Really wonderful experience. Everyone in this office is extremely kind and professional. They also had great handling of new Covid protocols. And the building itself is beautiful. I felt very supported during my treatment, and I’m very happy with the end results. I got my braces off about a week ago and it was amazing. No pain, nothing sore, nothing. It has been awesome to go to McNamara Orthodontics through out my orthodontic journey and it was amazing because I knew that I had amazing orthodontic professionals helping me along the way.

Going in, i knew i would have braces for a while. However, after seeing two other orthodontists they were, by far, the kindest people I have ever experienced! they really took pride in the kindness and care they gave. I have never had a bad experience at this office. they were thorough with explanation of anything done, and always had the best staff who would have conversations with me and make me feel welcome. Perfect experience with McNamera for my daughter’s braces. My dentist recommended I switch to them when our original orthodontist was taking more of a wait and see approach, she thought my daughter would benefit from earlier intervention. At the initial meeting, they laid out both options and the pros and cons - treatment now or wait. We decided to start early and she just finished summer before 8th grade - teeth look great. They made sure we understood every step of the process and always laid out what options we had and provided explanations on why they would choose a certain course. Both Dr.’s are great with kids and extremely knowledgeable. Their list of credentials, published papers, and the teaching they do at UM made me know we were getting the best and most well-informed care.

We had a wonderful experience at McNamara. Our daughter required two phases of treatment and many years of braces. The office is run efficiently and we never waited long for an appointment. They were thorough and made sure every issue was addressed completely. Very happy with her smile!

If I can give this office a no stars I would. Where do I even begin to start how a waste of my time this office was. I had three appointment I rescheduled and all different times and days. The first two I gave them 24 to more hours prior to rescheduling just as they asked and they held it against me anyway. Third appt I rescheduled because one of my kids had an emergency and I had to reschedule. That was held against me too. The unkindness and unfriendliness of this office is incredible! God forbid you have anything happen to you and you cant make an appt.They were rude on my first appt. I had my infant with me and it took me a bit getting him in a stroller and into the office with me so I ran 5 min into the appt or late and that was a big deal and they cant over look that. They dont look down their own noses at how they keep you waiting and are not considerate of your time. If you have a life this office is not for you. If you dont, welcome and be careful not to trip on your way in it might count against you, not the personal who run by this place. This is not a family friendly place either so if your juggling things like that in life, you most definitely will be discriminated against.

My son attends the college away from home. His retainer was suddenly broken. I was scrambling to find a good orthodontist in Ann Arbor for him yesterday and ended up luckily with exchanging several text messages with Laura at McNamara Orthodontics. Laura is very patient, friendly, knowledgeable, transparent and quick in providing all relevant information. I am particularly grateful that Laura is able to squeeze my son in for an appointment as a new patient this morning.My son went to the appointment today. He is pleased and is looking forward to his new retainer in two weeks.Thank you, Laura! Both the physicians are super smart and well regarded in their field, and also take the time to form a connection with the kids and their families. I highly recommend this practice.

Dont ever go there. Worst orthodontist ever. Horrible looking office. It was a little better when they were in the house next door. They dont give you candy at the end, like at a doctor appointment. Theyre such slackers they close at noon on Friday.

This place is amazing, in under 2 years Dr.McNamara had fixed my under bite while having braces on and made my teeth perfectly straight and white! I love coming here, it makes me feel like home. Free to get beverages, when you arrive you have an option to brush and floss your teeth before you see the dentist if you hadnt already. Not many dentists can do what they do. After your all done with treatments they give you this cute little hift basket of foods and candy that you couldnt eat with braces on. Would really consider going here.

First of all, everyone in this office is super nice and friendly. Every single person. Theyre also very easy to work with scheduling-wise and totally upfront with costs. My son got his braces off today after two years and his teeth look PERFECT. Were both very happy with the outcome and the process. Also they gave him an awesome gift basket of stuff he wasnt allowed to have with braces, which was so thoughtful and made him feel really good. (Also they did my retainers too and did a great job) As far as Im concerned, this is the best orthodontic practice in town.

Dr. McNamara corrected my teeth as a kid and now all three of my kids are current patients. My oldest just got her braces off and her teeth look fantastic. There is no place else we would ever consider going. The entire office/staff is fabulous.

NOTHING BUT THE BEST TREATMENT! This was my second time around in having braces. My experience is the office was very professional, caring, and nothing but the best treatment. I had to have my lower teeth straightened, because I was not wearing a retainer after having braces as a teen. I was reluctant as an adult to go again to redo what I already had been through years ago. I am very happy that I did, because my smile is brighter, and my bite feels more natural. The time seemed to go by fast for the results that I got. The staff there was very polite and always made sure that I was going to be taken care of for the results that I wanted. Anyone who has kids and even adults who want to get your smile back, this is the place to go!

McNamara Orthodontics is fantastic! After having interviewed several offices in Brighton and McNamara Orthodontics in Ann Arbor, I allowed my daughter to choose where she was most comfortable. I was delighted at her choice because from the first interactions the staff here have been highly skilled, clear with their plan and ability to explain to a lay person, and so caring. Dr. Jims sensitivity to the social emotional side of having braces won me over completely. This practice is fantastic! I had to get braces as an adult which made me appreciate the work they do all that much more. I was in braces for three years and in that time, countless dentists from multiple offices told me how lucky I was to have McNamara do my ortho. I was told that they near literally wrote the book on orthodontics!

My granddaughter came to Dr McNamara with a very bad bite problem. In fact, I didnt know she was chewing her food with only her front teeth until we had our initial exam with him. In less than 2 years her bite was corrected and her smile was absolutely beautiful. My only regret was that I didnt come to Dr McNamara for my other two grandchildrens ortho work. I received Invisalign at McNamara Orthodontics and am happy with my smile. I had traditional braces when I was younger. Having the option to re-straighten my teeth with clear aligners fit in with my life style easily.The staff is very friendly and knowledgable.
