I had a wonderful experience working with Sheena as I healed from a broken ankle. Sheena was kind and considerate and we had great conversations as she introduced exercises and stretches and movement that were designed to get me back to 100%. I just finished my therapy and it was great to go from not being able to point my toes to being able to jump, skip and balance on the injured ankle. Thank you Sheena and Athletico staff for taking care of me. It was always hard work, but I really enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend Sheena and Athletico to anyone needing physical therapy.

I had a back injury from training for a half marathon that I thought was minor. I ran the half marathon and aggravated it immensely I got the assessment and started rehab that next day. They work with you on Availability and they are dedicated to helping you all around. This was a great experience and I would definitely come back.

I came to Athletico with a right shoulder problem; no surgery or trauma, just a variety of tight/weak/overstretched muscles of my shoulder and shoulder blade. I was treated 3x/week for one month by Sheena Long, DPT, ATC. Simply put, Sheena was an awesome therapist! She progressed me right along each treatment session, and (safely) challenged me with a variety of stretches and exercises. Frankly, after one week, I started to see marked improvement. Toward the end of the month, she incorporated electric stimulation with ultrasound to release trigger points and decrease pain levels in my upper back/”shoulder girdle” area; this was exactly what I needed!Another aspect of therapy, which was extremely helpful, was their home exercise program, accessible online or through their app. Instead of having a folder with 34 sheets of paper, you could access your individualized home exercise program with videos showing you how to perform each exercise. Talk about efficiency!My overall experience was excellent, and I’d highly recommend Sheena and Athletico PT Ypsilanti. The atmosphere was very welcoming, from Cozy (the very friendly, kind receptionist) to the one-on-one treatment sessions with Sheena. If I had to go back for more PT (hopefully, I don’t!), I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Athletico PT Ypsilanti on Washtenaw.
