She even moved my appointment up closer so I could get in sooner. When I arrived, I was taken care of quickly. Dr. Hansen listened to me and made me feel heard. They were able to make sure everything worked for me and I was comfortable. I was given all the time needed to ask questions.The infusions are hard to describe. It’s like they bring you to a place in your mind where you can think clearly and positively. I can’t pinpoint when I started to feel better but it was after the 5th infusion I believe. It’s like the brain fog lifted. Instead of waking up in the morning and thinking, “what do I have to get through today?” I find I’m waking up and I’m excited about what’s in store.My one wish is that this treatment becomes available to more people. This was truly life changing for me, allowed me to maintain employment, and got me out of a bout of major depression. Thank you, Albany Ketamine!

I wasnt sure what to expect but the staff was assuring and courteous. The room was safe and comfortable and had a call button if I needed assistance. Although it was my first time so not sure yet about long term benefit, I felt emotions that I hadnt felt in quite a while. Things seem sharper and I accomplished some of the basic tasks that my depression usually stops me from doing. I would recommend for anyone with medication resistant depression.

Anyone experiencing major depression, especially suicidal ideations, go. Do it. It can save your life.

I have been going to Albany Ketamine for almost two years. I have always had such a great experience there. Dr Hansen is a very kind, caring and compassionate doctor. He always takes the time to listen to me and we review together what meds he will use during my infusion and come to an agreement on what works best for me. I was getting infusions at a center that was four hours away and was always very sick afterwards. Dr Hansen has taken the time to adjust my meds so that we found a combination that does not make me as sick. You can tell that he really cares about his patients and wants to help people feel better. Ive been diagnosed with treatment resistant severe depression for more years than I can count by now. I have been on over 35 psychiatric medications and spent two years doing electroconvulsive treatments. After my last breakdown we had two options that were both considered experimental at the time: either ketamine or a brain implant. I chose ketamine and I cannot be more thankful: it has singlehandedly changed me from being a constant suicide threat to now being a functional adult. I can now get out of bed, have loving relationships, and hold a job. Ive been going to this clinic for 2-3 years and the entire staff is very supportive, understanding, and responsive. They seem legitimately invested in my mental wellbeing but also are fun people to chat with. I can text them at any time to set up appointments and they get back to me within that day. Im happy to see them growing and I hope this review will assist with that.

Trisha and the Doctor are absolutely fantastic people!!! They saw my boyfriend and were absolutely amazing with how they treated him. My boyfriend suffers from Fibromyalgia, trama and various mental illnesses. When he visits they always check up on his mental health by asking if hes seen any changes, if someone brings him they also as that person if they have seen any changes, made sure he was seeing a therapist and lastly do check up calls. There detail to how his mental and physical health is really warms my heart. He suffers from two invisible illnesses and the staff REALLY care about him and him getting better. His mental health has indeed changed. He says he has more control over his emotions and doesnt internalize his emotions nearly as much as he used to. This morning he received terrible news but instead of self harming and getting mad he accepted it, was still upset but watched TV instead. The infusions helped him be able to express himself better which helps hold less tension in his body. I cant wait to see what other great things come from this place.

I wish I could say they helped, but it is just prolonging the inevitable. This should not be done without counseling. You come in, get your fix, and leave. My son went through the 6 treatments, he od last night and is gone. I would not recommend this treatment unless it absolutely goes hand in hand with some type of therapy.

Albany Ketamine is fantastic. Really good doctors who listen and believe their patients. Plus they wear black coats..... No more white coats. As someone who has severe mental and physical conditions that ketamine helps like none other for me. This is the best ketamine center I have found so far.

I was suffering from depression, anxiety, eating disorder since i was 14. i Had a breakdown in 2018, i lost everything. Regular treatment with zoloft, celexa, didnt worked well for me. The Ketamin really works, but you have to help yourself through the process, no alcohol, fish oils supplements, B12 and exercising 3 times a week. People around me thought i was going to be upset with Ketamin treatment, but weeks later they were all asking me questions and some wanted to go for themselves. i Had 2 treatments- it last for more than 6 months. Ill keep going twice a year until im completely free from anxiety. I hate side effects of regular pills, so ketamin is 5 stars. No such thing.This clinic is a life-saver for me.
