The staff at LasikPlus made sure I was great candidate for surgery. Their test are very thorough and complete. They go over what to expect during, after, and beyond surgery. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. The consultation is free and surgery is performed every Friday. The surgery itself was very quick and not too uncomfortable. Dr. Gabriels is very kind and explains everything to you step by step. The first few hours afterwards are the worst but it gets better by the minute. Expect a lot of eye drops both during the procedure and for a while after. With my astigmatism corrected my vision is now better than it ever was with contacts. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend LasikPlus.

I am so impressed with the professionalism and kindness with Lasix plus in Albany.I had the initial lasix procedure in February and was surprised at how smooth and seem less scheduling and surgery was performed. I felt “good” about my vision but not great. Why? Well I have a very severe stigmatism and was told by others I may not be candidate. So post surgery Dr Gabriel’s assured me he’s a perfectionist and would make things right but to trust his expertise. I followed up post op as instructed and I was asked to give it time. 6 months later I called to let the Lasix team know that I wanted a recheck because things had healed and I loved not having contacts but I still felt a slight haze and not a clear vision as expected. After a follow up appointment I was offered an enhancement, which meant going into surgery again. I trusted the expertise of my team.So happy I did. Appointment was 3:15, showed up on time and didn’t leave till 6:30. My ride was advised to show up 1.5-2 hours after the arrival time. They waited in the car from 4:50-6:30. Thankfully they waited that long. When I finally got called in, the doctor stepped out to smoke a cigarette. Worst experience of my life, and longest wait time I’ve ever dealt with. I left work early to sit for 3 hours waiting. I lost money to just sit staring at a tv.

I recently had surgery at LasikPlus. I am 40, and and before surgery I had read that Lasik could affect your close vision. During my consultation I asked several times if this surgery could damage my close vision. I always received he same response, that after 40 everyone eventually needs reading glasses. So I asked more directly if this surgery could damage my close vision and was told that it could not. While I do enjoy better far vision, the next day when I woke up my close vision was so damaged that I couldnt read at all. Its been about 2 months since the surgery now, and it has improved since surgery, but I still have a difficult time with my near vision and it was definitely damaged by the surgery. I should have been told that this could happen. If I had known that instead of wearing contacts every day Id have to wear reading glasses I wouldnt have gone through with the surgery.

I had a great experience both my pre-consultation, my surgery, and post-op consultation with the both friendly and very professional staff. Not only did they answer all my questions but they also were happy to show me some pro-tips like putting my eye drops in the fridge. Overall the surgery took 15 minutes if not fewer. Surgery requires a two-step process from one machine to the second machine. Immediately after getting my eyes lasered I was able to see much further than ever previously before without my glasses. As my eyes continue to heal my vision continues to improve so its not a instant process but a gradual healing process. Less than 24 hours after my surgery I had 20/40 vision which is excellent compared to where I was. I would highly recommend this service and the amazing staff here plus they give me a free t-shirt but I was in a review this regardless.

The staff members made sure I understood the process of the surgery and the financial guidelines and eye treatments. Staff was extremely kind and patient as I felt welcomed. During the surgery, I felt nervous and hesitant during the process but the surgeon and his fellow staff ensured I was comfortable and pain free before they would continue with every step. I had my right eye done, its now 20/20. The procedure was not painful at all for me, I only felt some pressure on my eye but it was not intolerable. All the staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. I am very happy I got it done and I would definitely recommend it for anybody thinking about having it done.

Im not someone who typically posts negative reviews but my experience at the Albany LasikPlus was the single worst medical experience Ive ever had. I had Lasik done in October of 2020, I have no complaints about my vision. Its still not perfect at night but is otherwise about the same as it was with contacts. After my consultation I made a decision on which surgery I would get and what type of warranty. On the morning of my surgery the doctor coerced and scared me into paying $1,800 more than what I expected to pay. When I asked specific questions about why I needed the upgrade I was talked down to and patronized by the doctor. I felt that the staff took advantage of me just before surgery in order to upsell me. The whole process was rushed, I was given very little information, I was terrified the whole time and the only person who showed any real care was the receptionist. The whole thing was incredibly painful and traumatic. Really look into and research their sales tactics before you schedule a surgery here. Following my surgery I did some digging and found that staff is offered bonuses to sell more surgeries. Should doctors really be able to make money off upselling medical procedures to nervous patients 15 minutes before theyre performed? They were pushing people through like cattle and the doctor (not the surgeon who was fine) was more like a used car salesman. I filed an official complaint with company headquarters and asked to be refunded the difference to pay what I was originally quoted. They ignored me for weeks and finally denied me. Learn from my mistake and do some thorough research before getting this procedure. I now have a warranty I will never use because Im terrified to ever go back to that office. I would steer as clear as you can of LasikPlus.

Booked an appointment, showed up, been over the maximum appointment time frame of three hours and I have yet to even be seen by dr or even had the courtesy of an update by the staff. Needless to say, will never recommend this location or company. Very disappointed as I booked them based off a referral on how good the service was. Apparently a year makes all the difference.*after the surgery has been great. If the team had merely set clear expectations and didn’t keep me sitting in a room, during a pandemic with people who may or may not have Covid (or interactions with people who have Covid) definitely would have been a better review score.

The doctors and staff of this office are absolutely phenomenal. They answered every question, took care of my every need, kept me informed of every step before, during, and after my procedure. I started the process before the pandemic hit and they were in contact with me the entire time about postponing my procedure and calling to schedule my appointment when the office opened back up. I ended up having a wrinkle scare about a week after my procedure and when I called, they let me come in and be seen as soon as I could physically be there. They accommodated my concern without complaint, and actually with concern and care of their own! I will be recommending this procedure and this specific location to anybody and everybody who will listen. I’m amazed at the outcome, and I will forever be grateful for the gift these lovely people have given me. A million thank you’s are nowhere near enough. Thank you!!!!!!!!

My wife and I both had eye correction procedures done at LasikPlus in Albany and we both had very good experiences there. The staff is very nice and will answer any questions that you have. They walk you through the steps of the process and explain anything you want to know.The turn around from initial consultation to actual Lasik procedure was very quick (you can sometimes even do them both in the same week, if not the next). Expect to be there on the day of the procedure for about 2 hours (the actual procedure takes about 10 to 15 minutes).I had my procedure back around 2012 and my results have been great! I had extreme near sightedness and astigmatism. I would do the procedure all over again if I needed to. My wife just had hers done but so far, so good.

Had a consultation here but decided to go somewhere else for the surgery. The staff was friendly. The doctor I met with was polite. One reason I didnt go here for the procedure was due to the fact that the laser that creates the flap and the one that makes the correction are on opposite sides of the room. You have to stand up and be guided across the room. I felt more comfortable at a location where the lasers are in the same spot and you slide between the two on the platform. I also felt this facility was slightly more sales-oriented. They seemed to incentivize leaving Google reviews with free t-shirts/etc.

I have never been treated so well at a provider office. The staff is incredible and are friendly, and accommodating. They tell you through your surgery day and calm the nerves. The day of the surgery I met Ny surgeon and the staff that would be in the operating room. The procedure took around 15 minutes and the staff in the operating room kept reassuring me that I was doing so good (which was nice because I felt like I was moving a lot and that something was going to go wrong). They gave me stress balls during the procedure which was clutch because it’s a focal point to take anxiety away from the actual procedure. I am writing this review three days after my procedure and I have to say that I am more than satisfied with my results. By far one of the greatest decisions of my life. Thank you LasikPlus! Oh and you get a free t-shirt for writing reviews! This company is wonderful. I highly recommend👍🏻

Everyone here was amazing from start to finish. They truly do care about their patients. Dr. Gabriels and the rest of the team helped to make me feel comfortable and at ease during the procedure. I went from not being able to see the big E on the eye chart to not needing glasses at all. Dream come true!

Horrible even with an appointment you have to sit and wait 3+ hours because they cannot get their equipment to work which is very concerning. They also quoted max cost possible is $2000 per eye and when my husband got there he had to pay almost $1000 more than the max quoted cost and they couldn’t explain why. Don’t come here if you care about your eyes.Edit to add: their laser stopped working while they were with a patient which is honestly really scary. They cancelled everyone else’s appointments after making them wait for several hours after their appointment time. I cannot stress enough don’t come here if you care about your eyes.

I went into this procedure hopeful for a pleasant experience and decent results. However, my expectations were a bit low. I was blown away by the level of excellence from the first visit, until I was released yesterday. I hoped for 20/20, but I got 20/15. My vision is clear and crisp and I’m only 7 days out. Each case is different, but I highly recommend LASIK Plus, they really are a class act!!

I just had it done & woke up the next day & could see like I had my contacts in! Little hazy & halo lights at night just as expected sometimes but I had 20/15 vision when I went for my recheck 3 days after surgery! Definitely worth the money. I went to the Paramus facility and my experience was outstanding. I had been to a few providers before but LasikPlus was at a whole new level. The initial consultation was quick, I didn’t feel pressurized to sign up right away (even though I did as I got a great price) and the procedure itself was carried out well. Post op care instructions were well defined and I’m not on Day 5 and no problems. Can see very well, no pain and glad I came here

Best decision I made!! The most frustrating part was not being able to open my eyes for a couple hours, but had no pain. Took two Tylenol PM when I left the office and slept for, four hours. Woke up and could see . Some days were a little blurry, but that went away. Two weeks have gone by and I’m so happy I did it. Highly recommend.

Just had my surgery last Friday. Was a very positive experience.The staff at the front desk was awesome and helped me out with everything from planning to finance.Doctors were great, surgery was quick and easy, took about 5 minutes.There is a brief 2-3 hour period of not wanting to live anymore post-OP, but that is quickly overshadowed by waking up and knowing you will see 20/20 without glasses/contacts for years to come. Its an amazing feeling. Relief set in about 3 hours after the surgery for me and then by the next morning I pretty much felt good as new. When I went for my follow up I could see the 20/15 chart pretty easily. My night vision also seemed to improve as well.Definitely recommend this location to get your surgery done. A few of my friends got theirs done here as well and some are coming up on 10 years without needing any touchups. I agree with all other reviews that I wish I had done this sooner...Thank you lasik plus!

Very friendly staff who care about your experience. The surgeon has years of experience and I felt completely comfortable going in for my surgery. The surgery itself went perfectly, and afterward I went home and slept for the day. My eyes did burn for a couple hours after the surgery, but after that they felt fine. I’m happy I got the procedure done. I can see 20/15 without contacts or glasses and that is wonderful. It’s day three and my eyes are dry but much less scratchy, and they continue to improve each day. The actual surgery was uncomfortable and kind of scary for me. Everyone was very nice and did their best to make it less scary. The only real negative is that I had a 3:00 pm surgery time. By the time I was called for surgery it was 5:45 pm. I was in a room of people just waiting for 2 hours and 45 minutes. It seems as though the waiting could have been avoided with a better system as each surgery is about 15 minutes long.

I am so glad I chose LasikPlus in Albany. Everyone was comforting and informative. I have 20/20 vision now and its only been 3 months and I am officially free of contacts and glasses. The procedure was quick and after a few follow ups I am set with a lifetime warranty!!! My only regret is that I didnt do it 10 years sooner. If you are considering it. DO IT!!! I had farsightedness and astigmatism in both eyes. I went in and was a good candidate for lasik. The can schedule you in fast for the surgery. I got my surgery a week from my consultation. The procedure was quick, only 5-10 minutes. The waiting they tell you you’ll have to do is just for paperwork, explaining post op care and discussing payment. They do financing through care credit and have their own financing. The staff is amazingly kind. I had some burning and irritation in my eyes the first 4-5 hours but after resting for a while after I got home, I put in my first round of eye drops and my eyes didn’t hurt. It felt good to walk around without my glasses and see so well. I’m 20 and I’ve had glasses since 3rd grade, so for the first time being able to walk around with no corrective lenses or contacts and feel confident was amazing. I highly recommend lasik plus

I just had my procedure yesterday, and Im already seeing close to 20/20. My vision was absolutely horrible before, I had a super high prescription, and a bad astigmatism in both eyes. Obviously, I was nervous about getting the procedure, considering its my vision were dealing with. The results, however, are great so far. The procedure itself was very quick, completely painless. The main thing I can say about it, was its odd. In reality, Im a pretty curious person, and I found the procedure to be really interesting, nothing scary about it, I found it to be a neat experience. The doctors and staff are great. Stephanie and I instantly became BFFs ;)My eyes dont hurt at all today, they actually are not even red. They were more bloodshot from wearing contacts! I get its a scary concept, but the consultation is free, so its worth going in and checking everything out for yourself. The fact that I am sitting here writing this review on my phone with no problem seeing what Im typing, the day after my procedure, blows my mind.

Although the surgery went well without any complications, the process got me a little turned off. When I arrived for my appointment time there were 8 people still in front of me, it was obvious that they double book appointment times to get people in the door with no regard for the wait. I was then surprised to see that there was a viewing window into the surgery room for everyone to see the procedure. This is unprofessional and a violation of the patient’s privacy. For over two hours I waited while people were yelling comments about what they saw through the viewing window only raising everyone’s anxiety. Several people in the waiting area expressed how this was inappropriate. At the very least the patient should give consent to viewing the procedure and it should be separated from the waiting area.

Doctor gabriel was great, even all the nurses where also informative and very nice...thank you I woke up this morning and could read everything coming from someone who was seeing with a +9.50 perscription to seeing 20/20 the following day words cant even explain how good it feels after having to wear glasses since I was 2 years old and then contacts since I was 33 years old

I have had nothing but positive results since the procedure. I went in not being able to see without contacts or glasses and now .....WOW my first follow up which was three days out from the procedure I have 20/15 vision. I do have the normal cloudiness which they said was to be expected. The staff at 12 Corporate Woods Blvd in Albany NY is without question the best there is. They are fun, informative, caring and just all around AWESOME. Thank you so much to Jessica Fleischman and her whole staff.

Came to this location in Albany for my boyfriend’s PRK surgery. The staff is extremely friendly, especially Kate and Stephanie! The environment is very comforting and I definitely would recommend this location.

Highly recommend. The entire staff are so incredibly kind and patient (shout out to Amy who was amazing). The first few hours afterwards were painful but once you wake up from napping you will feel much much better. 20/20 vision only 12 hrs post procedure!! 😄

I had a wonderful experience! The staff went above and beyond to calm my nerves and I really appreciated that. There is a lot of education provided before the procedure which made it feel like a bigger process that it actually was. Once I was laying on the table it only took about 10 minutes! ! I felt completely prepared for the recovery process; and although my vision was slightly blurry. .. I had 20/20 vision at my follow up less than 24 hours later! Overall, I highly recommend this location/procedure!

Beyond the excellent service provided to me as soon as I walked in their doors, I really appreciate the great staff who truly put effort and care. Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything (how the procedure goes, after care, payment plans, etc). They are truly good and warm-hearted people. Dr. Fleishman was very approachable, humble and professional. From the beginning I was assured of her skills and it was proven during my surgery.The surgery went really well and I am thankful to be provided a life changing procedure by the amazing staff, in this location.

Staff is incredibly helpful and very professional. Everyone is dedicated to customer service, it was easy to get an appointment and get my lasik done quickly. They have decent financing options as well as discounts. Definitely would recommend this office to a friend!

Just had my Lasik procedure yesterday. Not gonna lie, the first 4-5 hours were painful. Couldnt wait to fall asleep. I just kept taking the drops and eventually I was able to watch some TV. I was very fortunate to have a very caring boyfriend to put the drops in for me. I could not have done it alone. This morning I felt 100% better. I can watch TV with the glasses off and can put my own drops in. I highly recommend it.

I was referred by my sister who had huge success with her eyes. I love the staff!!! The Surgeon is quick an professional. I love their method of counting down during steps of the process. It has been exactly 16 weeks since my procedure (11.8.19) and my vision is amazing. I had my consultation on 11.7.19 and they were able to schedule me the next day for the procedure with Jereyll Jackson. My procedure cost around $3400 (this included a discount) and this was the best price I found compared to other Lasik locations. All of the staff were friendly and the location was clean and accommodating. Staff did seem adamant about clients posting a review of them and/or checking in while at the location, which is incentivized by getting a free T-shirt. For each review that is made, LasikPlus also donates a few dollars to the Ronald McDonald charity.I would suggest buying the preservative free eye drops from another location prior to having the surgery. I bought the drops from LasikPlus, a 25 pack costing $15, but found them cheaper at Walmart after the procedure. If you are having your procedure done in the fall/winter, as I did, it is very important to keep your eyes moisturized/hydrated due to the dry air. Even though they state you will only need to use the drops for 3 months following the procedure, I plan to continue using them up to 6 months being that it is still winter.

I have done by lasik on 03/30/2019 and my first post op checkup done today and I can see 20/20. Just want to let you all know staff and Dr was very friendly, as they told me 1st 6hr was terrible burning on eye after procedure, after that slow I call open my eyes and see things clearly. I recommend to there, they are professional people.
