HORRIBLE!!! communication is awful. Left 2 messages for the nursing director and an URGENT message for the administrator and no return calls. Came to see my mom and they advised administrator i was here and she went home. DISGUSTING

What a gorgeous place! If your loved one is going to a nursing home or assisted living, they may as well go to one inside an historical mansion!! Go tour, even if just to see all the beautiful history.

Very beautiful, unique facility. This building has such a rich heritage and unique design, theres no chance youll find another nursing home like it. Further, the management is very nice and they have great caregivers.

I’ve been at the Merriman almost a year now in assisted living. The staff treat me really well here and are on time with everything. The facility offers many activities to choose from. Dr kerek has been seeing me while I’ve lived here and is a great doctor. I get along with all the residents here and i have made a lot of new friends here. I feel at home and comfortable. I love it here.

This facility is full of so much history and character! A piece of Akrons yesteryears, the mansion is a historical property. The staff are friendly and really care about the residents. They have a dedicated management team and involved parent company. Worth the visit for sure!

I hated my grandma being here. I had to ask the nurse 5 times to bring my grandma her medicine then wait and watch her to make sure she brought it. There was no one out of there room. And the patients are down in like the basement. Reminds me of a dungeon!

Rude Staff receive a call from someone about my Application when I told her I was looking for part time position She stated the company are only looking to hire full time or PRN then I told her I will go with PRN because I’m in school she then ask what’s the reason I repeated myself then she just hung up the phone on me thanks but no thanks I wouldn’t dare work there so unprofessional!!!!

A lot of staff is extremely lazy!! Refuse to help each other out!! Tough to get room cleaned and get myself an appointment to bathe!! I have heard of worse places, but I really want out of this hole!
