Ive been coming to this practice for probably 8 years. I had a chiropractor that I loved back in Chicago, but now I live in Ann Arbor. Dr. Christiansen quickly had me feeling better and welcomed at her practice. Shes a very positive and smiling person who listens to where Im currently having issues. She has gotten me through my back and pain issues, but also supported me through other trying medical issues Ive faced. I completely trust her and feel comfortable with her recommendations and care.Donna, her receptionist/assistant always manages to get me in the same day when Im having a flare up--this is crucial for me, as my schedule is sometimes unpredictable.Further, during COVID, I see the precautions taken to disinfect and keep patients distanced and safe, and everyone is always wearing masks . . . always.

Refused to see me because of my lifestyle. Certainly a first from a “medical professional.” Dismayed and appalled to experience this type of discrimination.RESPONSE: Per the practice response, I suppose it is my misfortune to be the first HOMELESS person to seek medical treatment at this establishment, which I advised after presenting my identification. Though I offered my PO Box, which is the same address listed with my employer and insurance provider, this was refused. I offered my employer’s address as a “physical address” and this was also refused. I will not take risks to have my Personal Health Information (PHI) sent to just any address. If seeking medical attention while homeless is a violation of the law, I’d request the Michigan Chiropractors Association to point me to these statutes or regulations, because providing a PO Box does not seem to violate or offend any of the other health professionals that I see in four (4) states including Michigan. None of these duly licensed medical professionals have had any issues billing and/or getting paid be me AND my health insurance provider.Thank you for your well wishes, I do have a Chiropractor that I see in another state. This month, so far, I have traveled to 6 states, with 2 more to go before year’s end. With this frequency of travel and snow-birding away next month, I DO NOT have a need for a “home.” With frequent changes in cars, flights, and hotels, I DO have a need for chiropractic services. Mine is not a typical lifestyle, and it is NOT one that should subject me, or other members of the homeless population, to discrimination. Your sentiments are callous and very dismaying; your lack of professionalism is simply appalling.

Dr. Christiansen is absolutely phenomenal. When I first moved to the area I was searching for a smaller chiropractor business. What I have found with her, and the front desk staff, has been so warm, welcoming and healing! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my chiropractor needs.

I absolutely love this chiropractor! The office staff and the doctor were all extremely warm and kind. They greeted me kindly and made me feel very welcome. The x-rays they took on the first day went very smoothly. I didnt feel nervous or unsure at all. After the x-rays were taken the doctor greeted me kindly and then proceeded to very thoroughly go over the x-rays with me. She answered all my questions and made me feel like I could ask her anything. She payed close attention to how I was feeling and what my specific issues were. As she did each adjustment she explained what she was doing and why. I felt much better afterwards and am happy to keep coming back for as long as i can! They also accept all kinds of insurance and even if you are without insurance have a wonderful cash policy that they kindly explained to me. I would highly recommend this doctor!

I love coming to Dr. Christiansens office. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. You walk in and are greeted by one of the staff members (and a big bowl of candy) and they are always cheerful, and happy to see you! There is great flexibility in making appointments, and walk ins are always welcome! Dr. C is great at what she does, and youll be in and out in twenty minutes, feeling like new. Not to mention, the office is incredibly tidy and well-organized. I love the feeling of coming into an office where the staff knows what theyre doing, and take good care of me. I personally love using the heat tables, especially when its chilly outside. It warms up your muscles for an even better adjustment. I would recommend this office any day!

Great to get treated here. I had a treatment with this Chiropractor before and my experience was quiet unique. They follow the standard procedure of evaluating your body through X Rays and get your body relaxed before starting the adjustments. Initially I was a little nervous to adjust my neck but I felt really comfortable and really a lot better after going through adjustments in my back, neck and lower hips. If I am in Ann Arbor, I would definitely love to visit this place again.

Went in with a back ache that was debilitating and came out walking tall! Have visited this office several times and have always found myself leaving with a better quality of life. Really!

Dr. Christiansen is an awesome chiropractor!! She gives me effective adjustments and gets me feeling better fast! I enjoy using the traction beds there before my adjustment to loosen my back up too! They are super flexible about scheduling appointments and the office manager is great!!

Extremely welcoming environment and staff. They make it easy to come in and get the care you need and are able to get you in and out in no time if you just need a quick adjustment. After moving to Ann Arbor Dr. Christiansen and staff helped make my switch to her office very easy and was able to get me back on track in no time.

AVOID this place. Try somewhere else first. I jammed my hip in an accident and she immediately suggested getting a lift for my show do to uneven hips. I went for two months with no improvement. Two other chiropractors did more in one session. I fixed it myself with stretching...

I would still be going there if I hadnt relocated to Chicago; wish I could afford a private jet to fly back for treatments!

I have been a patient of Dr. Christiansen for about 10 years. At one point, not too long ago, I was an extreme case patient, barely mobile with a cane, in constant pain, depressed, and scared. Dr. C knew exactly what was going on with me when other medical professionals misdiagnosed my situation. Her care for me was topnotch. I trust her knowledge and advice 100 %. I cannot say those words about anyone else in the medical field. She was dedicated and determined to getting me back in the active state I am in today and I am forever grateful. I love Dr. Christiansen and I am so thankful to have her in my life taking care of me.

I came in with chronic pain. I found Dr. Christiansen to be compassionate, asking me questions at every visit. She listened and responded to my needs. As great of a chiropractor Dr. Christensen is, her office of various adjustment tables helped me greatly. The Hill Automatic Flexion table, Flexion Distraction as well as a Spinal Decompression table all served me at the right times. I join my voice to all of the other 5 star reviews that this chiropractic office is a very special place. Also now my pain is gone.

I have been going to Ann arbor family care chiropractic will be 3 months when I came in I was dealing with sciatica pain that was high after about 3 visits I was starting to feel better and better I strongly recommend Ann Arbor family chiropractic.

My inital visit to the Ann Arbor Family Chiropractic was for help with my severe neck pain back in August of this year (2016). Through the help of multiple visits I have not only been able to get rid of my neck pain completely, but I have also seen a dramatic decrease in the frequency of my migraines. Literally it has been a night and day difference for me and has been the only thing that has provided any consistent relief.Dr. Christiansen has been nothing short of amazing with her treatment for both my neck pain and my frequent migraines. She provides consistently thorough treatment that looks to track my progress and my pain level at every visit. On my first initial visit, with the help of her fantastic office manager Christina, Dr. Christiansen examined full spinal X-rays to help identify not only the root of the problem that was causing my neck pain, but also look to decrease the frequency of my migraines. Within about 2 weeks I would say, my neck pain was completely gone. As for my migraines, I went to having a migraine on a weekly basis, to only having two since my first initial visit in August, which for those of you that suffer from migraines know is a significant improvement. Every visit, Dr. Christiansen tracks my progress and my pain level to gauge how she should proceed with treatment.I have had nothing but a wonderful experience working with Dr. Christiansen. Not only can I expect to get great care and treatment at every visit, but I can also expect to get friendly service from both the Dr and the office manager Christina. I am always greeted with a smile and conversation that makes me feel more like a friend rather than just another patient. And they have always been understanding of my schedule and flexible with appointment times which is great. Overall, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the service and treatment that I have received since working with the Ann Arbor Family Chiropractic.
