assured me that it would be taken care of each time but it never was. I have spent almost a year trying to get them to fix thier coding error. Now they want me to pay for a $200 doctors visit that I dont need just to get them to correct their mistake.This is extortion in its trust form. Quest Diagnostic has worked with me throughout this process. They have even called the doctors office multiple times on my behalf but were unable to get through. I will be getting my lawyer involved and notifing the BBB about this unethical behavior.

I really prefer going down to this office because I can take all backroad short cuts, at first. But her staff, from reception helping with a little insurance mix up, to me trying the nursing staff patience getting me to be still for a test, honestly, good people. Really personable and kind, and I get adled under stress because of my syndrome. It was an adled day. I know we complain about Doctors office visits lengths and waits, I dont mind because I know when I need extra time, the staff and Dr Cathy will spend it with me, going over tests, explaining.... like they did last visit. All of the terrible reviews are true. I cant believe that she can claim shes a doctor. My appointment started at 2 p.m. and I left their office at 5:45. When I arrived at my appointment I was given a set of papers to fill out. Once done i was given another 15 that contained numerous questionnaires. After being in the waiting room for over an hour I was moved to another room. A girl came in and started asking questions and and then was pulled out of the room by another employee. 30 minutes later another girl came in and started asking me the same exact questions but this time had pencil and paper. So I sat there for another 15 minutes being questioned. She then left and then a nurse came and took 14 vials of blood. Ive never been to a new doctor and had blood taken first. They didnt know when the doctor was going to ARRIVE. So when the doctor gets there I can hear everything that she says to the nurses outside my room and the pap smear she did next door. Dr Cathy comes in and introduces herself as a sex doctor. She then ask me about my depression which I had never mentioned to anybody. A girl comes in and reminds Dr Cathy they are closed So dr. Cathy wraps it up and starts walking out the door. And I say hold on, Im here for a checkup I have some issues with my back and headaches and she said that Ill be back in 2 weeks and we can go over more then. I left feeling abbused.When it came time for my second visit I called the day before to make sure that the doctor would be there for my appointment at 8 a.m. . My husband is going through chemotherapy and I needed to be with him at the hospital at 10 a.m. Which means I need to leave the doctors office in an hour and a half which is more than enough time to be seen for a follow-up visit. When I called she assured me that I would be seen by a doctor not dr. Cathy because she would not be there. And I told the receptionist that I had to be out by 10 and she assured me that she would try to make it happen. The next morning when I arrived at the doctors office at 7:55 it was closed. At 8:10 the lights turned on and the door opened. I had my younger son with me and the receptionist turned on the news full blast and on the news was the normal craziness which I dont like my child to listen to. So I asked the receptionist to change the channel and she put it on static. Rude. After being there for 45 minutes I asked the front desk if I was going to be seen soon. And 5 minutes later I was pulled into the back. The nurse came in asked me some questions and then had me fill out the same questionnaires I had filled out the last time I was there. I asked her when the doctor is going to be there and she said shell check. After 15 minutes I open the door and I asked her when the doctor will be there. She said shes going to check again. She came into the room and said that the doctor I was seeing called out and dr. Cathy has been called in. And I asked her when Dr Cathy was expected to be in and she said she doesnt know. I explained my situation and by this point Im so frustrated Im crying. I asked to get my lab results and she said I cant have them. So after opening the door and speaking loudly so all other patients could hear they give me my results and I walk into the waiting room to leave. When Im leaving I announce that the doctor isnt in the building and they dont know when shell arrive. There are few patients in the waiting room and they seem to be as frustrated as I was. After the doctor was a no-show and they still charged my insurance company for the visit. I cant believe this place is still in business. I cant believe Dr Cathy can call herself a doctor. Shes a scam artist. Never make an appointment here.

I called on.2/21/2017 to schedule appointment. The receptionist put on hold for 5mins. I assumed she forgot about me on the phone. I called her back and she responded by say hold please. I never was able make my.appointment and i just decided to find another doctor. Sad!! For the doctor.

One star is an extremely good rating. Zero stars would be a lot more fitting. Extremely unprofessional, and unethical.

She just wants your money. Doesn’t not care about your time, so please don’t waste it here.

Saw the drs assistant 2 years ago had test done. Never got a response of any kind. Received a letter concerning my medical records this week. No one ever answers the phone and as I sit in front of the office this morning no one is here and no notice on the window and no one is answering the phone

This is a horrible place. All the doctor cares about it how much money to get from her patients. I have heard her yelling at her staff while waiting in room. The waiting time is over four hours. Claims to have other two offices but they are non existent. Not worth it. I would not have put a start but I had to so I could post this. because this place is horrible, dirty, and nasty.This doctor treats patients and staff horribly.

I received lab and office visit bills for over 16k for less than 4 appointments.

This practice is disorganized, dis-functional , and the practice operates in a unprofessional manner. Dr. Cathy is NOT A GOOD PROVIDER AT ALL.Her staff is unfriendly . Dr. Cathy operates in an unethical manner.

She does not pay her employees. And uses them and then lets them go for no reason. I wondered why a previous employee had a police officer escort her to the office and now I see why. And is a liar and manipulator
