Every time I enter this place, the staff are warm and welcoming. I never have to wait long. And my doctor is informative, listens to my concerns, and is overall awesome.

Sad to see the other poor reviews, because Ive had nothing but great experiences at The Corvallis Clinic as a whole. My husband and I both have the same PCP at the Waverly Drive location, who weve been seeing for the past 2ish years. Hes been absolutely great to us and is always friendly and personable. All the other staff (front desk, lab and the nurses/assistants) Ive interacted with have always been really kind and helpful. Never had to wait a super long time to get in or make an appointment (at most an appointment is a week out, but I feel like thats relatively normal). Weve been able to get referrals to other services in a timely manner. I also see an OBGYN at the North Albany location, which Ive also had nothing but good experiences with.

I cannot express the disappointment I have with Dr. Andrew Rice and the Corvallis Clinic Neurology Team. Towards the end of 2018 I had a neurology appointment with Dr. Rice with the intentions of establishing care and discussing the epilepsy that I was diagnosed with by the Navy and confirmed with by several neurologists. I also intended to talk about the migraine-esque headaches I’ve had since my last seizure in 2015.He entered the room and immediately said,” Would you rather talk about the seizures or headaches, because I have have other patients and only time to talk about one.” He then immediately let me know that he reviewed my file and that he is confident that I have sleep apnea that he says is the cause of the seizures (no cause has yet been determined), he let me know he would confirm that with tests and then take me off the seizure medicine I take (the medicine that has kept me seizure free since 2015.) The appointment lasted about 15 minutes of my allotted hour, and he was halfway out the door, door already opened, and he asked if I had anymore questions. I started mentioning the extreme anxiety that I still deal with because of my hx of seizures..but he stopped me and let me know that that isn’t his “focus” and to see someone else about that.I have since taken the Sleep Apnea tests and it was determined that I don’t have sleep apnea. He was wrong and he also wasn’t compassionate or caring.Immediately after the appointment, I felt upset and disappointed so I ended up calling and speaking with the Supervisor(Customer Service) to voice my concerns. I’m not a big conflict person, so my wife also voiced my concerns with her, and she agreed to switch me to another Neurologist, Dr. Svoboda. Although she did inform us that it was kind of taboo to transfer care, because it might cause bad blood between the staff.Based on Dr. Svoboda’s online profile I had more confidence that Dr. Svoboda would definitely be an upgrade, but most importantly a doctor that actually cared.I was scheduled for an appointment with her I believe in January of 2019 originally. I got a voicemail stating that I would need to reschedule due to scheduling conflicts. So I rescheduled for I believe May of 2019. About a week before my appointment I got another voicemail stating I needed to reschedule for scheduling conflicts. This started to seem fishy, due to the supervisors “bad blood” comments. I rescheduled with Dr. Svoboda for August 2019. The day of the appointment I received a voicemail saying that I need to reschedule and reschedule with Dr. Andrew Rice. I called and informed the staff that I was supposed to see Dr. Svoboda and explained the whole story. They stated that they see no prior documentation stating that I had an unpleasant experience with Dr. Rice to warrant a transfer of care. I was surprised and asked how that could be possible, and described the best that I could the supervisor I spoke with over the phone who should have documented it. Kailey said she would investigate and call me back.I appreciate Kailey and Brittney the receptionists who did show compassion and understanding. However they called back and let me know that they were informed I would only be able to see Dr. Rice if I were to continue neurology care there. Otherwise I have to be referred out.I can only assume that the Dr. Rice incident was never officially reported as it could have been to spare him of any consequence. Or maybe Dr. Rice blocked Dr. Svoboda seeing me as to not tarnish his reputation. At this point all I’m asking for is to see a neurologist that shows compassion and cares for the patient. I’m sure I will with my referral,as I was previously an EMT before I was in the Navy and never have seen a medical professional act like Dr. Rice. I hope no one has to go through this type of experience.

The doctors are fantastic, BUT, make sure you keep all receipts and be ready to deal with billing and whoever codes the charts. Ive never had to prove I paid so many times before.

I had told them (Albany Family Clinic) what time I would arrive. They said ok. I drove an hour to get here and then they told me I had to wait 45 minutes to have lunch which they should have told me when I told them I was going to be there at 12) They said they would take me first but didnt. I was late for work. Lost pay, got dinged for it. They evidently care more about their lunch then thier patients!

I never even made it to one appt there. I made my initial appointment three months in advance. I got a call less than 2 hours before my appt that it had been cancelled. Frustrating since I had waited three months but I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, understanding that life happens. Had to reschedule it for another month out and it was again cancelled a few hours before my appt. No apology from the doctor or receptionist. I will be looking for another clinic as I cannot sacrifice my health waiting for a doctor that continually cancels. Appalled at how this clinic is run

If I could put a negative # , I would. Ive been seeing a nurse practitioner there for years, one day I was 8 minutes late and the staff refused to treat me, they said I needed to make another appointment. Since, my prescriptions have expired and they refuse to put in refills! How many times has a doctors office made you wait, maybe we could bill them! I will never return to this office and I warn anyone who might want to be treated there.
