Great experience with staff and doctors except ive been trying to get in touch with them for THREE DAYS NOW because my daughter needs an appointment. everytime i call either no answer or they answer and hang up.

I cannot say enough good things about Katie Smith!! She remembers our whole family, speaks to me, like were just Mamas talking, calms my fears about these girls of mine! Honestly, the best! The *whole staff* is amazing but Katie is an all star! Im so thankful for her!

I’m 29 now-I have been to many Dr. offices, and urgent care centers since I was Chase’s patient. Y’all-it’s been 15 years....I feel like a parent somewhere needed a recommendation because they’re irritated with their child’s current provider-go here. Perhaps this helped someone. I’m fat-but still relatively healthy. (Ask Jesus why I left this review-I don’t know...I was moved to.)

I cant say enough good things about the staff, nurses, and physicians at Pediatrics Plus! They went above and beyond what is required to help my son and I with his medical check up and medical forms required for school. First class all the way around. They are friendly, professional, dedicated and helpful.

Called me and cancelled my babies appointment due to a severe storm. When I went to the following appointment that THEY scheduled they said I missed the appointment and my son could never come back due to no show.

We LOVE the care we receive at pediatrics plus. Dr Patrenos is brilliant and has helped us navigate the challenging waters of our youngest son having ADD & anxiety issues. The entire staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The nurses and assistants take time to make sure both me as a parent and our kids as the patient know what’s happening and feel comfortable. At times when urgent matters have come up, our son has also seen Chase Thomas and those experiences have been amazing as well!!If you’re looking for a new ped for your child- HIGHLY recommend considering Pediatrics Plus !!

We got a certified letter in the mail after, my grandson being a patient for only 2 1/2 months. Stated that they would no longer be providing medical care to our grandson, due to parent refusing to follow guidelines of practice. This was from a visit after my daughter had just got out of the Hospital and had restrictions on lifting, we was called back and the head nurse ask Crystal if she could not come back by herself and she stated no my Mom will have to carry him, she then stated (nurse) ok well I will let you this time but next time only one person can come back, Maverick was getting his shot, and she was wanting to be back there with him. Further more there was no refusal of following guidelines in no way!! She allowed us and told us next time we would not be able to do it.But prior to this visit back in June I had spoke with Head nurse about the CRNP that was treating out grandson that was 6 weeks old came in the room with his gloves on handled all the door knobs, typed on his laptop, then went back out of room came back in with same glove on then came over putting his hands all over his face, opening his mouth looking at his throat, them ears. I did not say anything at that time, so at the next visit like 2 weeks later he did the same thing and I mention it to him, and also spoke with the head nurse about, them not following covid19 and just in general health guidelines for their patients and small infants! Then we get this certified letter in the mail! Seem to me they have a problem follow guidelines and it being brought to their attention. This was very disrespectful and unprofessional to our little young baby and our family to be treat like this! When I tried to call the office to speak with the owner of the practice, was told he was business, the 2nd time was told he was gone for the day, and they transferred me to the HR lady only to leave a message and no return call yet!

I have been taking my son here for the past two years. He is now 17, all the other times it was on the sick side only. Today we on the Well side,and this medical assistant or receptionist at the front desk was very rude this afternoon. I had called the office and informed someone that we would be late. I did not know that calls are answered from both sides. Anyway when we arrived the front desk clerk had a ugly attitude,which in turn made me have one. Normally we go on the sick side and the ladies over there are extremely pleasant. Being in the medical field for over 20 years, I know that u have to have excellent customer service skills to keep your clients. All the other doctors and nurses are amazing. Even after our bad experience with the front desk clerk the others were great. Is it true that one bad Apple spoil the bunch? Health care workers are already under paid. To the ones that show compassion,thanks for all u do.

My children have been coming here for years, and there is no one that I trust more with my children! Amazing physicians and kind staff!

Absolutely LOVE pediatrics plus and everyone there!!! Chase sees both of my children! He’s so straight forward and to the point and that’s what I love most! The receptionist always makes it a point to make sure I can get an appointment with him every time I go. Everyone is so friendly and caring! Never had an awful experience! Highly recommend :)

This is the best office in the area I have visited since moving to AL. However, during flu season I wont even consider sitting in that nasty waiting room again. Ill take my kids to the urgent care where its not overbooked and sitting shoulder to shoulder with sick people.I asked the staff if they have a mask I could wear they laughed amd said no, but we should have them though (..duh..) Needless to say, I was sick the next day!The next time I called for an appointment I asked if they had mask yet, their reply was....no, but its not different than going to Wal-MartFirst of all...its absolutely different. Not every person in Wal-Mart is couped up with you with all different sicknesses/viruses. Sneezing,coughing all over the exact air you are forced to breath in. Horrible practice there. If you want to prevent the spread of infection across schools, towns, and....AL lets start with the one place every sick patient is coming to get taken care of.Supply masks!!!!! See you in the summer!

We absolutely love Pediatrics Plus! We have been seen by all there and wouldnt go anywhere else. Whether our children our sick or just for a check up we have always been pleased.

Chase has been seeing my kids for 11 years. I changed doctors because Holly refused to give my youngest son an allergy test. And when the results came in she told me everything was normal. I asked Chase at the next appointment and turns out my son was Allergic to wheat. Think its time to change back to dr Chase

Very disrespectful and unprofessional, when confronted about not changing gloves when they leave the room coming back in with door open seeing this with my own eyes then checking my 7 week old son handling in his face . Then when confronted about this issue of not following covid19 and just in general heath guidelines, I was then mailed a certified letter that they would no longer be providing medical care for my son . Stating due to parent refusing to not go by guidelines of medical practices . All this amounts to is that I confronted them about not going by guidelines and then I get this letter.

I like Holly May and adore Dr Paternos. The nurses are generally good to great.. some more friendly and child oriented than others but overall a great experience.

Dr. Chase Thomas is the best doctor in Calhoun County!!!!! I absolutely love him and his staff they are so friendly every time I have ever come down there. And Holly Mays is an awesome probationer as well!!!!

Sometimes it takes a while but it is worth it to see Drs who are willing to take their time with each child and who will listen to your concerns and address them instead of just ignoring what parents have to say I absolutely love chase and Dr patrenos Ive only seen the other 2 once each but Ive never had a bad experience here and we tried several pediatricians before pediatrics plus so glad I found them!

Exactly how can you run a successful and professional practice when no one will answer the phones to make an appt for their sick child? My daughter and my son in law have been calling today since open time till now trying to make an appt. How can you treat your patients like this? I work in the medical field and this is no way to operate any kind of business. Youve just proven to myself and my daughter that you are not operating this Drs office for the proper medical reasons. You do remember the oath you took, right?

Always quick to attend and fair in there service, love all the doctors and nurses on staff. Highly recommend this doctors office to everyone!

The doctors are thorough with my baby and they are fast at getting you in and out. They have a great team; very polite and sweet.

When my family moved to Anniston I was worried we wouldnt find a pediatrician that we liked, since it took so long to find one we liked before we moved. But this place has been amazing. The nurses are nice, and my daughters pedi is really informative and always makes sure we understand whats going on and our daughter likes him, which is a plus. HighlyRecommend this place 🙂

This is by far the best pediatrician I have found for my daughter. They are very nice and the doctors and nurses are on top of their game.

I love Dr. Chase! He took his time explaining everything a new parent needs to know about a baby. As new parents, it was very important for us to feel like our son was being taken care of and he did that times ten. The staff can be a little rude at times. They do not seem very happy to be there and that can be very off putting. Other than that we have a great experience with the doctor. I also really like Nurse Practitioner Holly Mays. She is amazing as well!

If your appointment is at 9, you MIGHT be seen by 2, that would probably be on a good day

The only thing I like about Pediatrics Plus is Holly and the nurses. She is super nice and loved my kids! I would never recommend Chase to anyone who is breast feeding. I know the staff is busy and they arent openly rude, but they dont seem very nice either. They definitely dont go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I also find it interesting that you can no longer review them on their Facebook page after I read increasing numbers of negative reviews. Best part of moving was leaving Pediatrics Plus!

Doctor chase is great. But the forgine doctor there isnt great at all! Staff is pretty good!

Have always had great experiences with them. We have been using chase since 2013 and hes great with my boys. Even when they are sick he makes them smile. Id recommend pediatrics plus to everyone looking for a great pediatrician. Chase is a CRNP which doesnt matter to me at all. Its how he treats the children that is important. However, my oldest does have to see dr. Wali for his ADHD medicine and so far he has been very nice and informative on the medication. Most of my family and friends also use them and have always spoken very highly of them as well.

For the past 3 1/2 years my husband and I have been taking our babies to Pediatrics Plus. We absolutely love them. We were actually seeing another Pediatrician and just were not satisfied with the care our son was receiving....so we started asking around to other families for recommendations of a Pediatric practice. Everyone we spoke with suggested Chase Thomas and Pediatrics Plus. I know the previous review states that Chase is not a doctor, and only a NP. Chase is a CRNP, and one of the most caring providers we have ever seen. My son is not a social butterfly, but has no problem coming to see Mr. Chase. With that being said, both our son and daughter have been seen by all of the providers at Pediatrics Plus, and we have been super pleased. Each of them are so loving to our children, no matter how sick and grumpy they might be. Each provider takes time to talk with our babies and make them feel comfortable, so coming to the doctor isnt scary. Our entire family chooses Pediatrics Plus for their childrens care. My cousin has Aspergers (form of Autism) and loves coming to see Dr. Patrenos and her assistant, Ms. Angel. They are so comforting and loving to him. Our nephew also uses Pediatrics Plus, and loves it as well. We absolutely love everyone at Peds Plus from the receptionist all the way to the Providers. We could not imagine trusting anyone else to care for our children.

I took my daughter to Chase who is not a Dr but an NP.... anyways we saw Dr. Wally 2 times in 1 week. She had nauseated vomiting and diarrhea for 1 week. He told me to make her eat and drink. I tried but she could not keep anything down. When we seen him the 2nd time her White Blood Cell count was 2 which is critally low. She said she was dehydrted and did not even address the WBC being so low. We ended up at RMC on Anniston for 3 days and then Childrens for 2 days. She ended up having rotavirus very rare in an 8 yr old. Anyways never got a call to find out what happened or anything. I changed to Dr. BRANCH best doctor ever. Just made me mad that they did not even care. Will never go back there......

Would not recommend. Watched Chase go into a room after telling a parent their kid had measles & he never washed his hands/sanitizer at all. also went on & on about formula being better than breastfeeding bc of a bad experience he had & couldnt bond with his kid.... bc of breastfeeding... really? Pushed formula every visit & got rude when we told him that was enough & we are changing.

@lauren this is interesting since I have personally not seen measles in more over 14 years. Also both my children were strictly fed with Breast milk so Im sure others on here will continue to discredit you. And I use hand sanitizer at the very least in between each and every child. But the most confusing thing you said is that you said I told you to use formula but also was seeing a child with Measles. Since my building is split into a well building and a sick building, I would have never been seeing a infant for growth and dev on the same side as a child with a rash. Have a good day and good luck

Dr. Chase and Dr. Patrenos is absolutely amazing! They are easy to talk to, great with kids of all ages. However holly mays and dr. Wali are terrible. I made an appointment for my 3 month old and she told me a bunch of stuff, so i made a follow up with dr. Chase and he told me the exact opposite of what holly said. Dr. Wali is rude. He also refused to give my daughter any kind of meds for her upper respiratory infection.The nurses are great as long as you dont inconvenience them.And i also think that my children should be able to see their perferred doctor instead different people everytime they come in.I have it on my childrens paperwork that they are only to see Patrenos or Chase and i have showed up at appoinments and had to cancel and reschedule because it was Dr. Holly or Wali.

The nurse practitioners are amazing. The staff isnt the greatest.
