Refusal of parent supervision during appointments. Inflexibility with policy when requested to supervise which made us very uncomfortable. Additionally - they were about 3x the cost of other reputable local orthodontist once we got a 2nd opinion. Very disappointed with our experience.RE: the reply from the owner below.Actually it was the orthodontist himself who said its not so much about Covid, more that our techs find that the kids do better without the parents around. Exact words, covid is a nice excuse though. I am not sure if there are any CDC rules against a fully vaccinated (plus booster), masked parent from accompanying a minor child.

I love Labbe Ortho ! My son started treatment about 2 years ago. They have multiple convenient offices in the area, staff is very courteous and professional. Everyone is pleasant and they have done a fantastic job post pandemic reopening to keep everyone safe. They are up to date on technology and offices are sanitary. They have a great rewards program for kids in treatment with ways to earn points and get gift cards and sometimes money in return. Had I not gone to Labbe, I would not have know that my son needed a palate expander to fix the shape of his mouth. The obstruction to his airway was affecting his sleep which in turn affected his school work and ability to learn. Oh it was also stunning his growth. Within months of having the expander my son was catching up on sleep, he could think clearer, his grades improved, the headaches were gone, and he grew a few inches. He was truly suffering from sleep apnea because of his mouth. I cannot stress more how important it is to keep up with your kids dental and have them evaluated. I am eternally grateful to Labbe Orthodontics.

We really like this office. The people are nice and the staff seem very well educated. The system they have put in place, since reopening for COVID-19, makes my family and I feel safe while still receiving the care my son needs. Labbe Family Orthodontics is such a friendly, courteous, professional practice. We did our research and interviewed a few different orthodontist, including one we had used for our older child. We decided to go with Dr Labbe because of the many recommendations we received from other families as well as financial reasons. Everyone in the office is always smiling and you can tell they genuinely love their jobs. My son was treated there and he loved that they offered rewards for taking care of his braces and teeth. We never waited over 5-10 min. They were very patient-focused and asked his opinions on his treatment plan, even when it came to the type of retainer. He has the most beautiful smile now. They are a wonderful family - we are so happy that we went with Labbe Family Orthodontics.

I was given lots of 1 on 1 attention by all the staff. Very friendly and helpful. Its a great atmosphere, very flexible with scheduling, and successful with my results/goals.

While I was a fan of how great the place was taken care of. I did not like the get the patients in and out asap feel. My retainer did not even fit correctly. She tried and tried and then had another girl try. Finally it stayed in for two seconds and then popped back out. They said that was good enough to wear it. So It never fit and I never ended up wearing it. As far as I am concerned Labbe owes me my time and energy. I went through so a very long process with you and as soon as I was no longer $$ to you it was toss her aside so the new money bad can get in the chair. I may be a little upset but every appointment I had to take off of work and travel. It take A LOT out of my day to be able to come to my appointments and I would never recommend anyone go here. You are just a $$ to them. And guess what!!! My teeth are going back to where they were originally. Thanks for nothing. Years of my life and a hell of a lot of money for nothing. To make your pockets richer. I assume Im supposed to come back and start this dog and pony show over again. No way. Like I said I will not be taking my kids to this place and I will not suggest anyone to bring their children here.

Originally came to the Greenbelt office in 2002 for braces (which the service was GREAT back then), got them removed and eventually lost my retainer. Came back March 2018 to the Greenbelt office, to buy new ones, knowing that my insurance would cover HALF of the cost. When it came time to pay however, the office does NOT take insurance and will tell you that you need to PAY IN FULL, tell you that YOU need to fill out and submit documents to your insurance so that the insurance can reimburse you. The process takes 2-3 weeks. I filled out the documents and mailed them to my insurance, as told.Documents were returned April 10. I found this out from personally calling my insurance on Friday, April 20. I also found out that the office is supposed to fill out the paperwork and submit it to the insurance company. Anyway...I called on April 23rd to find out about refiling the paperwork and was redirected to the Annapolis office (since this where all billing questions are redirected to). A rep at the desk informed me of the following:1. Call my insurance back to make sure the insurance sent it to the Annapolis office2. Call back in 1 business day because they dont check the mail too often so give them a chance to find the paperwork- LOL!!Eventually I hang up, call back, someone picks up the phone and places the phone down without even saying Hello or Hold on. I stay on the phone for 10 minutes and then hang up. I call back and am redirected to Coleen to leave a voice message. I was told I would get a call back that day. I did not get a call back.I called back today, for her to tell me that they would be willing to submit the documents again and would reimburse if my insurance works (my insurance is covered by the job that I currently work for- so I found this a bit insulting). I was also informed that the process would take about 30 days. This is very inconsiderate of my time and money.Time to find a new orthodontist.

Weve been very impressed with the warmth and kindness of Dr. Bolton and his staff. My seven year old was apprehensive about visiting an orthodontist, but left extremely optimistic about his care plan (the Xbox in the waiting room didnt hurt)! My son has been seeing Labbe Family Orthodontics for almost 6 years. He started Phase #1 when he was 6 years old and Phase #2 at 11 years old . He had a severe cross bite as well as his top teeth were very far apart. On Phase #1 he did expander, braces, moved on to retainer until teeth were properly grown and ready for Phase #2. We were presented with the options : traditional braces and Invisilign. Having a kid that is able to handle the responsibility, we allowed him to choose the Invislign. Its important for parents to evaluate the option as they know if their children can handle whats involved wearing removable braces. Invisilign is demanding and if instructions are not followed properly, it will be extremely time consuming and it can cost extra bucks as well. Dr. Labbes office is extremely professional, through and realist to each individual patient, as they value your time , believe and deliver a perfect smile at the end of the treatment. I overjoyed every time I see my sons perfect smile ( he is almost finishing his treatment!) and am only grateful everyday for the beautiful work by the entire practice as they truly work as a team. Its worth every penny! Every single visit we are reminded why we chose them ,we are thankful to the entire practice for making this entire process smooth and that your money is valued and they for sure deliver what they promise: A life better with a smile!

Dr Anderson is awesome, had a great experience with him for my invisalign.

I started my treatment a year ago this month. Dr. Labbe wowed me with all his technology at my first consultation. He assuranced me that he and his staff would take good care of me and that I would love my results. I didnt need a lot of work so I chose to do I invsilign and along with that came very little communication. Dr. Labbe shaved some of my lower teeth to help with over crowding, but took off too much on one of my front teeth. He noticed something was wrong when my final liner had not brought my teeth together properly, but assured me all would be fine. He then put me in overcorrecting liners. However, while my teeth look beautiful aesthetically my bite was off. He then decided to loosen my retainers which in turn created a gap in my lower front teeth. He never took responsibility for overshaving my teeth and did not offer compensation, but did offer to make me a new retainer for a fee. Needless to say, I purchased the new retainer and the gap is still there. I now wear my final over correcting liners instead of my retainers and am going to another orthodontist to fix the problem. You are a number to these people and cash in their pocket. Sadly, I would not recommend them to anyone.
