As a person who has had a traumatic experience going to the dentist, I avoided and neglected my teeth to the point that the decay was embarrassing. I never wanted to go again, but the pain became unbearable. I googled emergency dentists in Wilmington, went through the websites, and decided Dr. Rodriguez was the one I needed.Her receptionist is amazing. She is so kind and patient (I know I must have been rambling on the phone as I was in a crazy amount of pain.) I called in the morning; they saw me that afternoon.Dr. Rodriguez is the best! I needed a tooth pulled and was expecting a lot of pain. She made the whole process so quick and easy! She was so gentle and kind, was not judgmental. I have found my dentist!I have already recommended her to my family members and I recommend her to anyone and everyone who was teeth!

I LOVE it here!! I came in today for an extraction, everything happened so fast. she talk to me the whole time about everything that she was doing and anything that I may have felt. Dr was very gentle in fact so gentle when she was done she told me she was done and I was like for real LOL I didn’t believe her.

Dr. Rodriguez did several root canals and crowns in my mouth. Shortly after, I experienced major pain in the area in which she worked in and the crowns were constantly coming off! I tried to get a hold of her to address this situation and she never responded to any of my messages or calls because unfortunately, I was one of her many victims in her Medicaid fraud and at that time, and she had just got caught!. Today, one fell off again, now with the whole tooth underneath attached!. I am extremely upset that I trusted this Dentist. She came off very polite and her staff was very nice and welcoming, even sent me greeting cards. Another dentist said that all of the root canals she did failed due to improper materials and placements so not only did she fraudulently get paid double/triple from my insurance, she did really bad work in my mouth! Ill need to save for implants now to replace these teeth because my smile is now ruined! I would not recommend this dentist to anyone!

Dr. Rodriguez is the best dentist I have ever been to! She puts me at ease whenever Im having work done and does everything possible to make each procedure as painless as possible. Shes very warm and sweet and you can tell she truly cares about her patients! I would give her 10 stars if I could and so would my husband!!! Her admin, Sandra, is absolutely terrific. I went to see Dr. Rodriguez needing alot of dental work. She was very nice but due to a hectic schedule and falling Ill I had to reschedule a couple appointments and now she refuses to treat me. Leaving me stuck to find another dentist to do all the work.

I have to admit I was satisfied with the treatment my children were given for the first few years they were patients, mainly because of the courteous supporting staff at the office. With one child needing braces, this office was our only local choice for one that accepted the insurance we had through our employer. I can say that reasonable standards were met until one of our final visits when my daughter switched from braces to a retainer. The retainer the Dr. made for us was obviously flawed by comparing one side to the other, apparent even for someone without a orthodontics background. We made more than one attempt to find a solution with the Dr, but each time after only a quick glance at it, we were told that the inconsistencies we experienced with different parts of retainer were within acceptable limits, and because we are not dentists ourselves, needed to respect her professional opinion and get used to wearing it as is. My daughter made an honest attempt, but after a few weeks of being very uncomfortable when she wore it, we were forced to seek another practice that would help. We found one close by that did an unbiased evaluation, and was able to make her a better fitting one within minutes at a very reasonable cost, even though they didnt accept our insurance. There are times now when she doesnt even realize she has it in, and the progress she made with the braces can be comfortably maintained. I was deeply disappointed that Dr Rodriguez refused to work with us to find a reasonable solution for our concerns, and resorted to actually insulting me and my daughter for trying to discuss obvious issues we had with the product. After almost 6 months, I still feel very strongly against having either of my children return to the practice, even if it means paying out of pocket to take them elsewhere.

Called to get more information on a service that I wanted, the receptionist answered and said that I have the wrong office and they don’t perform the service there. And instead of asking if I needed help with anything else, she hung up in my ear. Really rude! I called back to ask another question and no one picked up.

I am a new patient here and I do not usually review places without visiting a few times but I decided to write a review after my first visit. I am not a big fan of the dentist but my first visit at Gentle Care Family Dentistry was great, they made me feel at ease and kept me very informed when I asked questions. I am usually the type of person that puts off dentist visits but I will be scheduling my appointments/ cleanings regularly and as needed at Gentle Care Family Dentistry, I greatly recommend.

I highly recommend this very professional and pleasant Dentist Practice. Dr. Rodriguez was very sensitive during my visit, made me feel very calm, and performed my extraction quickly and ensured there was next to no pain. This was an emergency visit and she was more then flexible and willing to stay late to see me and her office staff are awesome! Not often is one excited about getting dental services however I will now only see her for ALL my dental needs. They are true to their practice name!

OMG!!! I was up all night in severe pain. My own dentist could not fit me in for today and the receptionist, Sandra, was super kind, genuine and understanding and was able to fit me in immediately!!! The amount of pain I was in I did not care about the price but my dental insurance is awesome and i only paid $50!!!! Dr. Rodriguez made me feel so comfortble. She was able to fully numb me up and extract my tooth with ease!!! I FELT NOTHING!!!! AND to top it off, I was in and out in ONE HOUR!!!!!! Its been 3 hours Im still numb, and I feel no pain!!! Thank you Dr. Rodriguez and Sandra you guys rock. See you in a few weeks for my follow up!!!

They cancel appointments and try to charge you for poor quality xrays call you and threaten to take you to collections for work they did not do. STAY AWAY. tons of good dental practices out there stay away from this one. (in reference to their reply; you know exactly who I am. You cancelled my appointment may 24th 2018 before memorial day weekend. Had to deal with pain all weekend until i found a professional dentist to take care of the problem. Still dont know who i am. look at your cancelled records for that day!)

I was confortable the moment I stepped into the waiting room. The receptionist was very professional and although I ran a few minutes late, she was able to assist me with my initial paperwork to get things moving so that it didnt take away from my dental care.Dr. Marieve Rogriguez is the BEST dentist I have ever encountered. The name Gentle Care is her trademark and she made sure that I was totally relaxed before she took xrays and performed periodontal scaling and cleaning. They have up to date technology in that office and she was able to explain and translate what the xrays meant. She thoroughly explained what I needed to do in order to maintain my dental health and the dental office is clean and beautiful. I look forward to my next visit.
