In town for vacation. Called the local office with a broken tooth emergency. Sharon at the Bayshore location immediately found an appointment fir me just 2 hours later at the shipyard office! Dr. E and her team were fantastic. Expert, accommodating, and prompt. Her billing specialist Monica even handled a glitch on the insurance end with speed & ease. Highly recommend the Riccobene Wilmington team— they kept me smiling!

Had an old filling that cracked. Was super anxious about getting it replaced. REBBEKKAH was amazing with music and a bubbly personality and Dr Espinoza was compassionate and handled the procedure with no pain. Love this practice.

Asked 5 months ago to get my wisdom teeth pulled. One is severely impacted so requires going under. They referred me to some other office. When I called that office, they didn’t know what I was talking about. When I called Ricobene back, they assured me they would fix it and that I would be contacted. That never happened. The only thing I received was a bill for an appointment that never existed for my wife. When I called about that, they suspiciously told us to ignore the bill and then i never heard anything about that. So 5 months goes by, I now have a chip in a wisdom tooth that is scratching my mouth. So i made an appointment for it to be looked at and they did a pano without letting me know it won’t be covered and then they shook me down for 60 bucks. Now I sit with another referral with the promise that someone “should” contact me within a week. Ever since Ricobene took over, this place has been nothing but problems.

I looked up the new hours and looks like they will lose me as a customer.Im a phlebotomist and work 8-5pm Monday - Friday. I do not get time off.I worked with a cracked tooth for over a week and a half before just because I do not get time off. And whenever I needed dental work would go either after work or on Saturday.With those hours now being demolished. Im unhappy and uncertain what Im going to do to get the care I need.They also demolished the monthly payments which I utilized and did pay in full.Good luck keeping patients and making money. People wont be able to afford you now.And how does that make sense? Even if I did take off work, Id also be losing money from the hours missed at work?Been a loyal patient for 8 years and use to highly recommend to people.Cost of living has gone up since 6 years ago. I honestly cant fathom people who make minimum wage(7.25 still I believe) to even survive.Dental work is a important health aspect. Bad teeth can inhibit other issues regarding the body and affect the heart if Im not mistaken.Hope you reconsider the changes you are making. I can see a downfall on the rise.

Also, I love the use of technology - portable x-ray gun, camera hooked to laptop - to explain what is going on. Thanks for taking the stress out of the dental experience.

Due to my own anxieties while being under treatment for an infected tooth I had concernerns that things might be going the wrong way. As luck would have it my regular dentist was out of the office on this day. I dropped by the Riccobene office on Shipyard Blvd to see if they could just take a quick look and settle my nerves. Since my dentist is a member of the Riccobene group it was no problem. They were very personable and assured me they would get me taken care of.All my personal, insurance information, and x-rays were at their fingertips. I didnt need to fill out a bunch of paperwork or answer a lot of questions. It was a settling experience for me, and Ill be back to my regular dentist next week to continue my treatment planI experienced first hand the benefits of being a patient in the Riccobene group.

There in never anything negative to say about this dental facility, and the whole team, working there. They are so attentive to all my questions or needs, regarding any treatment. Writing for wife Lori. Past 6 months they have called to reschedule her mother 3 times.Her mother is in her 80s, also poor health. Lori has to take time off work to take her. They call...Hours.... before appointment to reschedule causing stress on her mother and Lori losing pay at work for Nothing.... Today Lori had a appointment at 1. They called at 11 to reschedule due to error on their part.

I have to say, no one loves going to the dentist. Today, I left Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry with a clean smile on my face. I messaged my friend Ashley Crouch at 8:30am complaining of a toothache. I did not have a dentist locally and needed her help. She answered me immediately and advised I call the Shipyard Blvd. location.Whitney answered the phone and immediately got me an appointment at 10am. All I can say is “Winning”.When I arrived the receptionist was inviting and had the paperwork ready for me.I was seen promptly at 10am by Patti. I have to say, Patti is one of the sweetest and most thorough dental hygienists I have ever met. My teeth felt silky smooth.I knew I was going to be told that I would need to have my wisdom teeth taken out. Like a lot of people, I procrastinated.Dr. Austin was very professional and attentive to my needs and the pain I was in.I left the office knowing that my smile and oral hygiene are in the best of hands.I would also like to note, that they are affordable and worth every penny.I will send an update in a few months, after my much anticipated wisdom teeth removal.

This was a planning visit of sorts. That said, I have been going to Riccobene since it was run by the previous practice, and have never had a bad experience. They have always gone the extra mile to help. The CDAs, Doctors, and staff are all very professional, as well as friendly.

I always enjoy my dental appointments, because everyone is just so kind and courteous! The entire team from the receptionists to the dental hygienists are knowledgable and professional, and Dr. Austin takes great pride in his work. I have never been to a dental office that equals the professionalism of Riccobene Associates!

They offer an affordable payment plan if you dont have insurance. I have been with these guys for 5 years & the camaraderie of the staff is second to none. I always feel such a positive happy vibe on each visit. I highly recommend any location.

At my first appointment I felt welcomed from all, including Logan, the receptionist, Patti, the amazing hygienist, and Dr. Austin. All are very competent, take the time to get to know you, and treat you as a part of the Riccobene family. I am recommending them to anyone seeking a competent team who makes you feel welcome. Behind that big name are kind and caring folks.

I had a great experience at my visit from the moment that I entered the door and when I left. The Service was great they answered any questions that I had and very polite and made me feel important and welcome. The staff on shipyard was great. The lady who did my cleaning was very funny and sweet and she told me a lot of information about the power toothbrushes in the WaterPik so I know what to do and what to get very helpful.

I needed to reschedule my cleaning from April. There were some last minute cancellations and I was able to get in today. Amy was a thrill to have as a Hygienist. She was very gentle, thorough and gave me some helpful tips to keep my teeth and gums healthy. My teeth feel So smooth and clean! And a great check up with Dr Espinosa. Well, I liked my dental hygienist, Patti, shout out to Patti. It was clean. I felt safe. They have special air filtration for Covid safety. I didn’t speak to the dentist for long, but they are usually pretty rough and she was not rough. I was pleased with Patti explaining the care I needed and the prescription toothpaste I now need. I was pleased that they broke down the procedures I will need in 3 groups, then gave me an estimate of the out of pocket expenses. I liked that they gave it to me prior to me scheduling appointments. This made me more inclined to schedule definitely. Overall quite happy. Will update after a few more visits.

I had a dental implant started today. Theda tired & staff were so amazing. They answered my questions & made sure I was comfortable during the entire procedure. I had horrible experiences at the dentist when I was a child & am terrified to go to the dentist, but Riccobene associates are fantastic. The entire staff & doctors. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs.

I have gone to Dr Espinosa for several years and she is very exacting in her dental work and gentle. Speaking only for this location I highly recommend Riccobebe dentistry. This is the only location that I have found that actually provides consistent and friendly customer service. Billing charges are explained, questions are always answered and materials are provided if you wish to have more information about a topic. The facility is always clean and brightly lit. it is as clean as a hospital in that location.

Dr Espinosa is the best dentist I have ever had. She is very personable, caring, and very good at what she does! I wish I had found her 20 years ago! I have also seen Dr Austin. He is also wonderful!

Riccobene has always been timely with appointments. No waiting around, and all of the staff are very polite and make the experience a breeze to go through.

This was my first procedure, and it was almost completely pain free. The front desk was very welcoming from the time I walked in the Dr. Was awesome!!

Dont go here if you are high-fear or high anxiety. My husband used to be a high fear patient of any dentist but has managed to get his fear and anxiety under control over the past 5 years. He has had multiple dentist appointments in the past 5 years and has completed his appointments and walked away with no issues. The dentist refused to see him because he was sweating, looked at his chart and saw he was high-fear and proceeded to refuse service because she doesnt specialize in high fear or anxiety. He even told the dentist that he wasnt anxious and wanted to proceed with the appointment. Her response was well I dont specialize in that and frankly, I am running behind today. Sounds like a personal problem and you should manage your time better. Absolutely unprofessional and as a medical professional, you should not treat a patient in that manner, whether you specialize in high fear or not. Show some compassion to your clients. I promise, your paperwork can wait. Absolutely disgusted.

I am used to a single, dentist, owned practice where I as a patient feel I belong here. Im a patient not a customer. I am not receiving a service. I am receiving CARE. The staff, reception, Patti and Dr. Frances, at Riccobene was superior and professional. There was an atmosphere of care about them, yet their caring seemed to be restrained by the constrains of managed productivity that is good management rather than empathetic medicine. Perhaps its just me the new patient; but the sense of being managed rather than cared for was still there.

I went to the Shipyard location and had a filling done. It was the easiest dental appointment Ive ever had . Dr Austin was really efficient and it didnt even hurt when he got me numb. Jennifer the assistant was amazingly funny and kept my mind on conversation instead of the work being done. The entire staff was extremely helpful understanding my possible fears and felt really safe with ALL the precautions they are taking with COVID-19!! I reccomend any of my family and friends to see Dr Austin and his crew !! They are a great team !!

Great staff! The only dentist office that I have ever felt like what I need and can afford mattered. They are willing to work with you on your treatment plan as well as a very affordable payment plan. I feel their prices are reasonable and in most cases lower than other offices.

I feel pressured to do other dental work. I do not agree with all of the recommendations. Also, the dentist is too young. I prefer older dentists who have more experience.

Everyone at the office was so friendly! Jess, our hygienist was extremely patient and understanding with us and our 3 year old, who was less than thrilled to be there. Jess patiently waited while we had two talks with our daughter to coax her to open her mouth and even then, Jess worked around our daughter, who was sitting on my lap and refused to lie down. Our daughter ended the visit happy: with a treat, new toothbrush and ready to go back to the dentist next time. Bozart is in network for our daughters health insurance and we are so grateful for the positive experience!
