Dr. Brown performed Lasik Vision Correction for me in 2006 and I enjoyed excellent vision without glasses until 2018 when I needed cataract surgery. Since this procedure, I am still enjoying excellent vision without glasses.Dr. Brown is a very kind and extremely skilled surgeon. His staff is friendly and professional.

Its long, but worth the read if youre looking to have surgery....Can you give no stars??!!!! Office staff was seemingly nice enough on the front end. Mom was told she needed the laser, to remove her cataract, which required an additional $600 TO THE DR. (NOT PAID FOR BY INSURANCE), and another $550 to the surgery center (ALSO NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE). I thought it was odd that a necessary service wouldnt be covered, but in retrospect, after having spoken with another doctor in town, the laser wasnt NECESSARY, it just costs more and lets him do more procedures faster, hmmm..... On 1/29 my mom was scheduled for her surgery on 3/19 (6 weeks out), all the while her vision was getting worse. We showed up as scheduled, they prepped her after we waited for at least 30 minutes. I then waited an additional 30 minutes or so, only to find out they hadnt even started....THE LASER WOULDNT COME ON THAT MORNING AND NO ONE CALLED US!!!!!!!! We drove an hour to get there at 7 am!!!!!Really???? Dr. Brown seemed so accommodating, telling us he would put her at the top of the list and even come in on a day when he didnt normally do surgeries if necessary. We never received a call, mom called and left 2 messages...nothing. I finally called, was told the surgery coordinator was out for surgery (NO ONE TOLD US THAT EITHER), the assistant would have to check with the Dr. regarding dates, wasnt aware he said he would come in on another day, so didnt want to confirm anything until talking with him. 2 days passed, no call, so I called back, got a very nice receptionist who gave me a tentative date, but said she would have to confirm with the surgery coordinators asst, but they would definitely get back to me by 2 and for me to call if they had not. 3:30 rolls around and I get a call from yet a 3rd person in the office. This one seems a little bitter and short with me, talking over me as I am explaining my frustration.....oh, and the best part!!! The date the receptionist gave me was never an actual AVAILABLE date, the Dr. needed to go on vacation, so Mom could either see his partner or wait another 6 weeks to get in with Dr. Brown. When this last woman blamed it all on the surgical center, that was enough for me. So we waited 6 weeks for an appt and my senior citizen, fixed income mother paid everything up front for a service that was never provided, and then was pushed off another 6 weeks, only to be told that the reason we never got a call to reschedule was because HE left the chart, but it was the surgical centers responsibility to call them to come get it???? Dr. Browns office was mad that the surgery center didnt call to let them know it was there. What? Dont they all have Outlook calendars to know who needed to be rescheduled?????? Dont they keep up with the charts???? Thats a little scary!!!! Read reviews of other doctors before you schedule, there are other options.

Horrible. Staff kept rescheduling appointments. Kept me waiting even though I was the only patient in the office The director of surgery scheduling was supposed to schedule surgery for tomorrow but still have not heard from her a day later. Heard front office staff that they hated to deal with insurance and were very rude to an elderly patient on the phone. Go somewhere else. Run.
