So glad this doctor is in Asheboro. He is thorough and intelligent. My 15 year old son recently had the flu and his fever peaked at 104. It was 9:30pm. I was worried about mixing his meds to control fever and cough, so I called his office after hours to reach the nurse/doctor on call. The answering service for Wake Forest asked who my doctor was and I said Dr. Grisso and they said he takes all his patients calls. I was placed on hold and within seconds he was on the phone with me. I was so surprised and grateful. He told me exactly what to do. That was amazing :) you cant imagine how that made me feel. Both my husband and I have had our wellness visits and the next day we have our lab results in our inbox with a personal message from him on what his thoughts are and a health plan with a follow-up if needed. These e-mails are sent to us at about 5:00am. He is a true doctor that wants to heal. Our city is lucky to have him!

This doctor is very rude, would not allow me to speak and each time I tried, he got louder and spoke over me. The front office said they could hear him. All this because he said we were late which will cause his entire day to be late when in fact, we were NOT late. I tried to tell him to look at the sign-in book to no avail. My husband and I watched him from where we were sitting in the waiting room through the front office door into the back where he was pacing, wondering why. If he had checked with the girls up front he would have known we were there. Also, there were 2 others that came in after we did that signed in before our appt time. He claims we must be there 15 min ahead of schedule, in which case, yes, we would have been late. Im sorry, but an appointment time is an appointment time. If he wanted me there earlier, then my appointment time should be scheduled for that time. My time is equally as important as his. He is paid for his time, I am not. While I always liked and respected this doctor, I lost all respect for him first, as a medical professional (of which I also am of 38+ yrs) and second, as a man that would speak to an elderly woman with the demeaning and incorrect attitude and tone. As I was in tears, he mentioned that and continued his rant a SECOND time, louder than the first, in its entirety, only this time, adding the fact that not only was I late and making his entire day late, but that I had not been in for 9 months when I know I need to be here at least every 6 months. No, I did not know. He continued with another rant of how I need to take responsibility for my own health. I thought thats why I was there and tried to explain that no one had ever told me that and actually was happy I didnt need to be there for that length of time. But he never heard a word I was saying because he was so loudly speaking over me. I have sent many, many patients to him and have since told many, many more of my experience. He then had the nerve to falsely write in my chart the events which he claimed took place leaning it all towards CYOA. Most, if not all, were completely and entirely lies. I have NEVER been spoken to in this manner, EVER! I never went back.

Excellent medical care. Took over 3 hours to finally get an actual person to just answer the phone to get an appt. Used to get someone as soon as I called. Love the medical team but hate trying to get someone to answer the phone.

Appointment was at 2:30 and at 3:10..they said that we have not forgot about us. Its now 3:17 and still having. Thats sad that it takes 40 minutes before someone will even tell you anything.. very unprofessional. Really needs more help.

I used to love this medical office, but since they went with wake forest, it is terrible, you will be waiting as long as 20 minutes or more just trying to get through to a person..so I will be changing my medical office.
