The doctors and nurse was extremely helpful and professional. The exam and consultation went smoothly. My wife eyes are bad and she needed a prescription pair. I on the other hand just need bifocals. October 17 was our appointment can you guess whose glasses came first? Wifes in 5 days. It has been 21 days and I still havent seen my glasses. I call no answer, but when they do answer its someone filling in for the I need to talk to. They take my number someone will call back to let me know whats going on. 6 six times no follow up call. DONE.... Going tomorrow to get money back.

I have noticed a huge change in how they treat people since the doctors sold to this company My Eye Dr.. Im 49 and have been a 30 year patient of 2 of the doctors there but mostly Dr DeLoach for over 25 years`.I could not get through on the phone this past weekend. Their phone was not working. I scheduled an appointment online. A MONTH OUT! I called Monday to verify the appointment and it was valid online.I then asked for a backup pair of contacts to hold me over until my appointment a month out. I am traveling to New York and never like to travel without a backup pair.I was told my prescription expired and that they could not issue me a pair. I was shocked. They have done this in the past. I pay for one pair as a backup just in case something happens. They would let a patient go out of town and not offer the backups. Its not like Im asking for prescription drugs. I have bad eyesight and it concerns me traveling without an extra pair.I guess corporate America has snuck in my eye doctors office. I never used to be treated like this. I am now after 30 years seriously considering leaving my eye doctor. I dont know any of these people Im dealing with and they could care less. What makes me sad is I consider my eye doctor a really great guy. :( But no one likes to be treated like that.

Recently , I was referred to the myeyedr. by the VA. Today was my first visit, and I have nothing but high accolades for Dr. Thomas Deloatch and his entire staff!!! The atmosphere was very positive and pleasant, and I felt very comfortable and at ease throughtout my entire appointment/visit. Doctor Deloatch is an outstanding physician! Hes very professional, and he provided me with excellent service. As he performedmy eye exam, he clearly explained his diagnosis - step-by-step. Thankfully, doctor Deloatch was able to provide me with a good report. During our dialogue, doctor Deloatch gave me a great deal of valuable medical information concerning the health of my eyes, which was truly beneficial to me. I would highly recommend Doctor Deloatch to anyone else who needs professional eye care. Ernest Sapp.

I have been a patient for many years. While I dont have a problem with Dr. Deloatch I do have a problem with the company that bought out eye associates. I made my regular yearly eye exam and went to it this morning. I live approximately 40-45 min away. My eye exam is always filed under my medical insurance. I have had the same insurance and the same card for many years. Never a problem. This morning they inform my that my card is invalid, Nope...Its not. I called my insurance company while standing at the receptionist desk and even had the rep. talk to the receptionist. The girl at the front desk told me that they were not supposed to call the insurance company. She also told me that corporate wouldnt either. She then told me that I could pay and file myself. Problem with that is Im going to pay them full amount and my insurance company will only reimburse me the contracted amount. I wound up cancelling my appointment because they were unwilling to find out why their system was saying my insurance was invalid when it was never invalid prior to being sold to another company. I went from their office straight to another doctor who had no problem pulling up my insurance. You have lost 2 patients because of this inability and unwillingness to straighten out a problem on your system.
