Jenny at MK gives the BEST most consistent and cleanest fades I’ve ever had. She’s easy going and easy to talk to. She’s quick and the fade is perfect every single time. Do yourself a favor, leave the neighborhood barber shop behind, and go give her a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.If I could leave a 5* review after every hair cut I would! I’ve been to countless barber shops over the years and have always had the same problem, the cuts are rarely consistent. Some times you get a great cut other times you leave with lines on your head.

This was my first time here and Ill never be going anywhere else. Ive never received so many compliments in my life. The cut and the color are phenomenal. The color is holding up extremely well after several washes. Its such a welcoming environment. James and Michael are very knowledgeable and professional. They take the time to listen and give recommendations. The entire staff are all very kind and personable. It was a wonderful experience.

My hair was tangling when i road my motorcycle so i wanted to get my ponytail braided,.most places didnt do braids so i looked online and found mk salon &barber .they had great reviews and photos.stoped in there and kenyon too me right in and shaped an trimmed it really nice then he called Amanda and she came in and did the braid. hows that for service. what an ausume job she did.they are the best ever. cant say enough .

I went for a shampoo, and blowout style. So relaxing getting my have shampooed. My hair feels so nice and soft. Michael blow dried my hair and styled looks great. Nice products to keep my hair in shape too. The shop is very attractive and clean a very nice experience and felt my hair looked great when I left the shop. Barber Naveed did an amazing job. Our son who by far is not the most patient nor calm 9 year old wanted only the sides of his hair trimmed and to include a design from “Among Us” on the side of his head. He found a photo for Naveed to duplicate and let me tell you he did an amazing job! Thanks!!

My best first-time experience at a salon. Michael is an absolute joy. I came in for a hair cut and what I also got from this extremely talented man was an education from a very knowledgeable and talented professional. He provided skills such as active listening and expertise in his feedback and recommendations which made me feel valued and cared for. I did not expect the spa-like treatment that I received and loved.Michael worked with me to determine my desired style and completely nailed it. He took his time to ensure that he created precisely what I requested. I am very picky about who does my hair and havent been able to find a good hair stylist. Ive gone to Rumors and paid for a $50 hair trim and still wasnt satisfied. I had Danielle do my hair at MK and finally found someone who cuts my hair the way I WANT it to be done. She gave me the whole royal treatment. While I waited I got to sit in the massage chair, they offered me coffee in these fancy little tea cups, when she washed my hair I got a head massage with a hot towel on my face. She even did my makeup, cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, gave me an incredible blow out. When she was finished I looked amazing. When I got home my boyfriend couldnt believe how good I looked and offered to take me out to dinner (he wanted to show me off lol). I will be going to MK from now on, finally found my hair stylist. Danielle and Michael were incredibly down to earth, funny and easy to talk to. I highly recommend.

Wanted to try somewhere new and luckily found Amanda Severance at MK Beauty. Had a wonderful VIP service and feel like a fresh new woman, plus she is so down to earth and great to talk to. She did an amazing job giving me the style I want while working with my covid home haircuts haha. I normally dont get my hair cut more than once a year but Ill be back for trims because she did such a great job and I really enjoyed my time ^.^ The salon is small, but clean and professional :)

I am new to the area and need a new hairdresser since the one i had for years has left the area as well. I tried this place out because of all the great reviews but was not completely happy with the service. In the end my hair turned out ok but Marr was very rough on my head. Found flaws in the color the next day when putting my hair up but luckily am able to hide them. Found out at the end of the appointment he had only been working there a week. Not sure how much experience he has but he treated my head like a mannequin head so I am going to guess not much at all. I also think I was over charged. I have never been charged for highlights AND toner. Toner is 10 minutes and comes with highlighting service everywhere else I have ever gone. Needless to say, I will not be back.

First and foremost, best service Ive ever had for any beauty salon. The people were really good and friendly to a good customer. Especially with the little of knowing that this customer doesnt normally strike conversations. Secondly, there is NOT a SINGLE salon where there was a first time discount with extra features included. Those include a hair wash and dry with pure eco-friendly soap bars and cleansing spray. The technology there was definitely state of the art. Its my first time at a public place after moving and this is already an absolute favorite. One of the closest places to my house, by the way. Im probably gonna get my hair dyed there when I can.

I have had haircuts/styles at many places my most recent cut with MK was the absolute best I have ever had! He listened to what I told him about my lifestyle and needs and gave me the perfect cut! Great communication throughout and I will not go to another stylist again!!!

I cant say enough good stuff about this salon. Michael and James listened to what I was trying to achieve with my hair style and color, and were both mark on with the end result, they didnt just do what they wanted as most stylists do. Very pleasant and relaxing upon entry, customer service was awesome! Beth is another stylist and she was very accommodating asking me if I needed anything, if I was comfortable. Daughter wanted a change from slightly below shoulder length hair to a fairly short “pixie/bob” Her hair came out beautifully and she absolutely loves it. Before cutting her hair it was suggested she donate to Wigs For Kids. Win win! She is happy and she gets to help someone else be happy also!

I was hoping to setup an appointment here as someone else recommended them. It was a Saturday morning so I called just before they opened. Didnt get an answer so I waited until 9 to call again, and then again at 915. I then drove over assuming they must be busy so I could see how long the wait was. Lights were off and the door was locked. I waited until 9:30 and still no one showed up. I then called again and no one answered. I found Zacks duo barbershop across the street and couldnt be happier! I was glad to wait the 30 minutes for the next available slot.Around 10am I got a call from MK and he apologized for missing my phone call as they were extremely busy I then told him I showed up and his doors were locked with the lights off. He then told me oh yeah I got in a little late (apparently an hour is a little late)I wouldve understood and appreciated the truth right off the bat. If hes willing to lie about this how else does he lie with his business and customers?Its not worth finding out for me, and I dont recommend anyone else find out either. Just go over to Zacks and get an awesome haircut from an honest and great barber!!

Had a cut and color done with James. The shade that I wanted was a tricky Ruby Red and he got it exactly right. He sat down and went over what he was doing before he got started, very professional. Michael also cuts and colors my hair (see the picture) and Hes fantastic at his trade!! We are open 7 days a week. I just started opening on Sundays from 10-5 2 months ago and since the start Sundays have proven to be a great day for business. You will not regret coming here ! :)

I met the owner before he opened at this location. I will gladly make the 25 minute drive to have Michael cut my hair. It is a peace of mind to have someone who is consistent, professional, and friendly to cut your hair. He pays high attention to detail, and is never in a rush to get through your cut. His prices are also very fair. I’ve brought my 5 year old son for cuts a few times and he is always excited to see the fish and play on the mini ping pong table. Can’t recommend highly enough!!

I just got my haircut here by Mack. He gave me the cleanest full service, beard and haircut, ive ever had. He also does eyebrow threading, which my eyebrows have never been cleaner (letting my Mom and Sister know they dont have to go to any more malls!). The owner Michael is very friendly and makes you feel your right at home with the music, refreshments they serve and comfy chairs throughout the shop. Great jobs guys, you have a customer for life. PS they have lots of activities for kids parents who want the same hair perfection for their kids while they are entertained.

The overall treatment and attention to detail provided by Mike is unlike that which Ive received from any barber or stylist before. Ive been getting my hair and beard cut by him for a year, and now even make a 30 minute trip out of the way to continue to see him at his new shop. Always leave both feeling and looking my best. My whole family has been getting haircuts from Michael for a while now. His dedication to his work is unparalleled and he will make sure you get what you are looking for. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for a good hair service.

Don’t take these reviews seriously. The owner insists people post 5 star reviews excessively while in the salon. The window signs also say “spa” And by far has no “spa” amenities. Very misleading. My fiancé got a terrible hair cut here. They are inexperienced and put out poor quality work.

Michael is absolutely phenomenal when it comes to cutting , stying , everything to do with hair . I showed him a picture of exactly how I wanted my hair done . And literally it was a splitting image. Ladies and gents if you want your hair done right I 100% recommend MK Beauty & Barber Lounge and go see Michael.

Ive been coming to MK Beauty Lounge for 1 year now. The Salon and Spa looks more gorgeous every time I visit. I buy all my professional brand products(Moroccanoil, Lanza, Redken, ColorProof) here too as they have extremely affordable pricing. Every time I visit, I always feel so welcome and taken care of. Michael took my tired old pixie-to-bob transition hair and cut it into a cute short style that not only flatters me but is it easy to take care of at home. Highly recommended!
