This place took my appointments. Then in the process of cutting my kids hair they stopped took other customers. Made us stand their waiting for our turns (mind you they began with us and took walk ins between).They werent going to finish my last daughter. I had to make a stink to get them to finish the job.I would not recommend. Im never coming back here.

They did a great job. They were able to take both of my kids and they even had time for an eyebrow waxing for me. My child is trans and they were so kind and respectful, which is not always the case for them. Ildy cut hair and Bridget did my eyebrows. Thanks, ladies!

We went I for a hair cut. We discussed a hair color style We wanted. We got quoted a very decent price for the color combination we wanted so we booked an appointment. When we got to the appointment we we had to explain what we wanted multiple time for they stylist to get an understand of what we wanted we thought. We were then given a price $180 more than the original quote. Why I have no clue. Whe sat down for the color and explained 5 more time what we wanted. This stylist had no clue she had to keep asking other stylist for advice. When we were done we walked out paying the new price for a 2 color combination but only getting one of the colors. They style and color we received was nothing of what we wanted or asked for. Wi would never recommend anyone go here for a color. You are much better to go to Walmart then this salon.

I was a walk in. They said I was next I waited 20 mins. The whole time 2 of the 3 people a where just sitting there talking doing nothing. The cashier (she was very nice)seemed really embarrassed that she went back twice saying someone is waiting. The hairdresser didn’t really care and went back to there conversation. I walked into the mall the hair salon right next to JCPenney‘s took me right in and were very nice and did a great job

I got a terrible, choppy haircut but didn’t realize it until I went home and dried my hair (they don’t dry your hair after the cut if it’s an “xpress” cut which is dumb). I had to drive all the way back and she tried to fix it but it was still super choppy. I wasted $35 and now I need a third haircut.

I could not find any place to get my hair colored and cut because it was close to the holidays so I decided to try out the JCPenny salon at crossgates. I was not disappointed! Venus was my hair stylist and she was amazing! She matched up my original color and did my roots thoroughly, covered all the nasty gray and blended it into my recently highlighted hair. Venus also gave me a gorgeous cut which I got tons of compliments on! I will definitely be returning soon!

I got my haircut there today on a whim. My stylest was Nekisha and she was awesome! Her attention to detail was tremendous and she took such time & care to make sure I was completely satisfied. She even curled my hair for me because I had mentioned that I have never been able to get my hair to hold a curl. I had a bad hair cut experience in the past with a stylest who didnt listen to what I wanted and Nekisha put me at ease from the beginning. I would definitely go back to her and Im so happy I found a stylest I trust!
